Very professional caring veterinary hospital. Exam room is comfortable. There's a low couch to sit on that is easy for most pets to jump up and sit with you. There's a nice rug on the floor for exams.

They have such an amazing staff here! We take our rats and dog here and they have always gone above and beyond. When one of our rats got sick they helped give advice over the phone even though they were swamped and technically closed. They are great about following up and treat our animals like the family they are and not just like some pet.

Pick any other vet but them!! Rip off, terrible customer service, and way overpriced!! I guess I should have read the previous reviews first.
They will schedule with you and then a week later, tell you you never had an appointment scheduled. Will say they faxed vaccine records to day care/boarding, but don't. Are rude and argue with you. Will lie. Front desk staff have no idea how to answer any questions about what is included in an exam and the vet doesn't even know how to use her own software program! Don't ask any questions or you will get put on hold for 30 minutes until you hang up out of frustration cause front desk staff have not been trained, and then the vet will call you back and be rude and accuse you of saying things you never said. Will quote you one price over the phone $32 and then will charge you $49 when you are checking out and then lie about it!!! They will tell you your dogs need things they do not need. Don't fall for it!
It took 2 hours for vaccinations for 2 dogs. Doc didn't even come in until 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment time - pack a good book and your lunch/dinner. Disregard, just go elsewhere. The vet, herself, Ms Carson, was rude and argued with me stating I have given them a problem every time I have been there, when I questioned their $800 bill, and tonight was the FIRST TIME I was ever there. Get your facts straight lady!
Oh, I almost forgot, they will send you a free doggie ID for your wallet, in case you don't know your dog's name or what he/she looks like. What a joke!
P.S. If you are allergic to cats, be forwarded, they have cats roaming the place.

The Vets Animal Hospital is my favorite! They always greet my corgis and myself by name, and are quick to offer suggestions over the phone and make a last minute appointment for emergencies. All of the vets and incredibly knowledgeable and explain things to me in a way I can understand, and the techs are phenomenal! It truly makes the task of taking my two pups to the vet much less of a chore when it is an enjoyable experience! I owe them all such a huge thank you for getting us through some ups and downs after moving here with our middle aged girl Echo, and all the puppy unknowns with our newest fur baby Maple 🙂

These are some of the most amazing people. Our 19 year old cat's health had been declining, and it was time to put her down. The gracious help and support that I received from Nicole when I called to discuss this, as well as when I took Hannah in to be put down was overwhelming. Thank you for making a very difficult time much more manageable.
One of our rescue dogs, Esther, that struggles with strangers has gone in for dental work. Rosa at The Vets was so thoughtful of Esther's needs and took her time so that she could get to know Rosa. While Esther was there for dental work, the communications were great, and on pick up the information and discharge instructions were in great order and very helpful.
VERY caring and knowledgeable staff from the front desk to the technicians to the vets- everyone is just wonderful!

My dog was getting bloody noses a while back, so I took her to our regular "veterinarian." Unfortunately, they are a large corporate entity, and were soulless in their actions. They would only take my dog in for testing, the first round of which was expensive, and had small hope of finding out anything. It would only get more expensive from there. I never even got a doctor to look at my dog, nor offer ANYTHING in the way of advice or ideas. It was either pay for the testi...ng or get out. Fortunately, I found The Vets! Dr. Carson spent a large amount of time with my dog and I. She offered several explanations as to why the bloody noses might be happening, the possible diagnostic methods and their costs, and offered a well-thought-out plan for addressing it. We started with a simple, inexpensive course of action that I could do at home. As of today, two months later, we haven't had a single bloody nose! Because of my dog's age, Dr. Carson also recommended a couple of supplements to help with her joints and arthritis. My dog hasn't been this active in a long time! It's great to know there is a local veterinarian who cares so much about animals, but also makes their owners feel better, too. Thank you. See more

I've been using The Vets for the past 5 years and they've seen my dogs and I through a few tough illnesses. They've always been there for us and have always been patient. I have an extremely anxious rescue dog and they go slow with her and don't rush through so that she feels more secure and this approach has paid off since each visit is easier for her. I'm very pleased with the service we've received through the years from Dr. Carson, Dr. Schwarz-David and all the technicians.

My dog Barkley, a cockapoo, has always been a patient of the Vet's. He has had great preventative care and a couple of minor-major accidents that have been handled in a very responsible manner. To me that means doing what is logical and appropriate but not jumping into surgery, etc.
They suggest preventive measures such as a tooth cleaning solution in his daily water that has helped keep his teeth clean without the need for expensive cleaning yet. He is 5 years old so that may be the future.

I went to this Vet because of the free exam after I adopted a kitten from Fort Collins Cat Rescue. I liked them and they seemed to know felines. I also told them what I expected from my experience with them since I had a terrific vet in Texas and it's been very difficult to locate one that comes close. They spend a lot of time answering questions and discussing their findings and what is going on with your pet. I wish they were not so far away from me, but I do believe that they care about my boys!

Recent "Thumbs Up" for accommodating the treatment of a family member's young dog who needed orthopedic surgery. The out of town surgeon needed pre surgery radiographs and a local surgery suite on short notice during the holidays. Even though Abby was not an established patient you were most helpful. The post surgery follow up was also appreciated. Thanks to your assistance our "pup" is on the "leash" to recovery.

As soon as I moved to CO. from CA. 8 yrs. ago I chose to bring my 2 small dogs to The Vets Hospital because they were in walking distance from my home. I wanted to 'try' them out, and have never considered going anywhere else since. Most of my experience has been with Dr. Carson and I have found her and her staff to be extremely professional with great concern for my dogs' health, friendly, and very caring. Recently I have been seeing Dr. Kellogg and she seems to fit right in with the same philosophy and ethics as Dr. Carson and the staff. The best testimony actually comes from my dogs...not caring for other vets in the past, but enthusiastically run to everybody there, loves the entire staff, and they even scratche on the door to get in when we are out for our nightly walks.

The Vets Animal Hospital is such a great place! A little over two years ago I brought my 5 month old black Lab there after I came home from school and found him injured. They did x-rays and found he had broken a femur after climbing over a baby gate and getting his leg stuck then falling (my best guess anyways).I left the care of my beloved puppy to The Vets Animal Hospital while he had surgery to fix his borken femur. They did a great job with his surgery. After many follow-up visits, re-xrays and some doggie downers to keep him calm while healing, Triton was back to new! He even had the plate that was placed in his leg removed six months after it was put in. The staff there was great with him and he still loves to go back and visit them from time to time - he's always good for them and does what they want him to do.Now Triton is a high drive, wild, fun two year old Labrador who does anything any other dog can do even after his injury! He does obedience, agility, DockDogs, and he's a good hunter to boot. He even recently had his hips and elbows filmed for OFA here and had no lasting effects from his femur. His hips were excellent and his elbows normal.I owe both of my dogs' great health to the staff at The Vets Animal Hospital. They've got an amazing staff that cares about the animals, a clean facility, and fair prices. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else!

My dog recently had dental work done. It was much needed, but expensive and I'm on a pretty tight budget. Dr. Carson was very sensitive to this, ended up giving me a large discount and some free product to take home. She and her staff were also very compassionate in their handling of my dog, who had been sedated and had pain for several days after the procedure. Even though I have only been to their office a few times, I stopped in last night (they also have convenient hours for people who work) and before I gave my name, the receptionist had found my account and referred to my dog by name.You don't often encounter this type of personal service these days and I am very grateful to have found Dr. Carson and The Vets Animal Hospital to care for my dog.

Don't fall for it!
It took 2 hours for vaccinations for 2 dogs. Doc didn't even come in until 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment time - pack a good book and your lunch/dinner. Disregard, just go elsewhere. The vet, herself, Ms Carson, was rude and argued with me stating I have given them a problem every time I have been there, when I questioned their $800 bill, and tonight was the FIRST TIME I was ever there. Get your facts straight lady!
Oh, I almost forgot, they will send you a free doggie ID for your wallet, in case you don't know your dog's name or what he/she looks like. What a joke!
P.S. If you are allergic to cats, be forwarded, they have cats roaming the place.

They will schedule with you and then a week later, tell you you never had an appointment scheduled. Will say they faxed vaccine records to day care/boarding, but don't. Are rude and argue with you. Will lie. Front desk staff have no idea how to answer any questions about what is included in an exam and the vet doesn't even know how to use her own software program! The Vets Animal Hospital is my favorite! They always greet my corgis and myself by name, and are quick to offer suggestions over the phone and make a last minute appointment for emergencies. All of the vets and incredibly knowledgeable and explain things to me in a way I can understand, and the techs are phenomenal! It truly makes the task of taking my two pups to the vet much less of a chore when it is an enjoyable experience! I owe them all such a huge thank you for getting us through some ups and downs after moving here with our middle aged girl Echo, and all the puppy unknowns with our newest fur baby Maple 🙂

These are some of the most amazing people. Our 19 year old cat's health had been declining, and it was time to put her down. The gracious help and support that I received from Nicole when I called to discuss this, as well as when I took Hannah in to be put down was overwhelming. Thank you for making a very difficult time much more manageable.
One of our rescue dogs, Esther, that struggles with strangers has gone in for dental work. Rosa at The Vets was so thoughtful of Esther's needs and took her time so that she could get to know Rosa. While Esther was there for dental work, the communications were great, and on pick up the information and discharge instructions were in great order and very helpful.
VERY caring and knowledgeable staff from the front desk to the technicians to the vets- everyone is just wonderful!

My dog was getting bloody noses a while back, so I took her to our regular "veterinarian." Unfortunately, they are a large corporate entity, and were soulless in their actions. They would only take my dog in for testing, the first round of which was expensive, and had small hope of finding out anything. It would only get more expensive from there. I never even got a doctor to look at my dog, nor offer ANYTHING in the way of advice or ideas. It was either pay for the testi...ng or get out. Fortunately, I found The Vets! Dr. Carson spent a large amount of time with my dog and I. She offered several explanations as to why the bloody noses might be happening, the possible diagnostic methods and their costs, and offered a well-thought-out plan for addressing it. We started with a simple, inexpensive course of action that I could do at home. As of today, two months later, we haven't had a single bloody nose! Because of my dog's age, Dr. Carson also recommended a couple of supplements to help with her joints and arthritis. My dog hasn't been this active in a long time! It's great to know there is a local veterinarian who cares so much about animals, but also makes their owners feel better, too. Thank you. See more

I've been using The Vets for the past 5 years and they've seen my dogs and I through a few tough illnesses. They've always been there for us and have always been patient. I have an extremely anxious rescue dog and they go slow with her and don't rush through so that she feels more secure and this approach has paid off since each visit is easier for her. I'm very pleased with the service we've received through the years from Dr. Carson, Dr. Schwarz-David and all the technicians.

My dog Barkley, a cockapoo, has always been a patient of the Vet's. He has had great preventative care and a couple of minor-major accidents that have been handled in a very responsible manner. To me that means doing what is logical and appropriate but not jumping into surgery, etc.
They suggest preventive measures such as a tooth cleaning solution in his daily water that has helped keep his teeth clean without the need for expensive cleaning yet. He is 5 years old so that may be the future.

I went to this Vet because of the free exam after I adopted a kitten from Fort Collins Cat Rescue. I liked them and they seemed to know felines. I also told them what I expected from my experience with them since I had a terrific vet in Texas and it's been very difficult to locate one that comes close. They spend a lot of time answering questions and discussing their findings and what is going on with your pet. I wish they were not so far away from me, but I do believe that they care about my boys!

Recent "Thumbs Up" for accommodating the treatment of a family member's young dog who needed orthopedic surgery. The out of town surgeon needed pre surgery radiographs and a local surgery suite on short notice during the holidays. Even though Abby was not an established patient you were most helpful. The post surgery follow up was also appreciated. Thanks to your assistance our "pup" is on the "leash" to recovery.

As soon as I moved to CO. from CA. 8 yrs. ago I chose to bring my 2 small dogs to The Vets Hospital because they were in walking distance from my home. I wanted to 'try' them out, and have never considered going anywhere else since. Most of my experience has been with Dr. Carson and I have found her and her staff to be extremely professional with great concern for my dogs' health, friendly, and very caring. Recently I have been seeing Dr. Kellogg and she seems to fit right in with the same philosophy and ethics as Dr. Carson and the staff. The best testimony actually comes from my dogs...not caring for other vets in the past, but enthusiastically run to everybody there, loves the entire staff, and they even scratche on the door to get in when we are out for our nightly walks.

The Vets Animal Hospital is such a great place! A little over two years ago I brought my 5 month old black Lab there after I came home from school and found him injured. They did x-rays and found he had broken a femur after climbing over a baby gate and getting his leg stuck then falling (my best guess anyways).I left the care of my beloved puppy to The Vets Animal Hospital while he had surgery to fix his borken femur. They did a great job with his surgery. After many follow-up visits, re-xrays and some doggie downers to keep him calm while healing, Triton was back to new! He even had the plate that was placed in his leg removed six months after it was put in. The staff there was great with him and he still loves to go back and visit them from time to time - he's always good for them and does what they want him to do.Now Triton is a high drive, wild, fun two year old Labrador who does anything any other dog can do even after his injury! He does obedience, agility, DockDogs, and he's a good hunter to boot. He even recently had his hips and elbows filmed for OFA here and had no lasting effects from his femur. His hips were excellent and his elbows normal.I owe both of my dogs' great health to the staff at The Vets Animal Hospital. They've got an amazing staff that cares about the animals, a clean facility, and fair prices. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else!

My dog recently had dental work done. It was much needed, but expensive and I'm on a pretty tight budget. Dr. Carson was very sensitive to this, ended up giving me a large discount and some free product to take home. She and her staff were also very compassionate in their handling of my dog, who had been sedated and had pain for several days after the procedure. Even though I have only been to their office a few times, I stopped in last night (they also have convenient hours for people who work) and before I gave my name, the receptionist had found my account and referred to my dog by name.You don't often encounter this type of personal service these days and I am very grateful to have found Dr. Carson and The Vets Animal Hospital to care for my dog.
