I've known Jan literally my entire life. My mother used to work for her here, and still does occasional house calls. Not only is Jan one of the most caring people I've ever known when it comes to people and animals, but she is also very knowledgeable and well-practiced. I strongly recommend Dr. Facinelli's approach to anyone with an pet cat or dog with chronic (or even acute) symptoms.  She cured my cat of chronic urinary tract infections - PERMANENTLY.  The cat had been having recurring infections every 6 months on antibiotic/conventional treatment.  It took a few rounds of treatment, but she never had another one until she died of old age about 10 years later.  All of my cats go at least once to Holistic Care for Animals for well checks.  Another great benefit is that the animals don't seem to be scared to go to her office, unlike the conventional vet clinics.  They all seem relaxed and at home while being seen. I have been taking my pets to Jan for several years. She does a great job and obviously cares about the animals under her care as well as the people that bring them in. I have had instances when one of my dogs required a procedure that could not be done in her office and she always provided me with a referral to another vet. Dr. Jan Facinelli is an amazing example of a veterinarian.  She specializes in Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Nutrition and Orthopedic Manipulation.  I brought her my very elderly and very sick dog and she spent many hours with us.  She called me at home on a regular basis to check up on us and make new recommendations according to what was happening at the time.  Her dedication and expertise gave me another month with my baby.  Unfortunately my dog's cancer was untreatable, but I am grateful for the quality time I was able to spend with my dog before she passed.  It was so nice to feel like I could call on my vet, even when she was not at work, for advice and assistance when I really needed it.  Dr. Facinelli is the most caring vet I have ever encountered (and I've been to quite a few vets in my life). She is expensive, but I highly recommend her if you have the money and want fabulous care for your pet. Read Less
