The doctor made sure to answer all of our questions and got our dog to feel right at home in a place that would otherwise be quite scary for her (shepherds don't like needles!). The waiting room is clean and welcoming, and the staff is delightful.

For two years, my golden, Molly, saw Dr. Kaufman, and we are so sad to have to switch vets because she is the absolute best. The office is inviting and fun, and the staff are accommodating. One time, I went on vacation and left Molly's shot records at home. They emailed them to me the same day with no complaints. I will miss this office and the kind, compassionate compare they provided for my loved one.

They take amazing care of my english bulldog! They are so kind, accommodating, and respect the concern I have for my dog if he gets skin irritations and other conditions. My dog Murphy loves coming to the vet, he loves jumping on the weight machine and loves the attention from the highly credible people that work there. If I ever moved out of New Haven and moved to a surrounding town, I would still make the drive to go here! Highly recommend.

I have been going to Westville Vet since I moved to New Haven in 2008, first with my cat and now with my dog. I never have to wait long for appointments and the location is very convenient. My dog gets very stressed out at the vet (nothing to do with the people - she's just extra crazy) and the staff and vet have been working with me to come up with a solution. It is still trial-and-error for now but the fact that they continue to be willing to see my very friendly but very stressed-out dog means a lot to me. Friendly, informative, helpful staff and vets.

We've been clients here for over 15 years and wouldn't dream of taking our dogs anywhere else. Dr. Aldrich and Dr. Kaufman provide outstanding care and their love of animals is obvious in every interaction. They are compassionate, caring and go the extra mile to explain test results and procedures. We've never felt rushed or pressured here. Debbie and Jackie are excellent support staff, and go out of their way to help with scheduling and billing, and they too give excellent care to our pets. VAW's association with the Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine is an added bonus. If you are looking for a practice that will treat both you and your pet like family, look no further, they are simply the best!

Both vets took time to discuss my pets and their conditions with me and to answer my questions. Their staff was very good at handling both cats, who were less than happy to be there. All in all, very competent and friendly.

I brought my cat here for the first time for a checkup right after Christmas. The doctor and staff were very friendly and loved my cat (and the feeling was mutual!) Dr. Kaufman answered all my questions and did a thorough exam - I didn't feel like I was rushed. The prices were incredibly reasonable. Overall I feel like I finally found a vet I love and trust and I am so happy!

I could not imagine a better place to help ensure the health of my cat. The entire office has a calm and caring atmosphere. Dr. Kaufman has been absolutely fantastic: extremely gentle, kind, and attentive. She and the entire office have been available and considerate in times of need, responding to emergencies and helping my cat as she was one of their own. I trust them wholeheartedly and I can honestly say that my cat is happier and healthier than she has ever been because of the Veterinary Associates of Westville.

I have been going to Westville Vet since I moved to New Haven in 2008, first with my cat and now with my dog. I never have to wait long for appointments and the location is very convenient. My dog gets very stressed out at the vet (nothing to do with the people - she's just extra crazy) and the staff and vet have been working with me to come up with a solution. Dr. Aldrich and Dr. Kaufman provide outstanding care and their love of animals is obvious in every interaction. They are compassionate, caring and go the extra mile to explain test results and procedures. We've never felt rushed or pressured here.
