I have had several pets over the years, and interactions with several veterinarians too, and my interactions with Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital recently were among the best I’ve ever had. The staff was professional, competent and friendly. But equally important, they were compassionate. Compassionate with our cat, who was very ill, and compassionate with us, his owners. I highly recommend Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital. Many thanks and much appreciation to Dr. Satterfield and the entire staff.

I've been bringing my animals to Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital for more than 15 years. Dr. Satterfield and Dr. Pacheco are very knowledgeable and the staff is always helpful and accommodating. I feel that my animals are very well cared for and I always have my questions answered before I leave there. One of my cats has high anxiety and he is handled in such a way that always calms him, which is wonderful! All of the staff goes above and beyond and truly cares about my animal's well-being. I highly recommend NVH!!!

Staff & Vet services are very friendly. I believe for the required desk fee or “quick physical exam fee” is a little high considering some exams can be rushed and not very thorough. However, I know the vets and vet. techs genuinely care about their patients. Parking is available in the rear & can be tight, there are also 4-5 spots in the front.

Our pup got into antifreeze this week. We called them immediately and they were so professional and reassuring. They took him in right away and he stayed for about 2 nights. Went to Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital after noticing that the puppy we rescued had a skin issue. They were very accommodating and were able to get us in the day we called. The owner waited to meet us before we left and the vet whom saw my dogs wrote a prescription. Within about 2 hours of leaving she called to inform me that the price of the antibiotic went up to almost 150$! So she wrote another prescription and called it in for me. These people went above and beyond and I highly recommend them! I also thing it's super cute that all the ladies that work in the office call my dogs "kids" Thanks!

This office was so fantastic when our 18 year old cat became very ill, and we needed to put him down at 8pm on a Sunday night. We called all over and no office was open. We called norwichtown veterinary hospital and the veterinarian met us at the office and helped us in a horrible situation. Everyone was so kind. We since have gone this week for a cat with an ear infection and they did everything they could to help him, while keeping it cost effective for us. Great service, and now our veterinarian. And our cat is doing great!!

I was very pleased with Dr Satterfield and staff ! I brought my sick cat, Sage, to Norwichtown Vets and was happy to get right in without waiting for more that 3 minutes. I found him to listen to what I had to say, was very knowledgeable, and their pricing is very fair. I have since transferred my 2 other cats' records from our old vets office in town. DrSatterfield is available 24/7 in case of an emergency which a lot of vets in the area are not. I will continue to spread the word about the new vet in town!! :)

Dr. Satterfield is the best thing to happen to this place. He took on our dog, Bella, when she was in an emergency and treated her like she was his own. We were under the care of a different vet in town but since the kindness and knowledgeable expertise of Dr. Satterfield, we are now Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital loyalists. Very excited to bring our cats to meet him. Hands down the nicest vet we have ever met.

How do I put into words just how wonderful Dr Satterfield is? He came into our lives 2 days after Christmas, and at a very sad time in our life. My Mom had just passed 9 days earlier, and suddenly we were faced with the excruciating realization that it was time to have our beloved 13 year-old dog, Emma, euthanized. Because we had never met Dr. Satterfield before, I was pleasantly surprised that each time I phoned his office over a very short period of time, I was immediately transferred to him or he called me back within minutes. His compassion was evident in his voice, and I knew at once that he was exactly who we needed at that point in our life. At our request, we set up an appointment for the very next day...we needed one more night with Emma. When Dr. Satterfield arrived, my son(Emma's Daddy), my husband and myself were gathered around Emma on the kitchen floor, where she had chosen to spend her final hours. In the next several minutes, Dr. Satterfield's quiet, gentle and professional manner relieved our Emma's suffering and left us with yet one more beautiful memory of our beloved pet. We pet owners love our pets. They are truly very important parts of our lives. It is evident to me that Dr. Satterfield knows this . Dr. Crockett is a kind and compassionate person who took her time with me and my questions and concerns. She knew immediately my 17.5 y.o. cat was dehydrated, where my other vet didn't seem to know or care, when I would mention doing fluids twice a week, to at least start. Dr. Crockett suggested putting Louis on fluids and what a difference it has made in this cat. Her staff is very kind and caring also. They take their time with you and make you feel important. This was my first time there but it will not be my last. So very hard to find truly caring vets, in my opinion, who aren't out for the buck or have become desensitized.

I've been bringing my animals to Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital for more than 15 years. Dr. Satterfield and Dr. Pacheco are very knowledgeable and the staff is always helpful and accommodating. One of my cats has high anxiety and he is handled in such a way that always calms him, which is wonderful! All of the staff goes above and beyond and truly cares about my animal's well-being. Staff & Vet services are very friendly. I believe for the required desk fee or “quick physical exam fee” is a little high considering some exams can be rushed and not very thorough. However, I know the vets and vet. techs genuinely care about their patients. Parking is available in the rear & can be tight, there are also 4-5 spots in the front.

Went to Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital after noticing that the puppy we rescued had a skin issue. They were very accommodating and were able to get us in the day we called. The owner waited to meet us before we left and the vet whom saw my dogs wrote a prescription. Within about 2 hours of leaving she called to inform me that the price of the antibiotic went up to almost 150$! So she wrote another prescription and called it in for me. These people went above and beyond and I highly recommend them! I also thing it's super cute that all the ladies that work in the office call my dogs "kids" Thanks!

This office was so fantastic when our 18 year old cat became very ill, and we needed to put him down at 8pm on a Sunday night. We called all over and no office was open. We called norwichtown veterinary hospital and the veterinarian met us at the office and helped us in a horrible situation. Everyone was so kind. We since have gone this week for a cat with an ear infection and they did everything they could to help him, while keeping it cost effective for us. Great service, and now our veterinarian. And our cat is doing great!!

I was very pleased with Dr Satterfield and staff ! I brought my sick cat, Sage, to Norwichtown Vets and was happy to get right in without waiting for more that 3 minutes. I found him to listen to what I had to say, was very knowledgeable, and their pricing is very fair. I have since transferred my 2 other cats' records from our old vets office in town. DrSatterfield is available 24/7 in case of an emergency which a lot of vets in the area are not. I will continue to spread the word about the new vet in town!! :)

Dr. Satterfield is the best thing to happen to this place. He took on our dog, Bella, when she was in an emergency and treated her like she was his own. We were under the care of a different vet in town but since the kindness and knowledgeable expertise of Dr. Satterfield, we are now Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital loyalists. Very excited to bring our cats to meet him. Hands down the nicest vet we have ever met.

How do I put into words just how wonderful Dr Satterfield is? He came into our lives 2 days after Christmas, and at a very sad time in our life. My Mom had just passed 9 days earlier, and suddenly we were faced with the excruciating realization that it was time to have our beloved 13 year-old dog, Emma, euthanized. Because we had never met Dr. Satterfield before, I was pleasantly surprised that each time I phoned his office over a very short period of time, I was immediately transferred to him or he called me back within minutes. His compassion was evident in his voice, and I knew at once that he was exactly who we needed at that point in our life. At our request, we set up an appointment for the very next day...we needed one more night with Emma. When Dr. Satterfield arrived, my son(Emma's Daddy), my husband and myself were gathered around Emma on the kitchen floor, where she had chosen to spend her final hours. In the next several minutes, Dr. Satterfield's quiet, gentle and professional manner relieved our Emma's suffering and left us with yet one more beautiful memory of our beloved pet. We pet owners love our pets. They are truly very important parts of our lives. It is evident to me that Dr. Satterfield knows this . They all came to greet him. The office and treatment rooms were clean, they were prompt, took the time to hear my concerns and answer my questions. Dr. Crockett is a kind and compassionate person who took her time with me and my questions and concerns. She knew immediately my 17.5 y.o. cat was dehydrated, where my other vet didn't seem to know or care, when I would mention doing fluids twice a week, to at least start. Dr. Crockett suggested putting Louis on fluids and what a difference it has made in this cat. Her staff is very kind and caring also. They take their time with you and make you feel important. This was my first time there but it will not be my last. So very hard to find truly caring vets, in my opinion, who aren't out for the buck or have become desensitized.
