I've taken my dog here for 8 years. I'm entirely comfortable with any decision Steve Feldman makes for my dog's wellbeing. I saw another vet one time when he he booked and also felt certain we were in good hands. The whole staff is caring and kind. Very thorough, thoughtful people. Always the same faces. People must like working there which for me is a statement of a good business as well as clearly a group that cares about the animals brought there.

I have been taking my Bichons to Dr Feldman and Animal General for the last 15 years . As a breeder and a Dog Show enthusiast , there is a greater variety of services our dogs require . I have appreciated the thoughtful consideration of puppy to geriatric dog care. Dr Feldman is a great listener and has worked with a sensitivity to my holistic leanings . Animal General was one of the first to offer titers to insure vaccine efficacy and to be current on vaccine research . The office and vet techs have been doting on my Bichons for years and they are very comfortable there . I appreciate the care and concern .

Dr. Dolan is absolutely fantastic. The care and compassion she gives to her patients are top notch, no matter how ill behaved (my kitty) they are! She is so soothing and comforting. I've been a patron of Animal General since the early 90's and would never think of taking my pets (children) anywhere else. From the front desk to the vet techs, everyone is wonderful. Kudos to all who make this such a terrific place.

Thank you! In a time of uncertainty, you where my shining light. I walked in thinking I was going to have to make a very hard decision. The staff was so kind, gentle and patient with my fur baby. We walked out with a diagnosis and a new game plan, something that I could not get elsewhere. We started to go to Animal General about a month ago, after moving to CT and adopting a second dog. We've had to make a number of visits due to vaccinations/illnesses and have been happy with the practice always being able to fit us in for an appointment and their opening hours (tip 7 pm weeknights). The costs are still more than I'd like to pay, but much more reasonable than many other practices in the area that feel much less personal and are less accommodating. Dr. Feldman is highly experienced and seems to genuinely love animals, the vet techs and assistants are always welcoming and helpful, and the reception staff are friendly and efficient. Would recommend!

Dr. Karimian is absolutely wonderful. A few months ago we lost our sweet cat, Bagheera, to kidney failure. I was and still am absolutely devastated, but Dr. Karimian helped as much as possible. She thoroughly discussed all procedures ahead of time with me, and even talked to me several times on the phone answering all of my questions and never making me feel rushed. She was so kind, patient, and caring. I highly recommend her as a vet.

Best veterinarian in the area! I moved 3 years ago and now travel 30 minutes one way because I can't see my pets getting better care anywhere else. I have had my fair share of health issues with a few of my dogs, and if it weren't for the staff of Animal General, I'm sure that they would not have lived as long as they have. If I could give Animal General more stars I would. My family has brought our dogs to Dr. Feldman for years now and even though we live out of state about an hour and a half away we still bring our French Bulldog Scout here. Dr. Feldman is just amazing and he is so knowledgable. And our dog loves him! Because he is calm, our dog is calm which I think is key to being in the Vet field. She walks right up to him and when he gives her a checkup he always says how cute she is and sometimes she even gets a smooch! Also, because our dog has recurring staph and urinary tract infections we have to communicate over the phone and he is always available and always giving us a call back to let us know an action plan. Also, more than once he has called in a prescription to CVS since we would not be able to get back to his office for a week or two. The staff there is pretty good too, but for us the star is Dr. Feldman. I even recommended a friend of mine to him who was having an issue with her cat and in a few months the cat is doing so much better and back to her regular self. We love Animal General!

my family has been taking all our pets to animal general for years and years now. the staff is friendly and all seem to really love the animals. dr Feldman can come across as dry and uncaring, but that's just his personality. my dog has reoccurring cancer and is now on chemo, so after going there almost every week for months now, I have seen how what a good guy he is and feel he genuinely cares about my dog, and really just wants the best for him. all the techs and assistants always great me and my dog and gush over him. they make me feel like they care about him almost as much as I do.

We started to go to Animal General about a month ago, after moving to CT and adopting a second dog. We've had to make a number of visits due to vaccinations/illnesses and have been happy with the practice always being able to fit us in for an appointment and their opening hours (tip 7 pm weeknights). The costs are still more than I'd like to pay, but much more reasonable than many other practices in the area that feel much less personal and are less accommodating. Dr. Feldman is highly experienced and seems to genuinely love animals, the vet techs and assistants are always welcoming and helpful, and the reception staff are friendly and efficient. Would recommend!

Dr. Karimian is absolutely wonderful. A few months ago we lost our sweet cat, Bagheera, to kidney failure. I was and still am absolutely devastated, but Dr. Karimian helped as much as possible. She thoroughly discussed all procedures ahead of time with me, and even talked to me several times on the phone answering all of my questions and never making me feel rushed. She was so kind, patient, and caring. I highly recommend her as a vet.

He is a dedicated physician and advocates for his patients with unmistakable passion and a determination to safeguard their well-being. As a pet owner of many years' standing, I wholeheartedly recommend him. You cannot take better care of your animal companion than to entrust its medical needs to Steve.

Best veterinarian in the area! I moved 3 years ago and now travel 30 minutes one way because I can't see my pets getting better care anywhere else. I have had my fair share of health issues with a few of my dogs, and if it weren't for the staff of Animal General, I'm sure that they would not have lived as long as they have. Many thanks for all your hard work in keeping my pets as healthy as possible.

If I could give Animal General more stars I would. My family has brought our dogs to Dr. Feldman for years now and even though we live out of state about an hour and a half away we still bring our French Bulldog Scout here. Dr. Feldman is just amazing and he is so knowledgable. And our dog loves him! Because he is calm, our dog is calm which I think is key to being in the Vet field. She walks right up to him and when he gives her a checkup he always says how cute she is and sometimes she even gets a smooch! Also, because our dog has recurring staph and urinary tract infections we have to communicate over the phone and he is always available and always giving us a call back to let us know an action plan. Also, more than once he has called in a prescription to CVS since we would not be able to get back to his office for a week or two. The staff there is pretty good too, but for us the star is Dr. Feldman. I even recommended a friend of mine to him who was having an issue with her cat and in a few months the cat is doing so much better and back to her regular self. We love Animal General!

my family has been taking all our pets to animal general for years and years now. the staff is friendly and all seem to really love the animals. dr Feldman can come across as dry and uncaring, but that's just his personality. my dog has reoccurring cancer and is now on chemo, so after going there almost every week for months now, I have seen how what a good guy he is and feel he genuinely cares about my dog, and really just wants the best for him. all the techs and assistants always great me and my dog and gush over him. they make me feel like they care about him almost as much as I do.
