Dr. Tauro-Miller is always so great to my cat, she's the one who diagnosed him with asthma after another vet told me it was just hairballs; if I had listened to that vet he would probably no longer be with us!! She actually showed me the x-ray of his lungs, it was incredible to see all the bubbles from the asthma. The staff is incredible too, they're always so great to him, and to us. I will never go anywhere else!! Thanks guys!!!

I have found the veterinary doctors and staff at BVH to be very kind and caring , top-notch professionals. A friend personally recommended them to me years ago and now I can't imagine entrusting the health of my cats to any other place. A few reasons why: They understand the individual health circumstances of pets when making determinations about needing certain vaccines, and take into account titers when appropriate. They will do their best to make care recommendations that are both health and budget appropriate. Have a sick pet and awaiting test results? They have always gotten back to me ASAP and have even called in prescriptions for me when needed. Did I mention yet how they really care about the animals there? I find that they have very accommodating hours as well.
When it comes to end-of-life situations, I can personally attest how caring and professional the staff is. Anyone who has suffered the loss of a beloved animal will know how important the demeanor and atmosphere of the veterinary practice handling it with you is. I can't recommend Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital enough.

They listened to my concerns and took the time to explain every question I had. I have been with them for over 25 years and I would not go anywhere else. I feel like they are part of my family. BEST!!

Never had a bad experience here. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. I was reading a review someone wrote about it being expensive......well sometimes it is worth paying the extra money. I had a cat that went to Brooklyn originally but because they wanted to do bloodwork on him, it was more expensive so instead of doing the bloodwork, I transferred him to another local vet where it was much cheaper. My cat died three days after his neuter. I feel like if I had spent the extra money to get the bloodwork done at Brooklyn, they would have seen the abnormal bloodwork and my cat may still be here. So now all 5 of my cats go to Brooklyn and not once have I had a bad experience. I will always recommend this clinic.

I have always had wonderful experiences with this clinic. For a brief time, I used another clinic which was slightly cheaper and quickly found that they could do this because they provided much less care for our pets... and generally cared less about our pets.
From the "Sympathy" cards sent to us when our dog had to be put down, to the coordination of heart worm injections, (my dog hates the chew tabs!) ALL of the staff at Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital always seem to really, truly CARE. They also listen to me and show understanding regarding the course of treatment that I choose (or not) for my pets. I really appreciate the caring and non-judgmental atmosphere.

Dr. Tauro-Miller is always so great to my cat, she's the one who diagnosed him with asthma after another vet told me it was just hairballs; if I had listened to that vet he would probably no longer be with us!! She actually showed me the x-ray of his lungs, it was incredible to see all the bubbles from the asthma. The staff is incredible too, they're always so great to him, and to us. Although the outcome was not at all what I had expected I know he is in a better place disease and pain free with his mom. I appreciate all you tried to do and helping him go peacefully. Your job is not easy. He was a special little guy and loved everyone he met even his vet.
