Dr. Ball and staff take great care of our kitties! They are gentle and very friendly. It's great to have a place for cats like this. Previously we brought our cats to a different vet, which was great but they worked with all animals so the kitties would get super upset. They still don't enjoy going but they don't mind it as much because when they get to Cats Corner , they get all the hugs and pettings ever!

I can’t think of one negative thing to say about Dr. Ball and her staff. I’ve been coming here since she opened her original practice in Southbury, and she’s extremely knowledgeable, explains everything and answers any questions I may have before undertaking any procedures.
Her staff is professional, competent, helpful and caring.
I also board my cats here and can go away knowing they are in good hands.

I won't take my cat anywhere else! They saved my cat Rupert's life when no one else would give me the time of day. The staff couldn't be nicer and they always go above and beyond to make their patients and cat parents at home and well informed. Dr. Ball knows cats inside and out and has even gone to wildlife rescues to care for big cats! How cool is that?! They also have worked with the Meriden Humane Society and if the people who run the shelter are willing to drive to this area for better care for their cats, that should speak volumes. I've waxed poetic about this veterinary practice on Yelp and I will gush about this place to anyone who asks.

We had just moved to CT. I had researched Vets before the move, and thankfully had found Cat's Corner. My older cat became very ill, and we called and the staff and vet saved him by removing a huge obstruction from his belly. They were all wonderful and amazing. He recovered almost immediately, and now he and our other cat are on a different diet which has helped them both a lot. Dr. Ball was knowledgeable, and very efficient. The staff were warm and so helpful. I highly recommend Cat's Corner.

Moved into the area not long ago and hadn't taken the kitties into the vet recently. One was having problems and I got a new patient appointment in just a few days and they spent a ton of time going over her and explaining what to do and how to do all of her meds. She was as spoiled as you can get at a vet. I appreciated the concern and attention a lot.

This place is the answer to all cat lovers' prayers! I have been a loyal client for about 5 years now and I owe them a debt of gratitude because they saved my cat Rupert's life. In another review, I ranted about how Seymour Veterinary Hospital unceremoniously refused to treat my cat when he hadn't urinated in 24 hours or so. After being rejected by them, I frantically did a web search, not wanting to resort to the emergency veterinary clinic in Shelton, and was delighted to see a cat-exclusive vet in the next town over. I called and instead of being told that I'd have to wait anywhere between 2 days and 2 weeks for an EMERGENCY appointment (yes, even Banfield, though gracious, said I'd have to wait 2 days) I was told, "When is the soonest you can get him here?" Within 2 hours, Rupert was seen and Dr. Ball did everything she could to keep me informed and cautiously optimistic. My poor kitty had to be hospitalized for a few days and I was delighted with how thorough and loving they were. They really treat every cat like its their own! The prices for treatment are a little high, and sometimes I wish they were more accommodating with payments and financing for things like dental surgeries, but that's a minor issue and in no way detracts from my opinion of this practice. Dr. Ball in particular is great. She even gives free advice when I bring a friend along whom has questions about their cats but can't bring them in for whatever reason. She even gave my mom free advice about a tumor that one of our dogs has, which again, she really didn't have to do, but she goes above and beyond!I now have to buy special prescription food for Rupert's bladder crystal problem, but it gives me a good reason to visit, say hi to the staff, and pet the practice's own semi-famous cat, Tiki, who's just an adorable love muffin!

I would not trust any other place with my cat's care. All of the staff at Cat's Corner are friendly and genuinely care about you and your cat. They take the time to follow up with you after your visit to see how your cat is doing the next day and will address any needs or concerns in the moment. Each time I bring my cat, I do not feel rushed and they always answer all of my questions and have helpful suggestions. The office space and examine rooms are very clean and well taken care of.

This is the Tiffany's of cat care. I took my cats there until I got dogs. Dr. Ball is absolutely a cat person and will be extremely attentive to every detail of your cat's needs. Do not hesitate to bring your darlings to her!As a previous reviewer said, her office has every up-to-date piece of equipment and all the latest technology.If you have any questions about anything at all, Dr. Ball is always happy to walk you through every piece of equipment, every step of a procedure, every drop of medicine she recommends, or even just a thorough tour of the boarding area. She is patient and wants you to be informed and confident in the treatment of your cat.The only thing to be aware of is that procedures in this office can be somewhat pricier than other vets. This is because everything is state-of-the-art and again, she will spend all the time it takes explaining the difference in prices and why, and what the actual differences will be for your cat.The only reason I don't go here any more is because it's too difficult to manage two vets (I have 5 animals and some are dogs), so now I go to Sherman Hill Animal Hospital in Woodbury and they're also fabulous! But if you only have cats they will get absolutely amazing treatment at Cat's Corner!

I've been taking my cats to Cat's Corner for almost 2 years and everyone there is so patient and caring. My cats don't mind terribly going to the vet and they're both actually really calm in the exam room. The vet techs and the dr's clearly, truly, enjoy and care for cats. If I have any questions or issues the staff are more than willing to take the time to explain things or to consider various methods for treating illnesses. Their prices are reasonable and they have good hours, too. I would definitely recommend Cat's Corner to anyone looking for a place to bring their cat(s).

The prices here are high, but the care is the best I've ever received from any vet I have ever been to before. Dr. Ball was the first veterinarian out of six prior who have seen my cats to properly diagnose and effectively treat them after years of improper and/or ineffective treatments. She also corrected the mistakes of previous vets who performed very poor dental surgery, and my cat at 13 years old is now the healthiest, happiest, and most pain free he has ever been in his life. The entire staff is wonderful and always friendly and welcoming, and even helped keep my fidgety 3 (now 4) year old happy and entertained. Visiting the exceptionally clean, bright and cheery clinic is always a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Cat's Corner to anyone who wants to keep their cats as healthy as possible for as long as possible.

One hundred percent best Kitty Veterinary Hospital out there!!! I have posted a couple reviews/messages before, so I'll try to keep this one short & sweet. I adopted Che and because of a few medical issues he has had, landed myself and he at Cats Corner with Dr. Ball about a year and a half (almost) ago. Dr. Ball and her staff are amazing with Che and with explaining any type of veterinary service. They truly care about the kitties in their care, from the moment you walk in to kitty staying over, to medical procedures, etc. I will always recommend Cat's Corner to anyone who lives in the area & who is in need of fabulous care for their kitty! A very trustworthy and loving doctor and staff for your kitty!!

My boyfriend and I recently adopted a kitten that was in tough living conditions. We had no idea how old she was or what type of care she needed. Our kitten Fenny became a member of our family very fast and we only wanted the best care for her. While browsing online I was interested in a cat's only vet. I was expecting the bill to be outrageous, but I was wrong. Not only are the prices are reasonable but the care that the Dr. and her associates provided came with no price tag when it came to are precious family member. The Dr. and her associates were extremely aware of how much she meant to us and even treated her as if she was her own animal. They took pictures of her to keep on her file, clipped her nails for free, and even offered us a care package with everything you need to know about cats including food and diet tips. I have had animals in the past and I have never met a Veterinarian that enjoyed her job that much and provided care to the animal with offering assurance to the owners. I would recommend this vet to anyone who is looking for care for their cat.

My older cat became very ill, and we called and the staff and vet saved him by removing a huge obstruction from his belly. They were all wonderful and amazing. He recovered almost immediately, and now he and our other cat are on a different diet which has helped them both a lot. Dr. Ball was knowledgeable, and very efficient. The staff were warm and so helpful. I highly recommend Cat's Corner.

Moved into the area not long ago and hadn't taken the kitties into the vet recently. One was having problems and I got a new patient appointment in just a few days and they spent a ton of time going over her and explaining what to do and how to do all of her meds. She was as spoiled as you can get at a vet. I appreciated the concern and attention a lot.

This place is the answer to all cat lovers' prayers! I have been a loyal client for about 5 years now and I owe them a debt of gratitude because they saved my cat Rupert's life. In another review, I ranted about how Seymour Veterinary Hospital unceremoniously refused to treat my cat when he hadn't urinated in 24 hours or so. After being rejected by them, I frantically did a web search, not wanting to resort to the emergency veterinary clinic in Shelton, and was delighted to see a cat-exclusive vet in the next town over. I called and instead of being told that I'd have to wait anywhere between 2 days and 2 weeks for an EMERGENCY appointment (yes, even Banfield, though gracious, said I'd have to wait 2 days) I was told, "When is the soonest you can get him here?" Within 2 hours, Rupert was seen and Dr. Ball did everything she could to keep me informed and cautiously optimistic. My poor kitty had to be hospitalized for a few days and I was delighted with how thorough and loving they were. They really treat every cat like its their own! The prices for treatment are a little high, and sometimes I wish they were more accommodating with payments and financing for things like dental surgeries, but that's a minor issue and in no way detracts from my opinion of this practice. Dr. Ball in particular is great. She even gives free advice when I bring a friend along whom has questions about their cats but can't bring them in for whatever reason. She even gave my mom free advice about a tumor that one of our dogs has, which again, she really didn't have to do, but she goes above and beyond!I now have to buy special prescription food for Rupert's bladder crystal problem, but it gives me a good reason to visit, say hi to the staff, and pet the practice's own semi-famous cat, Tiki, who's just an adorable love muffin!

I would not trust any other place with my cat's care. All of the staff at Cat's Corner are friendly and genuinely care about you and your cat. They take the time to follow up with you after your visit to see how your cat is doing the next day and will address any needs or concerns in the moment. Each time I bring my cat, I do not feel rushed and they always answer all of my questions and have helpful suggestions. The office space and examine rooms are very clean and well taken care of.

Do not hesitate to bring your darlings to her!As a previous reviewer said, her office has every up-to-date piece of equipment and all the latest technology.If you have any questions about anything at all, Dr. Ball is always happy to walk you through every piece of equipment, every step of a procedure, every drop of medicine she recommends, or even just a thorough tour of the boarding area. She is patient and wants you to be informed and confident in the treatment of your cat.The only thing to be aware of is that procedures in this office can be somewhat pricier than other vets. This is because everything is state-of-the-art and again, she will spend all the time it takes explaining the difference in prices and why, and what the actual differences will be for your cat.The only reason I don't go here any more is because it's too difficult to manage two vets (I have 5 animals and some are dogs), so now I go to Sherman Hill Animal Hospital in Woodbury and they're also fabulous! But if you only have cats they will get absolutely amazing treatment at Cat's Corner!

I've been taking my cats to Cat's Corner for almost 2 years and everyone there is so patient and caring. My cats don't mind terribly going to the vet and they're both actually really calm in the exam room. The vet techs and the dr's clearly, truly, enjoy and care for cats. If I have any questions or issues the staff are more than willing to take the time to explain things or to consider various methods for treating illnesses. Their prices are reasonable and they have good hours, too. I would definitely recommend Cat's Corner to anyone looking for a place to bring their cat(s).

The prices here are high, but the care is the best I've ever received from any vet I have ever been to before. Dr. Ball was the first veterinarian out of six prior who have seen my cats to properly diagnose and effectively treat them after years of improper and/or ineffective treatments. She also corrected the mistakes of previous vets who performed very poor dental surgery, and my cat at 13 years old is now the healthiest, happiest, and most pain free he has ever been in his life. The entire staff is wonderful and always friendly and welcoming, and even helped keep my fidgety 3 (now 4) year old happy and entertained. Visiting the exceptionally clean, bright and cheery clinic is always a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Cat's Corner to anyone who wants to keep their cats as healthy as possible for as long as possible.

One hundred percent best Kitty Veterinary Hospital out there!!! I have posted a couple reviews/messages before, so I'll try to keep this one short & sweet. I adopted Che and because of a few medical issues he has had, landed myself and he at Cats Corner with Dr. Ball about a year and a half (almost) ago. Dr. Ball and her staff are amazing with Che and with explaining any type of veterinary service. They truly care about the kitties in their care, from the moment you walk in to kitty staying over, to medical procedures, etc. I will always recommend Cat's Corner to anyone who lives in the area & who is in need of fabulous care for their kitty! A very trustworthy and loving doctor and staff for your kitty!!

My boyfriend and I recently adopted a kitten that was in tough living conditions. We had no idea how old she was or what type of care she needed. Our kitten Fenny became a member of our family very fast and we only wanted the best care for her. While browsing online I was interested in a cat's only vet. I was expecting the bill to be outrageous, but I was wrong. Not only are the prices are reasonable but the care that the Dr. and her associates provided came with no price tag when it came to are precious family member. The Dr. and her associates were extremely aware of how much she meant to us and even treated her as if she was her own animal. They took pictures of her to keep on her file, clipped her nails for free, and even offered us a care package with everything you need to know about cats including food and diet tips. I have had animals in the past and I have never met a Veterinarian that enjoyed her job that much and provided care to the animal with offering assurance to the owners. I would recommend this vet to anyone who is looking for care for their cat.
