Dr. Canepa is fantastic! She has taken such good care of our geriatric pup, and has a such an incredible heart and compassion for what she does. Also, about a year ago we rescued a new puppy, and Dr. Canepa welcomed "Oreo" into our family (and hers) with open arms. Unfortunately, about a month ago we had to let go of Trooper so he could run and play across the rainbow bridge. Dr. Canepa and her staff made a very difficult transition, much easier with the manner in which the euthanization process was administered. We were able to hold and comfort our boy during the process, and stay with him until we were ready to leave - this allowed our family to gain closure on this immense loss. Dr. Canepa and her staff were so gracious and caring throughout this process, and they continue to be. They check on us, and Oreo frequently to see how everyone is doing. I highly recommend Dr. Canepa and Legacy Veterinary Clinic - they are true professionals, with caring, compassionate hearts and a love for what they do. I will be forever grateful to them for easing the burden of a very, very difficult transition when we lost our "Trooper Boy." Read Less

I absolutely love this vet and so does our dog. He really gets excited when we go in and loves them there. They took such great care of our dog when we went in and he had some intestinal blockage. They truly care and treated him as if he was their own dog. I highly recommend this vet, all three vets that practice here are just lovely and very knowledgeable. I've been going to this vet for almost 3 years now and have nothing but amazing things to say about them. My oldest dog, Nala, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi about a year or so after moving to Colorado ate a razor, well she ate everything in the trash can to include a razor. Fortunately my brother at the time was living with us and woke up to Nala bleeding from the mouth. I rushed home and immediately took her in. They did a quick x-ray and found that there was razor bits in her belly and rushed her back for surgery. While I was an EMOTIONAL wreck they were calm, cool, and collected. About 4-ish hours later we came back and picked her up. She had multiple pieces of the razor in her belly and upon completion of the surgery another quick x-ray showed a small piece heading into her intestine. The vets at this clinic are so incredibly innovative that a pin magnet backer was used to pull the razor back into the tummy so it could be extracted. Our pup recovered splendidly and we were called routinely for pet check-ups. I'm not a mom yet, but having vets and staff that care for your pet as much as you do is hard to find. They're simply amazing and have a full heart when it comes to your four legged family members! We've since moved from Westminster to Denver and I'll continue to make the drive versus making a switch. Every single person there was so nice and kind. Honestly the best experience I've ever had in a vet's office. They put me at ease, were very empathetic and I felt like they were being very straight forward with me without compromising their bedside manner. Will not go back and do not recommend to anybody. They will tell you that your pet has allergies and needs to be on a very expensive and very dangerous drug called Apoquel. This is a scam! Please research this dangerous drug first! It causes lymphoma cancer and has many other terrible side effects. After they told me my dog needed this drug (because he gets allergies twice a year, which we easily cure with Benadryl) they refused to take the unopened $140, 30 day dose back after we did our research and found out the problems it is causing in other dogs. They are only interested in perscibing your dog drugs that are expensive and require more expensive blood work every 90 days to keep you coming back. I believe this vet is only interested in maximizing profit and not the accurate care and treatment of your pet. Always get a second opinion, especially when they tell you your healthy pet needs to be on a life long, dangerous drug made by Phizer. Read Less

Beyond excellent. I found the legacy veterinary clinic after in depth research, for my family's aging golden retriever Casey. I am a skeptic at heart, with a research hobby, and anything but a easy sell, every bit of my trust has to be earned. As anyone who has gone through the experience can attest the last year of a pets life is by far the hardest and requires the most care both from you and from your vet. I was impressed time and time again in how both Dr. Sarhangpour and the entire office handled each situation that arose. Helping us provide the very best care possible for Casey while still being careful to avoid unnecessary treatments that wouldn't improve his quality of life and only cause him needless discomfort. The level of care for they provide verses the cost is, in truth, shocking. They are a vet that truly puts the animals first. The empathy, professionalism, and compassion shown by the entire clinic was beyond reproach. They are truly a clinic that cares deeply for the animals we all love, and you can trust them to do just that. We took my French Bulldog Malia there for her first appointment this week after reading all of their positive reviews on Yelp and thought we would try it out. The moment my family and I walked in we knew we made the right choice. The building is extremely clean and the Doctor gave us a tour of the facility so we felt comfortable. The Doctor we had was named Dr. Canepa and I was so impressed with her and how good she was with Malia. She gave us great advice for taking on a puppy of Frenchie breed and took her time with us and answered any questions we had. The rest of the staff were the kindest people and treated my baby, as well as myself and the rest of my family so well. Finding a doctor for a new puppy can be stressful, but I am 100% happy and confident we made the right choice coming here. Read Less

I had a friend recommend this clinic for my cats as their previous vet was no longer at the office we went to. I am so happy that they are my babies vet now. Each kitty has had a visit now, and it's been incredible every time. Dr. Courtney Canepa is so kind and caring, and throughly explains what is best for the cats and listens to our concerns. Every staff member has also been kind and treats the animals as their own, which goes a long way in my book. This group of vets is amazing. The doctor was great and didn't try to push unnecessary tests or procedures on us to rack up a bill. When it was time to say goodbye to out beloved dog they were kind and gracious and comforted us in our grief. They even did sweet paw prints so we could remember our boy forever. Dr. Sarhangpour was recommended to us by a good friend of mine who had cats with chronic health problems. Instead of just giving up on them, Dr. Sarhangpour worked with them (my friend and the cats) to maintaining quality of life for as long as possible. I now have cats who are developing health issues and I am getting the same treatment from Dr. Sarhangpour and staff. I like that Dr. Sarhangpour has a lab on site.
