Excellent vet, friendly staff, our dogs love them. Dr. Jeffrey has been our vet for the nearly 10 years we've lived here. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jeffries has been our vet since the early '90s for two dobies, a shepherd, and two terrier mixes. We've received outstanding service during that time. Once when we explained that we'd like our doberman's final hours to be spent with her family in familiar surroundings, Dr. Jeffries came to our home to euthanize her. On another occasion Dr. Jeffries responded to one of our emergency calls and opened his office at 11PM on Christmas Eve. This February when I called him at 1:35 in the morning with another emergency his office was open by 1:50AM. It's hard to put a price on that kind of service. Read Less

STAY AWAY - Dr. Jeffrey is a very nice man and seems to be a good vet; most of his office staff are friendly as well - HOWEVER - his wife Sherry is a huge problem. The rumors surrounding the office, are that the office staff are terrified of her and Dr. Jeffrey has no clue what's going on. It takes forever to get him out to see your horse. I have many friends who have horses and have had the same experiences with him - many have switched to Twin Pines or even to old Dr. Morrone. If you are a new equine customer - the office staff insist that they bill your credit card and it has to be on file. They do not call before they bill or send an invoice. And they bill late so you never know when it's going to post to your account - hello NSF fees. Also, I had a situation where my horse had swelling and sever skin issues. I wanted his vet out right away - when I originally called they told me Dr. J was off for the fourth of July holiday - understandable. But they couldn't inform me if he would be out the following week this was Thursday the 3rd. I called multiple times over the next week and got a variety of answers - but no ETA on when when Dr. J would be out, and the office staff continued to say they would return my calls and they never did - I finally received a call with an ETA on the 14th - unbelievable! I told them never mind I had found another vet. Also when my horse was moving to a new boarding facility I had Dr. J come out and do his annuals and Coggins. He came out mid May and I told them I needed all paperwork for May 31st - the day my horse was leaving - ample time. I called repeatedly as it got closer to my horse's move date. I kept getting the run around and promised phone calls which I never received back. Finally days before the move I called them and they said the vaccines weren't entered into the system yet so they couldn't give me paperwork to provide to the owner of his new barn. And Dr. J had his Coggins paperwork so they needed to get that from him. I was very upset - afraid that my horse wouldn't be able to move in without proof of his health and vaccinations. It's already stressful enough to move your horse, and you'd think they had ample time to get his paperwork in; I had reminded them every step of the way. In the end they never came up with the paperwork, luckily the owner accepted a phone call from his office staff verifying my horse's health. I finally received the paper work 2 weeks after he moved in - absurd. Also, another pet peeve of mine - my name and my horse's name are spelled wrong on all their records! This office just can't get it right - a lot of empty promises, premium prices and bad service - look elsewhere. Sorry Dr. J but this practice is a big disappointment. Read Less

I've been bringing my assorted cats and 2 dogs here for over 10 years. The staff and doctor are attentive, caring and medically on target. I'd recommend them to anyone!
