If my review was based solely on the staff's knowledge and genuine care for animals, I would give five stars. Unfortunately, there are other key factors that impacted my experience, and it is because of these factors that our family will be taking our animals elsewhere. Upon moving to Windsor, my husband and I decided to try bringing both of our animals (dog & cat) to Garden Valley. The cost of our visit was more than any other vet we had every experienced (nearly, $400 including various supplements we were strongly-pushed toward by staff). My husband immediately wanted to go elsewhere, but I convinced him to give a second chance with our cat because the vets are obviously caring and knowledgable. Again, the cost of a visit with our completely healthy cat was nearly $500 with blood testing (we were there we were assured that this is normal practice, apparently not after consulting other vets and pet owners). While there, I was constantly pushed to perform more tests and purchase more supplements. I am someone who has a difficult time saying no when I am told that I should do something for my animals, as I want to give them the best. If you are able to stand your ground and be firm, then this could still be a great vet for you. We wish it could have worked out. Read Less
