DO NOT GO HERE!
We have been going here for 3 years now and they know both of our dogs pretty well. They know our 9 year old mini American Eskimo has bad reactions to vaccines. They pushed the vaccines of us and didn’t pre-care for our one that is sensitive. She had a severe reaction to the vaccine and has been pooping/puking up straight blood for hours. We took her to the hospital and they are keeping her overnight. The vets at the hospital said the vaccines are unnecessary for these 2 dogs because they don’t go to dog daycare, but the Strawberry Hill animal hospital continues to push them. This place is a money grab and not only did we pay $600 for shots they didn’t need, we now have to pay $2,000- 3,000 for an overnight visit. Never going to this place again, highway robbery and we might lose part of our family tonight.

Our pets are long time patients of both Strawberry Hill and A Cat's Place. We could not do it without the fine staff at both locations, and of course the leadership of Dr. Santisi. We love Dr. Doher...
Our pets are long time patients of both Strawberry Hill and A Cat's Place. We could not do it without the fine staff at both locations, and of course the leadership of Dr. Santisi. We love Dr. Doherty at A Cat's Place - there's really none better when it comes to cats - and we have the utmost respect for Dr. Santisi for always going the extra mile for our dog, Marley, and making time to see him even when he (Dr. Santisi) really doesn't have the time. They work with us to make sure we can treat our animals with the dignity and respect they deserve, and they honor that these animals are our family. I cannot say more about Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital; the staff is so compassionate, so kind and so professional - we love them!

I've been bringing my pets to Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital and A Cat's Place for about 20 years. I was probably one of their first clients! We have been through a lot together - the joy of baby kittens and the sadness of putting old dogs to sleep. We've been through regular old infections and serious chronic illnesses. These vets have been nothing but caring and professional. My animals have received the very best medical care and I've received excellent guidance, education and support. I have particularly appreciated Dr. Jennifer Neal, who is so smart, thoughtful, and caring, all with a sense of humor. The office staff have always responded to my needs and worked to get my animals in as soon as possible. Their prices are probably average for this area, and they do accept rescue spay & neuter vouchers from some programs. All in all, I've had 5 cats and 4 dogs seen in these practices and I've been 100% satisfied over the years. That's a darn good track record.

I took my kitten in to be neutered, and the staff was all so helpful and kind, and Dr. Neil (who performed his surgery) personally called me to tell me the surgery went well, he was recovering, and go over basic instructions. I have never had a vet do that, even with an elderly (24-year-old cat) whose test results I was awaiting. The staff was so sweet, gave me a report on his behavior (a true gentleman!) and when I got home and had a question, they quickly answered and gave me advice on what to do. I will be bringing both my cats here from now on, since I loved how well they, and I, were treated by the clearly busy - but never too busy for the customer - staff and the professionalism of Dr. Neil, again, who called herself.

I am so very grateful I found Strawberry Hill AH! I had just adopted a dog from a shelter and she had been sick since I brought her home and needed an appointment on very short notice. They fit me in early in the morning before I had to work and took GREAT care of her. The vet, Dr. Dave was very caring and always kept me updated on my pup. Every person working there (and I think I met them all since I was there a lot in the first week!) is very caring and it is obvious they love animals. They continue to be very helpful when I call with questions and they have gone out of their way more than once to help me and my new dog. I could not ask for better service or more caring people!

Our dog has an allergy that is an ongoing challenge. I took her in to see Dr. Whalen who was very good with her (she was stressing out) and was able to review and make some recommendations to help us manage this problem. They are a very caring facility and were able to fit us in last minute on a Saturday without much trouble. What was really excellent was Dr. Whalen gave me 2 prescriptions that were "people" medicines and can be filled at any pharmacy. He told me that sometimes Stop & Shop will fill it for free because they have a surplus of certain antibiotics. I wasn't sure it was the case and sure enough I went to get them filled and it cost a penny for one medication, and $10 for the other. Where the vet could have easily sold me an expensive drug at the visit, I greatly appreciated Dr. Whalen's care and his suggestion to get a medication in a very cost effective manor. I highly recommend this facility to any pet lovers in the area.

I have never had a vet do that, even with an elderly (24-year-old cat) whose test results I was awaiting. The staff was so sweet, gave me a report on his behavior (a true gentleman!) and when I got home and had a question, they quickly answered and gave me advice on what to do. I will be bringing both my cats here from now on, since I loved how well they, and I, were treated by the clearly busy - but never too busy for the customer - staff and the professionalism of Dr. Neil, again, who called herself.

I would highly recommend A Cat's Place to anyone that needs a Vet just for cats. From the front desk staff, Technicians to the doctors, I could not ask for a better experience. Wonderful Crew!!!!

I am so very grateful I found Strawberry Hill AH! I had just adopted a dog from a shelter and she had been sick since I brought her home and needed an appointment on very short notice. They fit me in early in the morning before I had to work and took GREAT care of her. The vet, Dr. Dave was very caring and always kept me updated on my pup. Every person working there (and I think I met them all since I was there a lot in the first week!) is very caring and it is obvious they love animals. They continue to be very helpful when I call with questions and they have gone out of their way more than once to help me and my new dog. I could not ask for better service or more caring people!

Our dog has an allergy that is an ongoing challenge. I took her in to see Dr. Whalen who was very good with her (she was stressing out) and was able to review and make some recommendations to help us manage this problem. They are a very caring facility and were able to fit us in last minute on a Saturday without much trouble. What was really excellent was Dr. Whalen gave me 2 prescriptions that were "people" medicines and can be filled at any pharmacy. He told me that sometimes Stop & Shop will fill it for free because they have a surplus of certain antibiotics. I wasn't sure it was the case and sure enough I went to get them filled and it cost a penny for one medication, and $10 for the other. Where the vet could have easily sold me an expensive drug at the visit, I greatly appreciated Dr. Whalen's care and his suggestion to get a medication in a very cost effective manor. I highly recommend this facility to any pet lovers in the area.
