Awful money hungry office . No compassion for your pet. Pepper had never been to a vets office. She was nervous . I told the vet tech and vet beforehand that she goes on walks but has never been inside someone else's home let alone a vet office smelling a bunch of other dog smells. They held her down to the point where she had broken blood vessels in her eyes. The vet made a condescending remark about getting my dog some training classes which I told her she is perfectly well behaved at home she's just scared and she just rattled off a bunch of other unnecessary things for Pepper when I went in there just to ask about having her spayed. She also told me to get pet insurance because it's only going to get worse. This visit cost over 200$ for my dog to be traumatized and her eyes a bloody mess for over a week. Then I receive a other bill for 20$ in the mail. I emailed them saying they made an error I paid for everything done day of. I also expressed I was unhappy with my visit. They asked why I felt that way so I emailed them that I felt my dog was handled improperly. Never received an email back they then sent my 20$ bill to collections?? Absolutely absurd. If you forgot to add French fries on a bill at a restaurant you wouldn't bill their credit card a month later for them. Horrible experience and insanely over priced. Quoted near 300$ for the spay and got it done at East Hartford clinic for 140$ and the vet tech sat on the floor with Pepper and pet her until she was calm. Dr Anderson at Vernon Town and country does not belong in her practice. On top of that they ran my card for an extra 3$ for no reason.

We were very happy in the past 10 years bringing our pets to this veterinary, but not so much now. We would see Dr DeRosa. She was very knowledgable and great with our cat. But since she left things have changed. The tech they have does not know how to take blood. Last visit it took her 2 times and this visit it took her three times to draw blood for a test. We are considering looking for another vet, even considering traveling to Dr DeRosa in Newington.

Incredibly caring and competent staff. I've been taking my pets since I've moved to Vernon (a little over 5 years) and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. They are attentive, organized, and every last one is friendly and sweet. I can't recommend Town & Country enough.

So many people posting 5 stars haha. This is a BUSINESS. I took my dog in with a skin mass that was actively bleeding and the vet tried to pull it off thinking it was a tick. My dog has never had a tick,ever. The other dog in my home would not leave the cyst alone,I knew in my mind that it was more than just a growth. Took him took bolton vet and wasn't charged for them removing it (this vet was going to charge 300+ dollars) turns out it was stage 2 melanoma by biopsy. Had to have surgery around cyst to make sure surrounding skin was healthy.
I told the vet at town&country he gets a highly effective flea,misquito and tick pill,yet she tried pulling it anyway..which bled all over my carpet. Took to bolton next day,they took great care of him and I'll stick with Bolton vet.

I have been going to Town and Country for about two years. Care is extremely affordable, the hours are flexible and convenient, and they always seem to find space in an emergency. There is always a vet on call to answer questions, and the staff is extremely caring. They always make sure to call back the next day if you call in with a concern just to make sure everything is ok. This is hands down the best experience I have ever had with a veterinary office.

I have been going here many years now. I met Dr Block through rescuing my english mastiff. He was in very bad shape but with her help and guidance we got him healthy. During this time I had 2 other dogs and moved them to this vet location also because I could alway count on them . I have since moved about 45 mins to an hour away with traffic but alway so worth it . I always leave there with such a good feeling . They take their time and explain things and always answer all my questions (which sometimes can be a little crazy). While I would always see Dr block occasionally I would see one of the other vets, I now feel so comfortable seeing any of them . From the minute I walk in with the girls at the desk I feel kind of like family . I always recommend this place as it is the best around . I have had to call them for emergencies with both of my dogs. They immediately returned my calls and found services for me after hours that were tailored to my dogs needs. From puppy stage to end of life cycle, they provide amazing care for your animals. I would highly recommend Town and Country.

If you want to pay more for a la carte add ons without being told costs you will incur beforehand, this is the vet for you! Veterinary staff is knowledgeable and kind but billing and front office staff are rude and unapologetic for their poor communication with regard to cost. We called prior to a visit to inquire about price and were charged nearly double for what the vet decided to do above and beyond the exam WITHOUT mentioning that we were incurring costs with every add-on she decided we needed. NEVER AGAIN! When we called to politely explain that it would have been nice to know what additional procedures cost before the vet decided to do them without our knowledge, the office staff person was very rude and asked what we wanted her to do about it. We never asked for any compensation or even a partial refund and were just trying to provide helpful feedback. I can't stand it when businesses treat customers like they are a dime a dozen. Hope this review reaches the dozens that also don't like to be swindled and lied to!

I have been going to Town and Country Vet Associates for over 14 years with all of my fur kids. The staff is always friendly. Willing to go the extra mile to help me. Dr. Block is a compassionate and skilled vet. They have seen my kids through puppyhood to senior age- dealing with any illness from shots, diets up to cancer. Their primary concerns were always the welfare of my fur kids no matter what time of day or day of the week.Having these professional and compassionate people taking care of my brood makes pet ownership so much easier.

I have been with this vet for years. Dr Derosa is by a mile the best vet i have ever met. She explains everything shots and why we need them and works with you. I have never waited in the waiting room more then 2 minutes. I have even started my own personal journey into veterinary medicine because of not only my love for animals but how happy this staff is to help and even just see my children. (My pets). I cant wait to be that happy at my job. As an accredited Veterinary assistant now and still continuing my education people ask where to go for the best veterinary care the answer is always Town and Country veterinary associates!

Dr. Block and the entire staff at Town & Country are truly wonderful. I have been seeing Dr. Block with my dog, Mika, for the past 14 years. They are always there - good times and challenging times, injuries and routine check-ups. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Everyone there shows true compassion, are complete animal lovers and provide the best in customer service. I highly recommend them for your pets/furry family members!

I called for an appointment for a stray kitten I had found. The receptionist was friendly and understanding and booked me a same day appointment when no other office would. Check in was efficient and my wait time was next to nothing. From the receptionist to the vet techs and the doctor they were very knowledgeable, friendly and addressed any and all concerns I had. Check out was quick, all medications were fully explained and gone over, and the total cost was totally reasonable. I will be here again and refer all of my friends and family to as well.

They care about their patients and their humans. They answer all our questions (even ridiculous ones) and they take the time to make sure your pets are getting the best care.

We were very happy in the past 10 years bringing our pets to this veterinary, but not so much now. We would see Dr DeRosa. She was very knowledgable and great with our cat. But since she left things have changed. The tech they have does not know how to take blood. Last visit it took her 2 times and this visit it took her three times to draw blood for a test. We are considering looking for another vet, even considering traveling to Dr DeRosa in Newington.

So many people posting 5 stars haha. This is a BUSINESS. I took my dog in with a skin mass that was actively bleeding and the vet tried to pull it off thinking it was a tick. My dog has never had a tick,ever. The other dog in my home would not leave the cyst alone,I knew in my mind that it was more than just a growth. Took him took bolton vet and wasn't charged for them removing it (this vet was going to charge 300+ dollars) turns out it was stage 2 melanoma by biopsy. Had to have surgery around cyst to make sure surrounding skin was healthy.
I told the vet at town&country he gets a highly effective flea,misquito and tick pill,yet she tried pulling it anyway..which bled all over my carpet. Took to bolton next day,they took great care of him and I'll stick with Bolton vet.

I have been going to Town and Country for about two years. Care is extremely affordable, the hours are flexible and convenient, and they always seem to find space in an emergency. There is always a vet on call to answer questions, and the staff is extremely caring. They always make sure to call back the next day if you call in with a concern just to make sure everything is ok. This is hands down the best experience I have ever had with a veterinary office.

I have been going here many years now. I met Dr Block through rescuing my english mastiff. He was in very bad shape but with her help and guidance we got him healthy. During this time I had 2 other dogs and moved them to this vet location also because I could alway count on them . I have since moved about 45 mins to an hour away with traffic but alway so worth it . I always leave there with such a good feeling . They take their time and explain things and always answer all my questions (which sometimes can be a little crazy). While I would always see Dr block occasionally I would see one of the other vets, I now feel so comfortable seeing any of them . From the minute I walk in with the girls at the desk I feel kind of like family . I always recommend this place as it is the best around . I have had to call them for emergencies with both of my dogs. They immediately returned my calls and found services for me after hours that were tailored to my dogs needs. If you want to pay more for a la carte add ons without being told costs you will incur beforehand, this is the vet for you! Veterinary staff is knowledgeable and kind but billing and front office staff are rude and unapologetic for their poor communication with regard to cost. We called prior to a visit to inquire about price and were charged nearly double for what the vet decided to do above and beyond the exam WITHOUT mentioning that we were incurring costs with every add-on she decided we needed. NEVER AGAIN! When we called to politely explain that it would have been nice to know what additional procedures cost before the vet decided to do them without our knowledge, the office staff person was very rude and asked what we wanted her to do about it. We never asked for any compensation or even a partial refund and were just trying to provide helpful feedback. I can't stand it when businesses treat customers like they are a dime a dozen. Hope this review reaches the dozens that also don't like to be swindled and lied to!

I have been going to Town and Country Vet Associates for over 14 years with all of my fur kids. The staff is always friendly. Willing to go the extra mile to help me. Dr. Block is a compassionate and skilled vet. They have seen my kids through puppyhood to senior age- dealing with any illness from shots, diets up to cancer. Their primary concerns were always the welfare of my fur kids no matter what time of day or day of the week.Having these professional and compassionate people taking care of my brood makes pet ownership so much easier.

I have been with this vet for years. Dr Derosa is by a mile the best vet i have ever met. She explains everything shots and why we need them and works with you. I have never waited in the waiting room more then 2 minutes. I have even started my own personal journey into veterinary medicine because of not only my love for animals but how happy this staff is to help and even just see my children. (My pets). I cant wait to be that happy at my job. As an accredited Veterinary assistant now and still continuing my education people ask where to go for the best veterinary care the answer is always Town and Country veterinary associates!

I called for an appointment for a stray kitten I had found. The receptionist was friendly and understanding and booked me a same day appointment when no other office would. Check in was efficient and my wait time was next to nothing. From the receptionist to the vet techs and the doctor they were very knowledgeable, friendly and addressed any and all concerns I had. Check out was quick, all medications were fully explained and gone over, and the total cost was totally reasonable. I will be here again and refer all of my friends and family to as well.
