Dr. Gay has been my family Vet for over 30 years. He is honest, explains everything, and has genuine care for animals. Prices are reasonable, staff is excellent.

Longtime client. Brought my dog there today because he had eaten something and was coughing and foaming at the mouth. I was told to wait for a little bit . Waited for half an hour and was then told to...
Longtime client. Brought my dog there today because he had eaten something and was coughing and foaming at the mouth. I was told to wait for a little bit . Waited for half an hour and was then told to go somewhere else vet could not see us today. I will NEVER go there again . Thankfully the dog is ok.

I've been a (for lack of a better word) 'patient' of Dr. Gay since 1989. As a dog person he has attended to my dogs since then. His staff has more than always been helpful.
Plus nice 'Book-For-A-Buck...

Don't call this Animal Hospital if you are looking for a new vet. Not only can they not be bothered, they won't even return a phone call :-(

Dr Gay has been our vet for 14 years since we need to Voluntown. He had taken great care of multiple cats and dogs from beginning... to end. There is very low turnover of the staff, which speaks volum...
Dr Gay has been our vet for 14 years since we need to Voluntown. He had taken great care of multiple cats and dogs from beginning... to end. There is very low turnover of the staff, which speaks volumes for what type of place it is to work. He is also a strong supporter of the community

I love Pachaug Animal Hospital and all of their staff! They have been amazing with our foster dogs, our rescue dogs, and our cats. Extremely knowledgeable and patient with even our toughest pets! When it came time to say goodbye to one of our beloved family members, they took care of every detail and had all the arrangements taken care of so we didn't have to worry about anything when that time came.

My family's pets have been going to Pachaug Animal Hospital for 20+ years. The staff is consistently amazing, and it is obvious that they care about your animals. They have treated our pets for everything from the routine checkup, to Lyme Disease and kidney failure. I can't imagine going any where else. Dr. Gay seems to have a way with animals, and people too. He is compassionate, and also honest about your pet's health and treatment options. There are veterinarians closer to my home, but I choose to continue going to Pachaug because I believe they are the best.

I love Pachaug Animal Hospital and all of their staff! They have been amazing with our foster dogs, our rescue dogs, and our cats. Extremely knowledgeable and patient with even our toughest pets! When it came time to say goodbye to one of our beloved family members, they took care of every detail and had all the arrangements taken care of so we didn't have to worry about anything when that time came.

My family's pets have been going to Pachaug Animal Hospital for 20+ years. The staff is consistently amazing, and it is obvious that they care about your animals. They have treated our pets for everything from the routine checkup, to Lyme Disease and kidney failure. I can't imagine going any where else. Dr. Gay seems to have a way with animals, and people too. He is compassionate, and also honest about your pet's health and treatment options. There are veterinarians closer to my home, but I choose to continue going to Pachaug because I believe they are the best.
