First opened in May of 1999 the Wellington Veterinary Hospital's mission is to provide progressive, high quality veterinary medicine and surgical services to our clients and their pets. We will work hard as a team in providing professional and compassionate care to improve quality of life and strengthen the human-animal bond. In order to fulfill this mission we will hire only qualified staff who share the same standards of professionalism and compassion towards every client and their pet that enters our hospital.

Wellington Veterinary Hospital is one of VERY few vet clinics nationwide (only 15%) that are AAHA Accredited and they also won National Practice of the Year!
They are Fear Free Certified too, so they implement many innovative measures to ensure that stress and anxiety is minimized and your pet is super comfortable at every visit.
Their state-of-the-art clinic is beautiful, comfortable, and super clean, with cutting-edge equipment and an in-house lab. They also have luxury boarding, doggie day care, and a dog park.
The entire staff is SO incredibly warm, caring, and welcoming. Dr. Stone is our favorite though! She always takes the time to truly listen, get to know you and your pet, and treats you like family. She is highly educated, deeply compassionate, and focuses on the root cause of any issue. You can tell that she is extremely passionate about providing the best care possible to ensure your pet's overall health and safety.
It's easy to get an appointment, they are reasonably priced, and will take the ABSOLUTE VERY BEST care of your fur baby! They've cared for our 3 dogs for over 10 years, since they were brand new puppies. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our pets.
Everyone at Wellington Veterinary Hospital goes above and beyond and I'm so grateful for all of them! Their expertise and high quality care is head and shoulders above other vets!

The veterinarians and staff at Wellington Veterinary Hospital are the BEST!!! Not only is the veterinary care top notch but the "hotel accommodations" are amazing. Pet "spa"???? I boarded my very hyperactive, spoiled rotten fur baby with them for 5 days. I received daily text updates which were truly appreciated. She received the very best care and obviously a TON of love and attention....plus a bath and nail trim!!!! She LOVES to go to Wellington Veterinary Hospital . . . and so do I. The BEST of the BEST!!! A FIVE HEART RATING, INDEED!!!!

I love the care and attention my lab, Diesel, gets from every member of the staff. As a rescue dog, he has issues trusting at times, but Diesel is so well cared for and loved at Wellington Vet Hospital that he strains to go inside every chance he can. Dr. Cervelli and the rest of the team have shown such sincere concern for his well-being that I am always comfortable and confident with their proposed treatments and actions. Diesel is comfortable with them as well, and he likes the treats he gets for being a good boy. Diesel came to me with some health issues that took a while to correct, but he is a very healthy & happy pup now. We plan to keep it that way, and it is nice to know we have such a competent and dedicated group available whenever we need their help. The dog park connected to the facility is also a great added bonus. We take advantage of that every day!

The Wellington Vet Clinic staff was so very professional and caring they made sure my family was calm and comfortable and then took excellent care of my dog.
My neighborhood also had a very hungry looking husky running around. Everyone thought it was a stray. I managed to get her and I took her to the vet clinic knowing it's better than the pound. To my surprise they knew this dog and were able to find her owner within the hour.
Just incredible service, genuine compassion and the skills to ensure any pet is a healthy and fun loving partner.
Wouldn't go anywhere else.

We recently changed vets and have been really impressed with the care from Dr. Gagne. She has followed up with us about our different options and has done extensive research to make sure the treatment plan is the most effective for our dog. When she was willing to send us to another vet who could do a procedure that their office did not provide I knew we were in good hands. She was looking out for what was best for out dog and not for the financial gain of their office. Highly recommend Wellington Vet Hospital!

We were coming in for a senior checkup for our dog for the first time. Upon arrival he was taken from my arms and taken into a room with no explanation, later to be charged with oxygen. We were told that he was dying and when we asked for the price of euthanization they told us it was under $40. Upon paying the bill that same afternoon for euthanization, they then added oxygen charge and medicine they gave to calm him down without my approval, then the costs kept adding up with more miscellaneous charges that were not on the itemization handed to me. Suddenly coming to over $1100. On top of all this while our family loved dog was dying, a vet assistant came in to tell us we could cremate for under $40 which we agreed to do. Then found out the cremation was actually over $200 and we were told we "misunderstood because of the distress we were under losing our dog". Left feeling blindsided and taken advantage of. To finalize this experience we asked for 4 paw prints for each family member which they do for everyone for free. We ended up only receiving 2 paw prints. This experience was traumatic, heart breaking, and extremely disappointing. I would NEVER recommend such a lying facility to anyone.

Very friendly and compassionate staff. Clean, well-maintained and private exam rooms. They cared for my elderly cat in a kind, gentle, and knowledgable way. Due to some of the other comments here, I thought I should mention that they break down the costs of treatment, and give you a range of low to high prices, and give you the choices to best care for your animals. I had a great experience here, and highly recommend this Vet hospital for professionalism and compassionate care.

I started going to Dr. Jensen 18 years ago. I have had multiple dogs over the years and by far Dr. Jensen's care for animals is second to none. She has cried with me as we put down some of most beloved family members. Her diagnostic capability, patience, dedication, and care keep me coming back year after year. Just when you thought you could not receive better care, she added Dr. Stone and Dr. Bennett. They are both incredible assets to the practice. Wellington Vet is nationally accredited and has even taken to holistic approaches as well such as acupuncture. This is a one stop Vet clinic that offers everything, including a friendly office and assistant staff. They are also great if you need OFA certifications or Penn-Hips done for breeding purposes. Thank you for your continued friendship and care throughout the years and most of all for the excellence and professional standards in your work.

We normally see Dr. Stone and she is hip and smart but most importantly everyone's expertise is, bar none, some of the best I've encountered in my travels and experience with a variety of vets. The customer care, communication, and bed side manner you receive from the techs and the vets is also excellent and much appreciated. They also routinely receive awards and AAHA accreditation. These people really care about you and your pets. I brought my cats here and they put us in a "Cats Only" room so they wouldn't smell any dogs. My cats were more comfortable staying on the floor so our vet just sat on the floor with my cats and did the wellness checkup there!
I also recently adopted a puppy and took her for her first check-up today, and I felt like they just wanted to make this experience a positive one for my dog. While they were examining her, they let her stay on my lap and fed her healthy treats the whole time. She felt so comfortable, she fell asleep in the office.
They were eager to answer all of my questions and I will be happy to return there for all of my pets needs.
*It was also a bonus that, of the two times I've been there, despite ariving early, I have never used the waiting area, they just took me straight to my room

I really can't say enough nice things about Wellington Vet and Dr. Teva Stone! I'm between vets right now and my 9.5 year old Great Dane began limping yesterday. Needless to say I was very worried. Wellington Vet was able to get me in to see Dr Stone quickly and from the moment I entered the hospital I knew this place was special. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming and they gave my very nervous girl, Lily, all the special attention she needed. Dr. Stone was compassionate and genuine and it was clear she really cared about my dog and my concern for her wellbeing. She explained everything she was doing and her findings and, when it became clear an xray was necessary, was clear in its value (and cost). Afterwards she spent the time showing me the xray results and explaining what she saw. Most importantly, her and her staff took exceptional care of Lily the entire time - she walked in a very nervous dog and eventually fell asleep ON THE COUCH in the exam room!In the end Lily only has some mild arthritis (to my relief) but what I really learned in this visit was that I have a real partner in the care of my pets in Wellington Vet and Dr Stone. I recommend them to anyone in the Wellington area!

It's always scary sending a fur baby in for surgery but our family knew that he was in the best hands possible. Very expensive, WVH seemed more interested in doing costly tests and did not even help my cat. I paid $316 for an office visit and several tests and 4 days later my cat was worse off. My new vet, charged me of what WVH charged and he actually helped my cat. Overall very disappointing experience and I will never go back.

Dr. Tracey Jensen and her team are phenomenal. We learned about Wellington Veterinary Hospital from our dog trainer, who said they were the best veterinary clinic in the area. Dr. Jensen and her team have been caring for our three dogs and two cats since we moved to Fort Collins several years ago. I could not imagine taking our animals anywhere else. The team is very supportive above and beyond just providing medical care for our animals. I've called to ask for advice about some unique and challenging animal behaviors and the team's suggestions/advice/guidance has always worked 100%. Dr. Jenson guided us through the process of safely introducing a tiny orphaned kitten we adopted to be accepted into our dog's pack and now the three dogs and cat are the best of friends. The team also offered fantastic advice on how to introduce a new rescue cat to the group of animals and using their advice, the animals are slowly accepting this new addition to our family.I couldn't recommend Wellington Veterinary Hospital any higher. :-)

This vet was recommended to me for geriatric care of my dog. Unfortunately a huge bill later I still had to go for a second opinion at the Vet Emergency Hospital and further assistance after having to find a different vet. After my experience I could not trust them again with my fur baby. My 2 major problems:1.After an overnight stay due to a 107 degree fever-i returned to pick up my pup later the next day. Was told we were testing for Lepro. THEN I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT after 2 full days the vet calls ME to say if I PERSONALLY cannot run the test to the CSU lab they couldn't either--( on a $200 test!). So I arranged for my mother to pick it up as my emotions had drained me. My mom arrives with less than 30 min to spare to get the specimen in and there are 3 receptionist hanging out- in no hurry and laughing. UM WHY DID I HAVE TO DO THIS....AND NO THE APOLOGY WAS NOT ENOUGH. How bout giving me the $20 in gas back for the round trip drop off or dropping the price.2. There prices are higher than the rest. I can make this one easy for you. 3 days of diagnosis at this vet cost the same as a 3 day vet stay with surgery from my new vet . hmmmm every price listed was at least 20% higher at the wellington vet.I say over-priced and failure on customer care. I will never go back.

I love the care and attention my lab, Diesel, gets from every member of the staff. As a rescue dog, he has issues trusting at times, but Diesel is so well cared for and loved at Wellington Vet Hospital that he strains to go inside every chance he can. Dr. Cervelli and the rest of the team have shown such sincere concern for his well-being that I am always comfortable and confident with their proposed treatments and actions. Diesel is comfortable with them as well, and he likes the treats he gets for being a good boy. Diesel came to me with some health issues that took a while to correct, but he is a very healthy & happy pup now. We plan to keep it that way, and it is nice to know we have such a competent and dedicated group available whenever we need their help. The dog park connected to the facility is also a great added bonus. We take advantage of that every day!

The Wellington Vet Clinic staff was so very professional and caring they made sure my family was calm and comfortable and then took excellent care of my dog.
My neighborhood also had a very hungry looking husky running around. Everyone thought it was a stray. I managed to get her and I took her to the vet clinic knowing it's better than the pound. To my surprise they knew this dog and were able to find her owner within the hour.
Just incredible service, genuine compassion and the skills to ensure any pet is a healthy and fun loving partner.
Wouldn't go anywhere else.

We recently changed vets and have been really impressed with the care from Dr. Gagne. She has followed up with us about our different options and has done extensive research to make sure the treatment plan is the most effective for our dog. When she was willing to send us to another vet who could do a procedure that their office did not provide I knew we were in good hands. She was looking out for what was best for out dog and not for the financial gain of their office. Highly recommend Wellington Vet Hospital!

We were coming in for a senior checkup for our dog for the first time. Upon arrival he was taken from my arms and taken into a room with no explanation, later to be charged with oxygen. We were told that he was dying and when we asked for the price of euthanization they told us it was under $40. Upon paying the bill that same afternoon for euthanization, they then added oxygen charge and medicine they gave to calm him down without my approval, then the costs kept adding up with more miscellaneous charges that were not on the itemization handed to me. Suddenly coming to over $1100. On top of all this while our family loved dog was dying, a vet assistant came in to tell us we could cremate for under $40 which we agreed to do. Then found out the cremation was actually over $200 and we were told we "misunderstood because of the distress we were under losing our dog". Left feeling blindsided and taken advantage of. To finalize this experience we asked for 4 paw prints for each family member which they do for everyone for free. We ended up only receiving 2 paw prints. This experience was traumatic, heart breaking, and extremely disappointing. I would NEVER recommend such a lying facility to anyone.

I started going to Dr. Jensen 18 years ago. I have had multiple dogs over the years and by far Dr. Jensen's care for animals is second to none. She has cried with me as we put down some of most beloved family members. Her diagnostic capability, patience, dedication, and care keep me coming back year after year. Just when you thought you could not receive better care, she added Dr. Stone and Dr. Bennett. They are both incredible assets to the practice. Wellington Vet is nationally accredited and has even taken to holistic approaches as well such as acupuncture. This is a one stop Vet clinic that offers everything, including a friendly office and assistant staff. They are also great if you need OFA certifications or Penn-Hips done for breeding purposes. Thank you for your continued friendship and care throughout the years and most of all for the excellence and professional standards in your work.

These people really care about you and your pets. I brought my cats here and they put us in a "Cats Only" room so they wouldn't smell any dogs. My cats were more comfortable staying on the floor so our vet just sat on the floor with my cats and did the wellness checkup there!
I also recently adopted a puppy and took her for her first check-up today, and I felt like they just wanted to make this experience a positive one for my dog. While they were examining her, they let her stay on my lap and fed her healthy treats the whole time. She felt so comfortable, she fell asleep in the office.
They were eager to answer all of my questions and I will be happy to return there for all of my pets needs.
*It was also a bonus that, of the two times I've been there, despite ariving early, I have never used the waiting area, they just took me straight to my room

I really can't say enough nice things about Wellington Vet and Dr. Teva Stone! I'm between vets right now and my 9.5 year old Great Dane began limping yesterday. Needless to say I was very worried. Wellington Vet was able to get me in to see Dr Stone quickly and from the moment I entered the hospital I knew this place was special. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming and they gave my very nervous girl, Lily, all the special attention she needed. Dr. Stone was compassionate and genuine and it was clear she really cared about my dog and my concern for her wellbeing. She explained everything she was doing and her findings and, when it became clear an xray was necessary, was clear in its value (and cost). Afterwards she spent the time showing me the xray results and explaining what she saw. Most importantly, her and her staff took exceptional care of Lily the entire time - she walked in a very nervous dog and eventually fell asleep ON THE COUCH in the exam room!In the end Lily only has some mild arthritis (to my relief) but what I really learned in this visit was that I have a real partner in the care of my pets in Wellington Vet and Dr Stone. I recommend them to anyone in the Wellington area!

Very expensive, WVH seemed more interested in doing costly tests and did not even help my cat. I paid $316 for an office visit and several tests and 4 days later my cat was worse off. My new vet, charged me of what WVH charged and he actually helped my cat. Overall very disappointing experience and I will never go back.

Dr. Tracey Jensen and her team are phenomenal. We learned about Wellington Veterinary Hospital from our dog trainer, who said they were the best veterinary clinic in the area. Dr. Jensen and her team have been caring for our three dogs and two cats since we moved to Fort Collins several years ago. I could not imagine taking our animals anywhere else. The team is very supportive above and beyond just providing medical care for our animals. I've called to ask for advice about some unique and challenging animal behaviors and the team's suggestions/advice/guidance has always worked 100%. Dr. Jenson guided us through the process of safely introducing a tiny orphaned kitten we adopted to be accepted into our dog's pack and now the three dogs and cat are the best of friends. The team also offered fantastic advice on how to introduce a new rescue cat to the group of animals and using their advice, the animals are slowly accepting this new addition to our family.I couldn't recommend Wellington Veterinary Hospital any higher. :-)

This vet was recommended to me for geriatric care of my dog. Unfortunately a huge bill later I still had to go for a second opinion at the Vet Emergency Hospital and further assistance after having to find a different vet. After my experience I could not trust them again with my fur baby. My 2 major problems:1.After an overnight stay due to a 107 degree fever-i returned to pick up my pup later the next day. Was told we were testing for Lepro. THEN I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT after 2 full days the vet calls ME to say if I PERSONALLY cannot run the test to the CSU lab they couldn't either--( on a $200 test!). So I arranged for my mother to pick it up as my emotions had drained me. My mom arrives with less than 30 min to spare to get the specimen in and there are 3 receptionist hanging out- in no hurry and laughing. UM WHY DID I HAVE TO DO THIS....AND NO THE APOLOGY WAS NOT ENOUGH. How bout giving me the $20 in gas back for the round trip drop off or dropping the price.2. There prices are higher than the rest. I can make this one easy for you. 3 days of diagnosis at this vet cost the same as a 3 day vet stay with surgery from my new vet . hmmmm every price listed was at least 20% higher at the wellington vet.I say over-priced and failure on customer care. I will never go back.
