I have taken my pets to Shoreline Animal Hospital for years now. I have never had a bad experience, and I will never take my dogs to any other vet. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. We usually work with Dr. Berman, who has taken the time to get to know our 2 big dogs- and never once mentioned their breed. With two VERY large (and friendly) pit bulls, it isn't always easy to find a vet who sees passed the breed, and instead sees the heart and soul of two loving rescue dogs. We left our previous vet for that very reason, and it was the best decision we ever made.

This is the best veterinary practice I have ever known. The two doctors are sincere, smart, and compassionate. I have had multiple dog emergencies in the past three months and every time, they make themselves available as soon as possible and always are genuinely concerned. They spend considerable time with me and my pet regardless of my lack of a scheduled appointment. They try to save me money where they can knowing I have multiple pets. I have worked for a vet and have tried many practices. SAH truly is better than anywhere else around. (Plus they love and support rescue dogs!)

Shoreline Animal Hospital in Clinton, CT is by far, one of the best veterinary practices around. Our family recently lost our beloved Maddie after spending 13 years together. Dr. West's compassion and support through the entire process was like no other we have ever experienced. It is an unfortunate day when we, as pet owners, must make that excruciating decision for our loved ones. Dr West and Dr Berman are committed to helping you through and making the transition as peaceful and respectful as possible. We just moved to Clinton this week and my Zeke needed to see a vet for a foot problem. Not only did Julie at the front desk and Alicja the veterinarian's assistant do a great job, Dr. Berman was very thorough checking Zeke's foot she also went over him head to toe. I am very impressed with the personalized attention to Zeke and his sister Lola. Thank you Shoreline Animal Hospital for making the veterinarian transition for me and my babies so easy! We will be back to talk with Holly about grooming.

We just had to have our 17 year old miniature American Eskimo put to sleep yesterday and my Aunt and my husband took him there as that is where we had been taking Keller for years. My husband was having a hard time with the decision but the staff empathetically assured him that it was time so he felt better about the decision. I have had nothing but great experience with Dr West and Dr Berman and their entire staff. My phone calls are returned quickly, they do not over charge nor perform/recommend unnecessary tests or procedures, explain their findings and concerns in detail so I understand and are in general a welcoming place ! My dog (despite having required shots there on occasion) always is excited to enter the building and leaves wagging her tail ! Animals are good judges of character and my pooch loves them.

Our family is so grateful for the care that Dr. Berman, Dr. West, and ALL of the support staff provide for our yellow lab, Sebastian. For the last 3 1/2 years, they have provided excellent care to him. It is obvious the genuine love and care they have for their profession. We are always greeted warmly, and our visits our never rushed. Whenever we have called with a question or concern, they have been able to answer it on the phone. We have had some emergencies over the years, and they have always been able to accommodate and see him promptly. Thank you!

I brought my cat Maple there for her first nail clipping since I got her and they were amazing! They kept her calm and they were quick and did a wonderful job! I even had a quick discussion with the vet and was suggested a supplement that has helped her significantly and has made her fur so soft! I made her follow up appointment on the spot and I won't be going anywhere else with my pets! Highly recommend!

After my old vet retired last year, I decided to make the move to Shoreline. Best decision I ever made! Everyone is so friendly (dare I say, even the front desk workers! This was lacking at my last place). The doctors and the vet techs are caring and loving with my boys when I take them in. They get down on the floor and greet them with a treat and a few comforting words to put them at ease. I wish some pediatricians had been this loving with my kids when they were little, it would have made for a better appt. Thank you for making our visits as comfortable as possible!

Two vets; both show genuine concern and affection for our dogs and cat. That's important. We want that in a doctor who is responsible for the well being of our 4-legged family. From dealing with mild poisoning (cat licked flea medication from our dog's scruff), to infected tooth extraction, we get the sense they care as much as we do about sending our pets home purring or tails wagging. Dr Berman and Dr West take the time to discuss what's at hand and the options to deal with it. It is obvious in those discussions they continue to pursue the latest breakthroughs in veterinary care. We are very fond of our pets and don't place lightly our trust in those who see to their medical care. They've earned it.

I found these vets when my dog had an emergency, and other practices closer to my home in Madison wouldn't take her. The office staff was polite and helpful, and got us in to see one of the vets right away. We saw both vets during the course of my dog's treatment: they were both kind, professional and competent. It made me wish I lived here full time so that my dog could see these doctors year round.

This location has had several different vets in the last few years and we definately like the present two the best. Although quite young looking they both seem to have a nice touch with the critters and put up with our cats antics with just a laugh and then took the time to explain what we had to do. Their pleasant demeanor made the visit less stressful for both us and the creatures.

Not only did Julie at the front desk and Alicja the veterinarian's assistant do a great job, Dr. Berman was very thorough checking Zeke's foot she also went over him head to toe. I am very impressed with the personalized attention to Zeke and his sister Lola. Thank you Shoreline Animal Hospital for making the veterinarian transition for me and my babies so easy! We will be back to talk with Holly about grooming.

We just had to have our 17 year old miniature American Eskimo put to sleep yesterday and my Aunt and my husband took him there as that is where we had been taking Keller for years. My husband was having a hard time with the decision but the staff empathetically assured him that it was time so he felt better about the decision. I could not go but I just want you all to know there the care you all have given Keller over the years and the great care you took with him yesterday will never be forgotten. Many thanks....

I have had nothing but great experience with Dr West and Dr Berman and their entire staff. My phone calls are returned quickly, they do not over charge nor perform/recommend unnecessary tests or procedures, explain their findings and concerns in detail so I understand and are in general a welcoming place ! My dog (despite having required shots there on occasion) always is excited to enter the building and leaves wagging her tail ! Animals are good judges of character and my pooch loves them.

Our family is so grateful for the care that Dr. Berman, Dr. West, and ALL of the support staff provide for our yellow lab, Sebastian. For the last 3 1/2 years, they have provided excellent care to him. It is obvious the genuine love and care they have for their profession. We are always greeted warmly, and our visits our never rushed. Whenever we have called with a question or concern, they have been able to answer it on the phone. We have had some emergencies over the years, and they have always been able to accommodate and see him promptly. Thank you!

I brought my cat Maple there for her first nail clipping since I got her and they were amazing! They kept her calm and they were quick and did a wonderful job! I even had a quick discussion with the vet and was suggested a supplement that has helped her significantly and has made her fur so soft! I made her follow up appointment on the spot and I won't be going anywhere else with my pets! Highly recommend!

After my old vet retired last year, I decided to make the move to Shoreline. Best decision I ever made! Everyone is so friendly (dare I say, even the front desk workers! This was lacking at my last place). The doctors and the vet techs are caring and loving with my boys when I take them in. They get down on the floor and greet them with a treat and a few comforting words to put them at ease. I wish some pediatricians had been this loving with my kids when they were little, it would have made for a better appt. Thank you for making our visits as comfortable as possible!

Two vets; both show genuine concern and affection for our dogs and cat. That's important. We want that in a doctor who is responsible for the well being of our 4-legged family. From dealing with mild poisoning (cat licked flea medication from our dog's scruff), to infected tooth extraction, we get the sense they care as much as we do about sending our pets home purring or tails wagging. Dr Berman and Dr West take the time to discuss what's at hand and the options to deal with it. It is obvious in those discussions they continue to pursue the latest breakthroughs in veterinary care. We are very fond of our pets and don't place lightly our trust in those who see to their medical care. They've earned it.

I found these vets when my dog had an emergency, and other practices closer to my home in Madison wouldn't take her. The office staff was polite and helpful, and got us in to see one of the vets right away. We saw both vets during the course of my dog's treatment: they were both kind, professional and competent. It made me wish I lived here full time so that my dog could see these doctors year round.

Although quite young looking they both seem to have a nice touch with the critters and put up with our cats antics with just a laugh and then took the time to explain what we had to do. Their pleasant demeanor made the visit less stressful for both us and the creatures.
