Dr and stuffs were great. Dr took time to explain things to me which made me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend this place to go.

I do love the veterinarians so far. they have been very knowledgeable and are wonderful with our dogs. Over all good place, knowledgeable, clean and we are able to get an appointment in reasonable times. a couple of the ladies that work the desk of the Marlborough location could be more mindful of manners when working with the public and empathy to pet owners* Id rather not mention the prices and nonsense behind that and billing. ~Id give 5 stars to Marlborough if the "billing" and desk folks were better. **the Middletown location is a FIVE star. they really have it all together. This place is horrible they will make your pet suffer made a appointment Monday to bring my dog in to be put down and because the previous owner had a bill the refused so my dog suffered for hrs until... Read More
This place is horrible they will make your pet suffer made a appointment Monday to bring my dog in to be put down and because the previous owner had a bill the refused so my dog suffered for hrs until he passed in my arms. Animal killers. Never again will i step foot anywhere near this hell hole!!!!!!Read Less

Me and my 1-yr old puppy have always been treated extremely well at this vet hospital! My puppy is a lab so she's very hyper and loves to jump on people and do whatever she can to get their attention to the point that I was doing a control hold on her and using a gentle leader, but still in the process of examination she still managed to be her rambunctious self. The last visit we had was especially bad as she kept re-injuring her paw so we weren't exercising her like we normally do so she had extra energy, the vet was extremely patient and understanding. She quickly diagnosed my dog and gave meds and advise. After a week, I can already tell my dog is on the road to recovery despite my dog's best efforts to re-injure herself.I would recommend this vet hospital to anyone. Read Less

I have been going to this vet for about 6 years. It is part of a group of 5 vets in the area (CT Valley Veterinary Associates) and they all share one centralized patient database, which is great. This includes their 24/7 emergency center in Middletown. That's the place you hope you never need but feel good knowing there is one available who has all of your pet's information at their fingertips, even at 3 in the morning on a Sunday.Back to Marlborough Animal Hospital...it is a smaller place with maybe 3 exam rooms. I exclusively see Dr. DiNapoli, who is great. She is kind, easy to talk to, and very realistic when it comes to treatment. I have felt that other vets in the past push lots of testing and other services to bulk up the tab. I truly feel Dr. DiNapoli calls them likes she sees them and always presents a range of options, talking about the issues with you rather than talking at you. I have (unfortunately) put a pet to sleep here, been through a surgery, and many many well visits...these are caring people and I don't hesitate to recommend them. I also find their prices to be quite reasonable, especially in comparison to some other vets in the area (*cough* Glastonbury).For a while there, delays were getting rough. As in, you'd show up on time and you would always wait 15 minutes until being seen. However in the past year or two, that seems to have completely subsided, so thankfully they got their act together regarding scheduling. The vet techs and front desk staff are all great and so sweet BUT...I do have one negative about the place. There is one woman who works at the front desk who always seems to be complaining. She is very nice to the people coming in and out but she almost always makes remarks about being understaffed, she is too busy and needs help, etc. which I find terribly unprofessional. I don't see any of the problems as a customer, so she should by no means be complaining to the public about what she sees as internal issues.  I don't let one Negative Nancy darken my opinion of the place but if anyone from the Animal Hospital is reading this...talk to that dark storm cloud out front, she is doing your business no favors. I've visited here once, waited 45 minutes past my appointment time and left covered in someone else's dog's hair. They did inform me when I arrived that they'd had a call-out and were short staffed, but I would have rather rescheduled as my cat gets very upset in her crate for such a long time. :( I won't be giving this office a second chance to see if this was a fluke. Read Less

I've been a customer since 2000. These folks rock. I've been there on the high days (new puppy) and the low days (putting a dog to sleep). The vets are knowledgable, easy to talk to, and compassionate. The support staff are great and obviously really care about animals. The only downside is price. They seem to have raised prices after they remodeled the building. Read Less

I have been going to this vet for about 6 years. It is part of a group of 5 vets in the area (CT Valley Veterinary Associates) and they all share one centralized patient database, which is great. This includes their 24/7 emergency center in Middletown. They did inform me when I arrived that they'd had a call-out and were short staffed, but I would have rather rescheduled as my cat gets very upset in her crate for such a long time. :( I won't be giving this office a second chance to see if this was a fluke.
