Without a doubt one of the best place to bring my dogs for care. I am very picky about who I want caring for my dogs. Dr DeSagen is of the upmost professionalism. She is caring, friendly, and has a great bed side manner with my pups. I wouldn't go any other vet. Jason  the vet tech is also just amazing with my dogs. My dogs love to give him hugs and kisses. They are so happy to go to the vet. I have never had dogs who actually want to go to a vet visit. So that tells you something. This place is always clean, friendly, and welcoming. I did not receive services from this vet. The woman who answered the phone was a bit terse. She asked if my dog had been brought there before and I said no, she then said we are not taking new clients at this time and hung up abruptly. What she did not know was I just had a few questions... but I never got to ask. I will not be working with this veterinary service. Read Less

Not only have Dr. Mascola and her team taken exceptional, compassionate care of our loveable lug of a chocolate lab, they have also taken care of us, his family. As a new mom with a sick dog, I was amazed when Dr. Mascola went above and beyond to accommodate my need for a private, comfortable space to feed our daughter while we waited on doggie test results. We found Dr. Mascola at Petcare VS through the recommendation of a friend.  I'm so glad we ended up using her.  She is wonderful and so is her staff, very patient and caring.  When one of our cats contracted a rare illness and we had lots of questions regarding how it could impact our other pet she spoke to a specialist for us so we could have the most accurate information.  It really helped put our minds at ease.  Price wise I think Petcare VS is about average for the area.  Highly recommend this business. I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to write something about the services and more importantly the people at Petcare. I am the mom of an 8 year old chocolate lab who has been going to Dr. Mascola for her entire life. She is a loving and sweet dog but also a very complicated and scared dog. Everyone at Petcare, and most importantly Dr. Mascola, know how nervous Harley can be and they just take so much care with her and try so hard to make her comfortable. In addition to taking such amazing care of my little girl, they take amazing care of me! I am a nervous momma as Harley means the world to me and they just totally get it. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for being truly the best veterinary office around. I now drive an hour to get to them! I'm the primary take-the-boys-to-the-vet's-er.. Dr. Mascola's office at Blue Back Square is so conveniently located and has its own parking lot- WINNING.Ive only ever received kindness and amazing care from the doctor and her staff. Dr. Mascola is patient and has always been able to answer my nutty questions in regards to each pet. Each of my boys are very, very different and require different care (It's  annoying, but I can't help but love them anyway). I could go on and on, but it's not much different from any other vet's office (in terms of what to do, etc), but I will say that the patience and due diligence of Dr. Mascola's staff is very endearing. Especially so, if you have a cat who's constantly crying in its crate, a dog going bat#$)* and a cat who howls at the slightest movement.Moreover, I've ( frantically and angrily- haha) called multiple times in regards to my cats' and dog's issues.. and the staff has always been able to refer me to the emergency vet and also guide me on the necessary steps to take until I'm able to drag whichever ailed animal to the emergency vet. Dr. Mascola and everyone in her office is amazing. Best vet around! She made a house call to help us say goodbye to a beloved cat! Being able to have her come to the house made it a very peaceful goodbye. She and her staff are so great with our old shepherd who is petrified of the vet! I've taken my three kitties here a few times, and the doctors and staff have always been friendly and efficient. The business is in a converted house, so some of the exam rooms are a bit small and awkward, but there are plenty of windows for the cats to look out of while we're waiting for the vet to arrive for the exam.Be careful when you arrive or depart, as the parking lot has a single lane driveway, and there are often cats and dogs coming or going with their guardians. There also aren't a lot of spaces, but I've never had to park elsewhere. Read Less

I had to bring my cat here on short notice, and our usual vet was closed. They were accommodating, clean, and very kind and welcoming. Every staff person was equally friendly, and they all took great care of my fur-baby. The facility is lovely, and has a very nice "homey" feel. The charges were extremely reasonable.
