I really have mixed reviews about Yalesville. I have several pets, and my 8 yr old GSD was going to Yalesville simply out of convenience. My parents are elderly and my mother weighs literally 100 lbs. My 120 lb GSD drags her everywhere and get's excited, so I need to take him to all apts. He is a big boy. We did enroll in their "vaccinations for life program" which actually is a decent 1 time price for each year's injections. Some are not covered, but nonetheless decent. I have seen several vet's in the practice, and none of them wow'ed me was Dr. Frank Kostolitz. Every time we went for an exam, he took the time and patience to help us through any issues my dog was having. He even took out a book once, and showed us different type of skin infections (which my dog had at the time) and which my dog had and which others there were. We ended up never having any issues w/ Dr. K and he was always pleasant.I agree w/ other posters that say this place is like a car dealership. They do massive quantities of appointments, and they end up making you wait FOREVER to be seen. Every time I go, I wait at least 10 minutes in the waiting room, and another 20 in the room itself for the dr to come in after the vet tech is finished. I also do not like how they do not secure their computers after each use. I know this is not HIPPA for humans, but a little discretion and privacy for other pet owners is important. They leave the screen on and you can see the owners name, the pets name, and what time they are there. I could have rummaged through everything on there if I wanted to (this is just an observation.)My main concern came a few years ago when I rescued my 5 yr old Lab/Boxer mix named Flash. He was rescued from Tennessee and came w/ a very bad cough after only having him for 2 days. He was only 12 weeks old. We took him to Yalesville since they did not yet remodel and I at this point never had an issue w/ them before. We get there and they tell us that he was very sick, and not looking well for chances of survival. They did not call me to update me while he was there, and when I did call it felt like I was inconveniencing them to check up on him. We go from "dire straights" and that he was "hour by hour" and he was on a machine to help his breathing. We end up being so concerned and worried our brand new pup was going to die.The next day, we get a call early in the morning that Flash was doing better, and good enough to take home. I do not know where a dog goes from "critical" to "hey come pick him up" only 8 hours later. I guess that really put me off. Made me feel like they told me he was sicker than he was, in order to get an overnight stay out of it (and my credit card). The bill was over $800. I do not care about the money it costs to get my baby healthy, but it was very off putting to me.I am much happier at my new vet (I won't mention that here but you can look in my reviews) and I have brought my GSD to a new vet.
