I can't say enough about Monroe Animal Hospital. I started there with my first kittie in 1999. I have never once had an experience that dissapointed. The both Dr. Berg and Dr. Waldo have provided outstanding care and follow-up. They are gentle, kind, and compassion with our cats and I know that they sincerely care. Best vet in town. Newly renovated inside and out. State of the art, Dr Burg the other vets and staff are great. Friendly welcoming and caring. Thoroughly answers all your questions. They treat your pet like their own and you like family. Drs. Waldo and Burg treat all of kinds of pets- we have been with Monroe Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Dr Waldo is amazing. She is kind, compassionate, honest, and most importantly takes the time to explain everything, whether it is in the office or after hours. She most recently called me after hours and we talked for more than 30 minutes about a procedure that I was going to have to have elsewhere. She took her time, to talk me through options and never made me feel guilty if I choose to go to a specialist for the procedure. She truly wants whats best for your pet too, even if that means she needs to refer you elsewhere. I will never use any other vet. She is 10 starts in my book! Read Less

I cannot say enough positive things about Monroe Animal Hospital.  I have been taking my dog there since we got her 2 years ago.  I have always been extremely happy with the care they gave to Lola.  The Dr.s are so nice and do not rush you.  They answer all of your questions in great detail.  And the staff is just as wonderful.   Always polite helpful and happy to see you.  We had a scare with our dog yesterday.  Lola had gotten into some medication(Tylenol).  We were pretty positive she hadn't taken any.  I called for some advise.  The receptionist was extremely helpful.  She spoke to the Dr. who was busy with another dog at the time.  We decided not to take Lola in because like I said we were pretty positive she hadn't eaten any of the Tylenol and she did not have any symptoms.  Then the receptionist called me back a few hours later to just check in.  Not only that, Dr. Burg called me at 8:00 pm to make sure Lola was still doing well and reassure me that since Lola wasn't having any symptoms she most likely didn't eat any Tylenol.  That phone call gave me the peace of mind I needed.  Everyone at Monroe Animal Hospital is dedicated to giving there patient's and families the best experience possible. Can't believe there are no reviews.  Our animals, two dogs and a cat so far, have been cared for at this practice for over ten years.  While it is a smaller group, two vets, both are excellent with pets.  They are a bit pricy but your pets will get excellent care. Read Less
