I have used Prospect Veterinary Hospital and grooming. for over 20 years. The doctors and all the staff are excellent. They are knowledgeable, helpful and compassionate. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets.

We recently became new clients at Prospect Veterinary Hospital, due to a decline in the quality of care and service at our previous animal hospital. At our first appointment, we were entirely pleased with all aspects of Prospect Vet. We were treated in a very courteous and friendly manner by the office staff. The cat waiting area, separate from the dog waiting area, was nice and quiet, and our two cats stayed much calmer than they had ever before done on a vet visit. They were each given a very thorough, yet gentle examination by Dr. Marie Eagan, assisted by technician Carolyn. Dr. Eagan took all the time needed to answer our many questions. All this at reasonable rates. Five star experience.

They do a great exam, always telling pros and cons of shots. Yeah, maybe they slightly push for some shots or tests but have no problem if you don't want the Lyme disease test or Bordetella shots. They always remind you when your pet is due for their physical and rabies. They also always address any concerns you have for your pet no matter if it is a bump found or problems with ears. They are great!

I took my German Shepherd here for the first time since we just moved to Connecticut. I had a great experience here. The doctor was very knowledgeable, technicians were kind and competent, and prices were very reasonable. They also offered a military discount. I will be returning here for any pet medical care in the future.

They fit me in when my dog was sick and my vet of 6 years said they were booked up for a week, so now I have a new and better vet. They also showed me how to clean my dogs teeth when my old vet was trying to get me to go for the 1200.00 dental cleaning. They told me I did not need to spend that and I could do it myself. I'm going to Prospect vet from now on.

I left another vet to come here, and I’m so glad I did! The Veterinarians are fantastic. They use their knowledge and experience to make decisions that have saved me a whole lot of money. I am in and out for regular check ups (and even an emergency that I had) in about 30 minutes. I rarely wait more than five minutes over my appointment time. I’m so pleased with this hospital.

I have been with PVH for almost 15 yrs now and 7 fur babies in total. Receptionists, nurses, staff and Dr's all of them are wonderful in every aspect. Everyone knows your name after a few appts & your pets. This staff and my family have been thru a lot together. Unfortunately we have had to send our 3 cats Ty, Eightball and Ozzy over the rainbow and the love and respect you get from PVH is amazing. They always have gone above & beyond, we are very grateful for all your love & compassion. Even though I have moved farther from them I will not go anywhere else. Our dog Chilli & our cats Lil Miss & Jade will be seeing you all soon. Much respect to you all & thank you for everything over the years <3

This place is awesome. From the receptionists to the nurses to the veterinarians, they are wonderful and very pleasant humans. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cats lives. They saved my baby, worked with me, explained necessary procedures and tests in a way that I could understand, and kept me in the loop between pre-op, post-op and recovery. Even received phone calls from the vet herself to tell me surgery went well. I refuse to go anywhere else.

We have been bringing our animals here for as long as I can remember. The staff is very friendly and kind and the doctors are excellent. I can't say enough good things about Prospect Vet.

Very friendly staff. Clean hospital and very informative staff. This is my 4th veterinary hospital and I am glad to say im staying with them! I have a ton of experience working in veterinary hospitals and I take good care of my dogs and I felt like everyone here treated me and my dog with respect. This was a huge reason I left 2 other hospitals always made me feel bad and pissed when I left. Prospect veterinary hospital does not make you feel like a terrible pet owner and I left happy! :)

I can't even begin to explain how kind, compassionate, and intelligent the staff are at Prospect Vet. They devote so much time to reviewing results, discussing treatment plans and options and were so good to me and my elderly feline when it was time to put her down. I recently moved to CT and started coming here at the suggestion of multiple coworkers and couldn't be happier. You guys are all awesome!!

Dr.Gruszka said this is one of the toughest cases he has ever dealt with.He performed a operation and happy to say he has not had a blockage since.Can't say enough good things about him and the staff.

I love this place for my pet care needs. I believe they saved my Riley's life with cancer surgery. They have been involved with his oncologists every step of the way and he is going GREAT one year out. They were there for me when it came time to help my GSD Bekky cross the rainbow bridge and reassured me in my decision to help her pass peacefully. The staff is wonderful and all of my dogs have learned obedience at PVH. Thank you all for the love and compassion that you show not only the animals in your care but their owners as well.

I started bringing my kitten to this office back in June 2008. My family and I were first-time pet owners and had very little knowledge of how to properly care for a kitten. Dr. Gruszka offered great insight, was kind and spent lots of time with my family. Happy I chose this office to care for my darling cat - shes 17 months old now.

We recently became new clients at Prospect Veterinary Hospital, due to a decline in the quality of care and service at our previous animal hospital. At our first appointment, we were entirely pleased with all aspects of Prospect Vet. We were treated in a very courteous and friendly manner by the office staff. The cat waiting area, separate from the dog waiting area, was nice and quiet, and our two cats stayed much calmer than they had ever before done on a vet visit. They were each given a very thorough, yet gentle examination by Dr. Marie Eagan, assisted by technician Carolyn. Dr. Eagan took all the time needed to answer our many questions. I left another vet to come here, and I’m so glad I did! The Veterinarians are fantastic. They use their knowledge and experience to make decisions that have saved me a whole lot of money. I am in and out for regular check ups (and even an emergency that I had) in about 30 minutes. I rarely wait more than five minutes over my appointment time. I’m so pleased with this hospital.

I have been with PVH for almost 15 yrs now and 7 fur babies in total. Receptionists, nurses, staff and Dr's all of them are wonderful in every aspect. Everyone knows your name after a few appts & your pets. This staff and my family have been thru a lot together. Unfortunately we have had to send our 3 cats Ty, Eightball and Ozzy over the rainbow and the love and respect you get from PVH is amazing. They always have gone above & beyond, we are very grateful for all your love & compassion. Even though I have moved farther from them I will not go anywhere else. I can't even begin to explain how kind, compassionate, and intelligent the staff are at Prospect Vet. They devote so much time to reviewing results, discussing treatment plans and options and were so good to me and my elderly feline when it was time to put her down.
