Best Vet in Thornton. I have had them help me with 2 of my cats when they became very ill. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctors are caring and compassionate. I will never go anywhere else.

Recently, we had to put our dog to sleep due to cancer in his muzzle. It was a very traumatic experience for us. All of staff were caring and thoughtful from the receptionist to the vet tech who came outside to see him before we took him inside. They were very thoughtful and caring from the time we got there, to when we left him in their hands. I was very surprised to find a sympathy card in our mailbox. It was so thoughtful for them to send it. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your fur babies as they really do care - it's not just a business.

The absolute worst experience I have every had a veterinarian clinic!!!! We rushed our pup there as it was almost 7 p.m. and there weren't many options for us. Our pup had her eye bitten out and it was extensively damaged. Immediately they start asking for money and since they knew she would need surgery they needed $600 cash. I explained I rushed out of the house so quickly and I didn't have my correct credit card on me. So immediately they told me they would not be running my card for the initial $89 because I didn't have the money they needed. I explained I did have the money and to just help our pup I would run to get my credit card. They asked if I had someone that could take a picture of my credit card to prove I wasn't lying!!!! These were very young unprofessional "assistants" and I would NEVER recommend going to this place if your pet is hurt and needs emergency care. I asked if they could keep my pup while I ran to get my credit card and the gal says "Let me ask the doctor" which I never once seen a doctor there. They agree to let me leave my pup so I don't re traumatize my 11 year old having to carry our pup with her eye like that AGAIN to go get my credit card. They placed our pup in a kennel and the decision was made to take our services elsewhere at this point due to the horrible service. When we retrieved our pup she was screaming like she was being hurt. I was like what is going on "she is upset to get out of the kennel" ALL LIES I truly feel they hurt her. All worked out for the better and our next experience was amazing NOT ONCE did the new place ask for our money prior to rendering pain medicine and getting our pup medical attention and comfortable. This vet came out and spoke with us about our options and was sooooo professional and caring. NEVER GO HERE!

4 years ago I gave this practice a five star rating. But now I can't consciously recommend this place to anyone.
They have become very greedy, very selfish and extremely uncaring! They should be ashamed of themselves!
Between 3 Animals we have spent more than just a couple hundred dollars with this Clinic but lately they've turned us away twice. well I understand that if they don't have a staff, but supposedly they're an emergency clinic.
This last week my dog was poisoned and they turned us away. We ended up finding another clinic that was able to help her that was more caring and it actually cost less. Tonight our dog was released to go home but the clinic that released her was out of the food that she needed ... the specialty prescription food. They are expecting more in tomorrow but in the meantime we needed one more can. We reached out to Community Pet Hospital because they had been our veterinarian .... for one can a prescription dog food they turned us away AGAIN even though they had it on their Shelf and it was the end of the day. One can. Is all we needed. They had a case. It's not like we were asking for it for free we had cash in our hand.
Be careful of this place. They have changed so much and they should be so ashamed at themselves! Shame on you Community Pet Hospital!

I had to put my 13yr old Min Pin down yesterday and from the moment I walked into the hospital with him, they were very kind and compassionate. They never once rushed us to get out, they took there time, making sure I was 100% ready for this decision. They understood the difficulty in the situation and gave us plenty of time to say our goodbye's. The vet and tech's were wonderful, and I highly recommend this clinic/hospital. Thank you for the wonderful service and compassion you all have.

I have been of Community Pet Hospital client for over 30 years. Recently, my mini-Australian shepherd was diagnosed with a serious blood disease. I left her in the care of Community Pet Hospital. She received excellent care under the guidance of Dr Bradley Breon. While her condition is grave, I believe she is getting the best care possible. I have always been treated with care and concern. My dog is very comfortable going to the vet which speaks volumes.

Care is thorough, not rushed, and I never feel pressured to spend extra money. Alternatives are offered. Appoinments are always on time. I like knowing that in case of emergency, all my fur babies' records are here and the staff knows them. 24/7 operation and flexible hours to meet my schedule are appreciated.

I usually take my cats to the Riverdale location. Absolutely love the staff and doctors there. I only came to the Washington location because it was on a Sunday when my normal vet was closed. I'm sure this place is prompt if you have a real emergency with your pet. However if you schedule a regular appointment with them and it's a non emergency be prepared to wait at least two hours to see a doctor. When I first walked in the door right away they asked me for the $89 fee. Then they put me in the exam room which was freezing cold and smelled very dirty. I waited in there for 90 minutes and nobody came in. I finally went out and asked for my money back and left with my pet. I will not be returning to this location. It's very convenient to have a place like this that is open 24 hours however they should disclose when you make an appointment that is a non-emergency that you could possibly be waiting awhile.

Go some where else!! If they know your pet is dying and in need of immediate attention, they will stick your pet in a cage over night to wait for someone else to deal with it the next day, but only once they have your money, of course. They will tell you your pet is going to be fine when you leave, and call you the next morning asking you to come say goodbye to your pet. Sorry, no refunds. They charged me over a thousand dollars to have someone kill my dog, who had a 90% chance of a full recovery the day before. Why? Because they'd rather lose your pet than lose your money. If I had gone ANYWHERE else this would not have happened.

I had to bring my 1 1/2 year old cat in (emergency services) now normally I would go to planed pethood but they never got back to me until two days after I left a message. I was shocked to actually speak to a human, let alone someone who was super nice and genuinely cared. We did have to wait an hour or so but the staff did ask how we were periodically through out the whole time. It wasn't an inconvenience to have us sitting there like it feels at most offices. I can't stress it enough that they truly care about the well being of your animals. They priced out everything for the care plan and got to choose the best option with out spending $1,000.
I was so happy with the care we received I am now having al 4 of my animals records sent here and they will be our vet from now on. Thank you for taking amazing care of my kitty!

The community pet hospital is filled with people that genuinely care about the welfare of your animal. They are not after your wallet. The care my best friend received was beyond my expectations. I recently lost my best friend his name is Ranger and he was 15, he was recently diagnosed with cancer.. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was able to say my goodbyes. They never once rushed the situation. Ranger has been treated by this staff for a while now and I always felt like his best interest was in mind. I will never go anywhere else.

Had to bring my 1.5 year old cat in after she had been sick for a month, and wasn't getting any better on her medication.
Clover had taken a turn for the worse, so I got an appointment, and they called my vet and had all our paperwork and labs faxed over. Dr. Servis was great with our cat, but had to give us the bad news--- Clover was on her death-bed (potentially from a fatal disease called FIP that kills young kitties in weeks).
We had an ultrasound/xray done, and it was was obvious that Clover was going to suffer and die within days. She was in bad shape-- she wasn't eating, she was developing fatty liver disease, her kidneys were giant and hard, she had ascitis building up in her abdomen, and she just looked miserable.
We decided to let her go there, instead of letting her suffer even more... Dr Servis was so patient and gentle with Clover, while she eased us through this hard decision.
I know it must be a terribly difficult job sometimes, but thank you for being there when we needed you. I would have hated to let Clover suffer even more than she already had to endure.

I have had really good experiences with this office. The front desk staff is really nice and they are gentle with my dog Carl. My only complaint would be the cost. My first appointment we paid for an exam and since my dog is a small breed we ended up splitting his vaccinations into three visits. On the third visit, I was charged almost $60 for an exam, even though he had one only 2 months prior. My bill was about $25 more than what they had told me it would be. I also got the estimate for neutering and micro chip and they had 2 different prices, high end and low end. Even the low end price was really high. I will continue to take my dog here for regular checkups but I will be taking him to a family members vet out in Kiowa for his neutering and microchipping...its about $100 cheaper.

This is the second time I have been to this facility, and the way they issue you your billing is ridiculous. They give you an estimate with a low price and high price. Why? Exactly why is there a need to do two quotes, then a bill when we are conducting one service?
We own a plumbing and heating company and if we gave estimates this way we would be out of business in about five minutes. They gave me the low figure of 298. And the high price of 346., 15 minutes later the bill was 395! When I question the pricing, they offered to reduce the bill but to take back all of the medications that they had just given me.
It was a rough day, as they told me that my dog had a tumor, I was already upset but then to have them try to pull a fast one on a grieving person is outlandish. I've seen other reviews on the web that mentioned the same problem, this low estimate high estimate shenanigans. If you are going to use this pet hospital, make sure you are very clear by getting them to commit to the exact price that you were going to pay in advance or be prepared for a surprise. In addition, even though I came in the middle of the day during regular business hours they charged me the emergency visit fee of an additional $86.

We took our 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier Mix because he was throwing up and coughing. The vet looked at him real quick & said he had kennel cough. They prescribed him medication but he did not get any better. We had to take him back during emergency hours & they said his back was hurt. The vet said that he just needed rest & to make sure he doesn't walk up & down the stairs. We did exactly that but he continued to get worse. We took him back a third time & the vet said he did not have kennel cough or a hurt back, but he had something wrong with his brain. They sent us away with a copy of his labs to take to a specialist because they could not help us anymore. Our pup just continued to get worse so we had to take him to a vet in Englewood on Monday. They reviewed his labs that was given to us from this vet & they quickly found pneumonia. We had to put him down hours later. We are absolutely devastated & really disappointed that his pneumonia was looked over. If the vets took us serious that he was sick, there is a possibility he would still be alive.

Three years ago, your vet, Dr. Breon, misdiagnosed Booker as having abdominal cancer, and we were moments away from euthanizing him based on Dr. Breon's diagnosis and prognosis. Thank God I trusted my instincts and said, "This isn't right. It doesn't make sense" and took him for a second opinion, where he was correctly diagnosed as having a viral infection--a simple tummy bug. He lived two more happy, healthy, loved years until it was his time to go at age 19. I cannot express how livid I was at the time, knowing that your vet nearly cost Booker his life...and nearly cost us two years of time with him. You cannot imagine my horror when I today received a Happy Birthday email to Booker in my inbox, reminding me of that horrible experience and of our eventual loss. You've proven that your treatment of pets AND families is just inhumane.

My dog loves coming here. They understand she's a very shy gal, so they always get her into an exam room right away. They're always there even when it's the middle of the night and I'm worried about my dog. They don't act like I'm a crazy dog mom - they're always glad to answer anything I have questions about. They're very pro-prevention - vaccines, exams, heartworm prevention, and dental care are their standard care. They really do set the bar high with customer service and being open at all hours when I'm worried and need to call.

Best Vet in Thornton. I have had them help me with 2 of my cats when they became very ill. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctors are caring and compassionate. I will never go anywhere else.

Recently, we had to put our dog to sleep due to cancer in his muzzle. It was a very traumatic experience for us. All of staff were caring and thoughtful from the receptionist to the vet tech who came outside to see him before we took him inside. They were very thoughtful and caring from the time we got there, to when we left him in their hands. I was very surprised to find a sympathy card in our mailbox. It was so thoughtful for them to send it. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your fur babies as they really do care - it's not just a business.

The absolute worst experience I have every had a veterinarian clinic!!!! We rushed our pup there as it was almost 7 p.m. and there weren't many options for us. Our pup had her eye bitten out and it was extensively damaged. Immediately they start asking for money and since they knew she would need surgery they needed $600 cash. I explained I rushed out of the house so quickly and I didn't have my correct credit card on me. So immediately they told me they would not be running my card for the initial $89 because I didn't have the money they needed. I explained I did have the money and to just help our pup I would run to get my credit card. They asked if I had someone that could take a picture of my credit card to prove I wasn't lying!!!! These were very young unprofessional "assistants" and I would NEVER recommend going to this place if your pet is hurt and needs emergency care. I asked if they could keep my pup while I ran to get my credit card and the gal says "Let me ask the doctor" which I never once seen a doctor there. They agree to let me leave my pup so I don't re traumatize my 11 year old having to carry our pup with her eye like that AGAIN to go get my credit card. They placed our pup in a kennel and the decision was made to take our services elsewhere at this point due to the horrible service. When we retrieved our pup she was screaming like she was being hurt. I was like what is going on "she is upset to get out of the kennel" ALL LIES I truly feel they hurt her. All worked out for the better and our next experience was amazing NOT ONCE did the new place ask for our money prior to rendering pain medicine and getting our pup medical attention and comfortable. This vet came out and spoke with us about our options and was sooooo professional and caring. NEVER GO HERE!

They have become very greedy, very selfish and extremely uncaring! They should be ashamed of themselves!
Between 3 Animals we have spent more than just a couple hundred dollars with this Clinic but lately they've turned us away twice. well I understand that if they don't have a staff, but supposedly they're an emergency clinic.
This last week my dog was poisoned and they turned us away. We ended up finding another clinic that was able to help her that was more caring and it actually cost less. Tonight our dog was released to go home but the clinic that released her was out of the food that she needed ... the specialty prescription food. They are expecting more in tomorrow but in the meantime we needed one more can. We reached out to Community Pet Hospital because they had been our veterinarian .... for one can a prescription dog food they turned us away AGAIN even though they had it on their Shelf and it was the end of the day. One can. Is all we needed. They had a case. It's not like we were asking for it for free we had cash in our hand.
Be careful of this place. They have changed so much and they should be so ashamed at themselves! Shame on you Community Pet Hospital!

I had to put my 13yr old Min Pin down yesterday and from the moment I walked into the hospital with him, they were very kind and compassionate. They never once rushed us to get out, they took there time, making sure I was 100% ready for this decision. They understood the difficulty in the situation and gave us plenty of time to say our goodbye's. The vet and tech's were wonderful, and I highly recommend this clinic/hospital. Thank you for the wonderful service and compassion you all have.

I have been of Community Pet Hospital client for over 30 years. Recently, my mini-Australian shepherd was diagnosed with a serious blood disease. I left her in the care of Community Pet Hospital. She received excellent care under the guidance of Dr Bradley Breon. While her condition is grave, I believe she is getting the best care possible. I have always been treated with care and concern. My dog is very comfortable going to the vet which speaks volumes.

Care is thorough, not rushed, and I never feel pressured to spend extra money. Alternatives are offered. Appoinments are always on time. I like knowing that in case of emergency, all my fur babies' records are here and the staff knows them. 24/7 operation and flexible hours to meet my schedule are appreciated.

I usually take my cats to the Riverdale location. Absolutely love the staff and doctors there. I only came to the Washington location because it was on a Sunday when my normal vet was closed. I'm sure this place is prompt if you have a real emergency with your pet. However if you schedule a regular appointment with them and it's a non emergency be prepared to wait at least two hours to see a doctor. When I first walked in the door right away they asked me for the $89 fee. Then they put me in the exam room which was freezing cold and smelled very dirty. I waited in there for 90 minutes and nobody came in. I finally went out and asked for my money back and left with my pet. I will not be returning to this location. It's very convenient to have a place like this that is open 24 hours however they should disclose when you make an appointment that is a non-emergency that you could possibly be waiting awhile.

If they know your pet is dying and in need of immediate attention, they will stick your pet in a cage over night to wait for someone else to deal with it the next day, but only once they have your money, of course. They will tell you your pet is going to be fine when you leave, and call you the next morning asking you to come say goodbye to your pet. Sorry, no refunds. They charged me over a thousand dollars to have someone kill my dog, who had a 90% chance of a full recovery the day before. Why? Because they'd rather lose your pet than lose your money. If I had gone ANYWHERE else this would not have happened.

I had to bring my 1 1/2 year old cat in (emergency services) now normally I would go to planed pethood but they never got back to me until two days after I left a message. I was shocked to actually speak to a human, let alone someone who was super nice and genuinely cared. We did have to wait an hour or so but the staff did ask how we were periodically through out the whole time. It wasn't an inconvenience to have us sitting there like it feels at most offices. I can't stress it enough that they truly care about the well being of your animals. They priced out everything for the care plan and got to choose the best option with out spending $1,000.
I was so happy with the care we received I am now having al 4 of my animals records sent here and they will be our vet from now on. Thank you for taking amazing care of my kitty!

The community pet hospital is filled with people that genuinely care about the welfare of your animal. They are not after your wallet. The care my best friend received was beyond my expectations. I recently lost my best friend his name is Ranger and he was 15, he was recently diagnosed with cancer.. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was able to say my goodbyes. They never once rushed the situation. Ranger has been treated by this staff for a while now and I always felt like his best interest was in mind. I will never go anywhere else.

Had to bring my 1.5 year old cat in after she had been sick for a month, and wasn't getting any better on her medication.
Clover had taken a turn for the worse, so I got an appointment, and they called my vet and had all our paperwork and labs faxed over. Dr. Servis was great with our cat, but had to give us the bad news--- Clover was on her death-bed (potentially from a fatal disease called FIP that kills young kitties in weeks).
We had an ultrasound/xray done, and it was was obvious that Clover was going to suffer and die within days. She was in bad shape-- she wasn't eating, she was developing fatty liver disease, her kidneys were giant and hard, she had ascitis building up in her abdomen, and she just looked miserable.
We decided to let her go there, instead of letting her suffer even more... Dr Servis was so patient and gentle with Clover, while she eased us through this hard decision.
I know it must be a terribly difficult job sometimes, but thank you for being there when we needed you. I would have hated to let Clover suffer even more than she already had to endure.

I have had really good experiences with this office. The front desk staff is really nice and they are gentle with my dog Carl. My only complaint would be the cost. My first appointment we paid for an exam and since my dog is a small breed we ended up splitting his vaccinations into three visits. On the third visit, I was charged almost $60 for an exam, even though he had one only 2 months prior. My bill was about $25 more than what they had told me it would be. I also got the estimate for neutering and micro chip and they had 2 different prices, high end and low end. Even the low end price was really high. I will continue to take my dog here for regular checkups but I will be taking him to a family members vet out in Kiowa for his neutering and microchipping...its about $100 cheaper.

This is the second time I have been to this facility, and the way they issue you your billing is ridiculous. They give you an estimate with a low price and high price. Why? Exactly why is there a need to do two quotes, then a bill when we are conducting one service?
We own a plumbing and heating company and if we gave estimates this way we would be out of business in about five minutes. They gave me the low figure of 298. And the high price of 346., 15 minutes later the bill was 395! When I question the pricing, they offered to reduce the bill but to take back all of the medications that they had just given me.
It was a rough day, as they told me that my dog had a tumor, I was already upset but then to have them try to pull a fast one on a grieving person is outlandish. I've seen other reviews on the web that mentioned the same problem, this low estimate high estimate shenanigans. If you are going to use this pet hospital, make sure you are very clear by getting them to commit to the exact price that you were going to pay in advance or be prepared for a surprise. In addition, even though I came in the middle of the day during regular business hours they charged me the emergency visit fee of an additional $86.

We took our 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier Mix because he was throwing up and coughing. The vet looked at him real quick & said he had kennel cough. They prescribed him medication but he did not get any better. We had to take him back during emergency hours & they said his back was hurt. The vet said that he just needed rest & to make sure he doesn't walk up & down the stairs. We did exactly that but he continued to get worse. We took him back a third time & the vet said he did not have kennel cough or a hurt back, but he had something wrong with his brain. They sent us away with a copy of his labs to take to a specialist because they could not help us anymore. Our pup just continued to get worse so we had to take him to a vet in Englewood on Monday. They reviewed his labs that was given to us from this vet & they quickly found pneumonia. We had to put him down hours later. We are absolutely devastated & really disappointed that his pneumonia was looked over. If the vets took us serious that he was sick, there is a possibility he would still be alive.

Three years ago, your vet, Dr. Breon, misdiagnosed Booker as having abdominal cancer, and we were moments away from euthanizing him based on Dr. Breon's diagnosis and prognosis. Thank God I trusted my instincts and said, "This isn't right. It doesn't make sense" and took him for a second opinion, where he was correctly diagnosed as having a viral infection--a simple tummy bug. He lived two more happy, healthy, loved years until it was his time to go at age 19. I cannot express how livid I was at the time, knowing that your vet nearly cost Booker his life...and nearly cost us two years of time with him. You cannot imagine my horror when I today received a Happy Birthday email to Booker in my inbox, reminding me of that horrible experience and of our eventual loss. You've proven that your treatment of pets AND families is just inhumane.

My dog loves coming here. They understand she's a very shy gal, so they always get her into an exam room right away. They're always there even when it's the middle of the night and I'm worried about my dog. They don't act like I'm a crazy dog mom - they're always glad to answer anything I have questions about. They're very pro-prevention - vaccines, exams, heartworm prevention, and dental care are their standard care. They really do set the bar high with customer service and being open at all hours when I'm worried and need to call.
