The AHOGS has been our vet for the past two+ years. We've had a few incidents of miscommunications in the past, but I've simply let them go as human error. Things like booking appointments for vaccinations that had already been given and should have been recorded, giving a bordatella vacc and not registering it in their system etc. We titer for parvo and distemper, and even with a sufficient titer, they continued to say we needed to revacc him for them - another error with them reading/updating their system. Other than that, Dr Lovers & Dr Aberle have both been great with our dog , who is terrified of going to the vet. Today however, we had an appointment for his Lyme vaccine. My husband paid the bill and left the office. I was looking at the receipt in the car, and I notice we were charged for a lepto vacc. I tell him to go in and make sure that it's Lyme they gave him, that it's recorded correctly in their system, and to pay the difference. He comes back out and tells me that they accidentally gave the dog a lepto vacc, even though he JUST had one three weeks ago!? Dr Aberle apologized, and said that they normally booster anyways so it's not a big deal, even though that's a blatant lie. A booster given after three weeks in an adult dog? I'm extremely disappointed in this lack of care, and attention to detail, and will obviously be looking for a new vet. If you're going to use AHOGS, make sure that you are well aware of what they are giving your animals before they do so. Read Less

We recently started bringing our cat here to, they couldn't be nicer, and when we were having an emergency, they were able to take us without delay.
