I have been going to Dr. Piper and Dr. Wong for 30 years and love them, as well as their staff. They treat my animals with care as if it were their own pets. They work hard to give them the best vet care. They also answer questions and explain everything thoroughly. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful and caring.

Best vet ever. Been going to Dr.Pieper with all my labs, since 1993...and now with my schnauzer and jack Russell terrier...he’s a great guy. Staff is wonderful also....

Be careful if your pet is dying and you don’t have an appointment!
I’m not a client, nor will I ever be. I am a client at the hospital that your inept and heartless receptionist sent a distraught woman and her dying cat to this morning. Yes, they refused service for a walk in client with a dying animal. Oh, did I mention she also had her young son with her?
The reasons I was given when I called and spoke to the receptionist included the following: “The doctor was not in yet”, “The doctor is overbooked with emergency surgeries”, “I’m new, I panicked, I didn’t know what else to do”
So you refer someone to another hospital and hope for the best? I hope you are able to sleep at night. Rest assured that the woman, her son and her cat were treated with kindness and respect at the vet you pushed her off on. She told me that she has other cats and will be bringing them to that vet - so, you lost a client.
Your front desk staff need a lesson in kindness and compassion.

We are so thrilled with our experiences with Drs Piper and Wong. The entire staff is welcoming warm, pleasant and knowledgeable. The office staff is great always greeting you with a smile. The techs are patient and understanding with scared pets. Both Dr Piper and Dr Wong are wonderful. They never rush through this appointment and answer all of your questions and concerns. They have a great reputation for being the best.

Had a family of 5 black cats took them to Piper and they all came.down with felines aids and.feline and.lukemia there is a girl.that gothip she was evil .all my dogs and cats I brought there got sick.And Dr. Piper gives expired distemper shots I confirmed.in front of him in front of mydaughter never since then have I ever went back there .as I was leaving doctor Piper ask if we were straight now because he didn't want to get in trouble all my animals had been tested with other vets and they were all healthy my dog was vomiting for months after giving her something that was suppose to be a distemper shot there a lady that work there when I came a couple times I knew her from another vet she quit after I went there after finding out what he did to my cats

This vet is one special man . Doctor piper not only has amazing bed side manor with the people and the pets but this man has a heart of gold. I have a Guinea pig with a birth defect , he takes incredible care of him and treats him like a little person which I love . He talks to him like a person which as an animal lover I appreciate .. he kisses him on the head through the whole appointment and gives him all the love in the world . He never takes advantage and although Andy is disable he is completely honest and doesn’t recommend anything unnecessary. Truly cares about the Quality of life of the pet he treats. This man is amazing we need more people in the world like him . Thank you doctor piper ! We love you !!!

Don't go these people can't get their shit together made an appointment few hours later get a call they can't take any new patients get that sorted out (wife has been using them for a while so not new) get the doc says he IS taking new patients with exotic pets pay and leave few hours go by get a call and it's them they "forgot" to charge me for lab work or some bs and the extort another 65 out of me gave them my number and hang up 15min later another call they screwed up my credit card number and need me to give it again stay away I beg you

Dr. Pieper is amazing. When our dog trainer recommended him to us he said he was a walking pet encyclopedia. That description was spot on. We have been seeing him since we got our dogs 15 years ago. We moved to Oxford in 2005 and would never think of switching to someone else. He has a great bedside manner with my two girls who can be a bit difficult at times. Dr. Wong is a great vet too!

The staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. He is an anchor Vet. My very first experience with Barnum Animal hospital was June 2005. I bought my first bird and it was very ill. Dr Pieper was very honest regarding the probable outcome. My bird passed away at that moment. I was devasted. The staff called me an hour later to check on me. About a week later he introduced me to another patient who just had a clutch of birds. A decade later I still go to Barnum Animal hospital. In that time I've list a dig and another bird. During each loss, the staff and Dr Pieper would make sure I was doing OK. They continue to help me to take the best care of my "babies"

I have been going to Barnum Animal Hospital for 25 years. I originally met Dr. Pieper as my Avian Veterinarian for my cockatoo. Dr. Wong and Dr. Pieper have been my Veterinarians through my 14.5 year old dog Maxx and currently my 16 year old dog Boss-Chick and our other pupps Elvis(9), Styletta(9) and Daizy-Dotz (7). BEST. VETS. EVER!! Both Dr. Pieper and Dr. Wong are compassionate, knowledgeable, and have tremendous rapport with all my pets. When my 16 year old greyhound was hospitalized with Dr. Pieper a few months ago, he came back in at midnight to care for her. She passed away during the night, and he called us right away to break the news. He knows how much people care about their pets, and he respects that. Dr. Wong is the same way; she helped us through having to put our old kitty to sleep last year. You can be sure that our new dog and cat are patients of Dr. Pieper and Dr. Wong!

Dr. Pieper has solved the initial problem and we're currently trying to solve another. We're not sure the beardie will make it, but he's kept us hopeful we may find a solution. Dr Lou Pieper is one of the very best. He is caring and kind and treats your pet as though it were his own. He will do anything to ensure comfort and healing for your beloved dog, cat, bunny, bird, reptile and more. My first experience was with my bunny 15 years ago and now we are there with our ancient pug every other week. He loves her and kisses her and provides the best care we could ask for.Don't hesitate because the building is old. Don't be put off because he is direct. He is amazing. Just go.

The 3 of them are quite a handful.. but the staff there is very patient with us... thank you!!!! Im not sure about the post below but, anytime we've had an emergency, they have always been able to fit us in. I will never go any place else!!

About a week later he introduced me to another patient who just had a clutch of birds. A decade later I still go to Barnum Animal hospital. In that time I've list a dig and another bird. During each loss, the staff and Dr Pieper would make sure I was doing OK. They continue to help me to take the best care of my "babies"

I have been going to Barnum Animal Hospital for 25 years. I originally met Dr. Pieper as my Avian Veterinarian for my cockatoo. Dr. Wong and Dr. Pieper have been my Veterinarians through my 14.5 year old dog Maxx and currently my 16 year old dog Boss-Chick and our other pupps Elvis(9), Styletta(9) and Daizy-Dotz (7). We love everyone there. I highly recommend them.

BEST. VETS. EVER!! Both Dr. Pieper and Dr. Wong are compassionate, knowledgeable, and have tremendous rapport with all my pets. When my 16 year old greyhound was hospitalized with Dr. Pieper a few months ago, he came back in at midnight to care for her. She passed away during the night, and he called us right away to break the news. He knows how much people care about their pets, and he respects that. Dr. Wong is the same way; she helped us through having to put our old kitty to sleep last year. You can be sure that our new dog and cat are patients of Dr. Pieper and Dr. Wong!

Dr. Pieper is fantastic! He's been taking care of our rescue beardie, who has improved. We had taken him to another vet, who didn't try to solve the problem, just kept prescribing random meds. Dr. Pieper has solved the initial problem and we're currently trying to solve another. We're not sure the beardie will make it, but he's kept us hopeful we may find a solution. We also take our snake to him, and he's just as great with him!

I've never seen anyone but Dr Pieper be able to just pick my cockatoo Bella up and kiss her and hug her and not get a little bit of free plastic surgery. She adores him and has never even showed any aggression towards him. Any other stranger, forget it, they've all felt the wrath of Bella's beak. It's almost like he speaks bird! Dr Pieper, I love you and thank you so much for everything you've done for my feathered daughter!

Dr Lou Pieper is one of the very best. He is caring and kind and treats your pet as though it were his own. He will do anything to ensure comfort and healing for your beloved dog, cat, bunny, bird, reptile and more. My first experience was with my bunny 15 years ago and now we are there with our ancient pug every other week. He loves her and kisses her and provides the best care we could ask for.Don't hesitate because the building is old. Don't be put off because he is direct. He is amazing. Just go.

The 3 of them are quite a handful.. but the staff there is very patient with us... thank you!!!! Im not sure about the post below but, anytime we've had an emergency, they have always been able to fit us in. I will never go any place else!!
