Nobody does it better!  I've followed Laura and Pat and staff around from practice to practice for more than 25 years and wouldn't trust my dogs to anyone else.  We usually have 2-3 dogs, all rescues which often results in undetected illnesses/injuries.  Their diagnostic abilities are exemplary and they succeed where others have failed miserably, i.e., another vet said my dog had a stomach virus when in actuality, he was having seizures!Convenient location right off of 84.  There's no reason to go anywhere else to get your pets the very best care available. We have been with TVH for more than 20 years.  Starting with the previous owner the current doctors have carried on the tradition of excellent care and comfort for the patients as well as the owners.  I cant think of any service provider from any field that I feel as comfortable and confident with.  It is obvious that the good people of TVH are doing this because they love animals. The staff here are always so nice. They really care about the animals they take care of. When I adopted my cats the rescuer I got them from had been bringing them (and all her rescues) there. I figured it was easiest just to stick with the same vet they already had and I'm glad I did. They're always willing to answer questions and give advice. Long overdue thank you.TVH has been a friendly,caring  place to take our pets over the the years.We have had three  dogs over the years,and they have been our place to go when they get sick.When you walk in the door,you know they care.Our dog Scamper kidneys are starting to fail.As anyone knows who has a had a pet with terminal illness,it is devastating news.TVH and all their staff have been great,and Dr.Dugan has been doing everything she can to give Scamper the best care he can get. I've been bringing my pets here for about 4 years now - first, my cats, and then also my wife's dog. They do a great job taking care of the animals. They're always willing to answer questions and are kind and professional in working with customers. We have also found that their pricing for services is extremely fair. Some of the vets in the Tolland area are outrageously overpriced; we've always felt like we were getting a good deal at the Tolland Vet Hospital. Even after we moved away from the Vernon area, we drove 30+ minutes back whenever our pets needed a checkup. Highly recommended! Read Less

These people are so wonderful. I have brought my pets to a few different places, all were nice, but this is the place you want to bring your loved ones. I mean if you love them you do ;-). My dog got fixed, the next day she had diarrhea (likely in reaction to her antibiotic) and I had thought it was something more serious. They took her in immediatly, washed her, and proscribed her something new, and she's doing great now, and they hardly charged me anything. I was afraid it'd be a couple hundred dollars, but all in all it only cost anything noticable because I bought heart guard for 6 months, pet food, etc and it was still less than 80 dollars. Read Less
