the past, I've received a high level of care for my pets. but we've seen a different vet the last 3 visits. This last (and my final) visit, my dog was unable to receive care, but I was still charged $40 for an office visit. I left with a business card for dog training, and an Rx for human antidepressant/sedative for my dog, even though they lectured me about my friend administering baby aspirin. My dog hasn't been eating, which could be from separation anxiety, but nonetheless I wanted to rule out tooth problems, tumor (there's a tiny lump near her ear). Plus she injured her leg this weekend chasing a pack of coyotes in the mountains, and the vet tech suggested a Lepto immunization. My dog was fine when the vet tech was with us. When the vet came in with her assistant, dogs were barking at both sides of the office. The vet seemed anxious about looking at her teeth. She said there was something in the notes about a muzzle in the past (I think for immunizations). I'm not sure why she didn't check her ear and leg before anyone tried to (unsuccessfully) muzzle her. Being cornered by anxious staff while dogs were barking all around only compounded her fear from the weekend's coyote incident. I've been slowly becoming more unhappy. Now, I'll definitely be looking for another vet. My dog will remember coming here. I'm not sedating her for a ptsd vet experience. Read Less
