Stay away from this group! They will misdiagnose your pet's ailments and when you bring them back to correct it, they will treat you like crap and then say you were "late" for your appointment and not see your pet. Sent my sick cat home because i was 15 minutes late and they were "overbooked". There are far too many better veterinarians in the area to have your pet treated this way.

The car moved and the man chased the person swearing and screaming . He returned to the building as I was leaving. I would not trust my dog with whoever that was. We love Davis Companion Animal Hospital! We adopted a dog this year and she is terrified of going to the vet but the Dr's and staff are so good with her. They let her take her time to calm down and have helped me understand how to make it a good experience for her with lots of positive reinforcement. I'm very happy with this office!

I've gone to Dr. Davis for many years and he is the first Doctor to tell me when "Not" to put an animal down. He was honest to tell me that even though an animal had kidney failure, he/she still had plenty of time let and could live longer with medication and special food. He was right and I got at least 5 more years with my pet because of him.

When Dr. Davis met my Gwen for the first time at a few months old, it was because her back legs seemed sore and injured in the joint. After seeing a vet prior who seemed to think she pulled a muscle, I took her here for a second opinion where Dr. Davis recognized the symptoms of severe hip dysphasia immediately. Within the hour he had x-rays taken, a diagnosis, and recommendations to move forward with a total hip replacement. Now at 7 years old she is battling a second-time mast cell tumor under his care. He recommended us to an oncologist and has stayed in close communication with them throughout the process. He offered to go through with their treatment plan himself, allowing both Gwen and I to be more comfortable with a familiar team and office as she goes through 8 rounds of chemo, continuously following up with her oncologist. Aside from top notch veterinary medicine, Dr. Davis and his team remember how important our animals are to us and treat them like their own when they are under their care. He has even called me from vacation to check in on Gwen. I tell every dog owner I know about this office

Would be a lost ship at sea without this crew....I have been taking my animals to Dr. Davis since 1995, and the folks at Davis Companion Animal Hospital have done incredible healing work for my entire animal family....hamsters, cats and dogs! Great combination of hearts and smarts!

I've been going to Davis for years and I've bounced around with a couple of different vets in the practice. My mom, swears by Dr. Davis and prefers him over the others. Myself, I could care less because I don't want to wait to get into Dr. Davis, and as long as the other vets do a good job then I'm happy.
Recently, our dog became really sick (we knew he had diabetes but something else had begun to take ahold of him) and we knew it was going to a place of no return. I called up Davis because her vet a) wanted an extraordinary amount of money to put the dog down ($500+) and b) didn't really seem to care to answer questions/know the answers.
We obviously wanted him checked before we went thru this decision and as hard as that phone call was to make the customer service we received was amazing. Not only did they talk us thru absolutely everything, nd didn't treat us like we were wrong in our decision but they also got him in next day. The price for the procedure was literally 1/3 of what the other vet wanted to charge and he was going to be examined before the decision was made. Unfortunately, during that exam, we found out that what Petco (Banfield Animal Hospital) had told us to do in regards to the insulin being given, when to do/ how to do it and etc. was completely wrong!
In the end, the day went as we expected but, at least, the vet was honest with his opinion on what to do and what could be expected. It wasn't "ugly" and the staff was great towards us. I took care of the payment and they did everything quickly and as discreetly as possible. Obviously, no one really wants to pay when the procedure is done. When his ashes came in they still gave us the same respect. This experiences really opened my eyes to how much they do for their customers and for their customer's family members. Great place... I won't pick a different vet!

My cat Pookie received a rabies shot from Dr. Celella last spring and developed cancer in her hind leg due to the shot. I was told there are two types of vaccinations, one that is known to cause cancer in a small number of cats and another that is more expensive but apparently doesn't cause cancer. The type that does not cause cancer was not an option at the time my cat was given this shot and the risk of cancer was not mentioned. When Pookie was diagnosed with cancer, I had to pay over $400 to get the biopsy and was told that the only option was to pay another $1200 to remove the leg. I told the doctor that I couldn't afford $1200 so I couldn't do that. Now, several months later, we're getting to the end and I brought her in again. They have decided to stop using the cancer causing shot because three weeks after Pookie was diagnosed, another cat they treat was also diagnosed with cancer. I've had Pookie for over 10 years and I love this cat more than anything, and if I could have afforded the $1200, I would have done it. Maybe this is unreasonable but never once did they offer to work with me on the price for anything. In the next few weeks I'll have to pay to have her put down. It just feels like it adds insult to injury every time I have to pay for their services when it was the shot that caused all of this. And there is more that I don't have the time or inclination to go into but lets just say I'm pretty angry and feel the need to express it.

I can't thank Dr. Davis enough for the putting my mind at ease and taking such wonderful care of my Dog when I brought him in because of some concerns!! My Dog Dickens is a healthy 11 years old, and my service dog, he is my Everything!!! Due to a change of Vets at the Vet Hospital I use to go to, and no longer feeling that my concerns were being met but instead they were pushing unnecessary testing, I needed to find a Vet that would make my Dog feel comfortable and myself understood! Dr. Davis not only did you do that but you have no idea the feeling of relief I felt as I watched you take your time with my boy Dickens and me by answering all my concerns and questions, I can never thank you enough for putting my mind at ease, you Sir are truly an amazing Man and Veterinarian, thank you again and to your wonderful staff who were not only caring but show a true interest in all of my concerns!!! To me it does not matter were your Veterinarian is but who he is, and I am proud to say that Davis Companion Animal Hospital is mine!!!!!

I've been going to Davis for years and I've bounced around with a couple of different vets in the practice. My mom, swears by Dr. Davis and prefers him over the others. Myself, I could care less because I don't want to wait to get into Dr. Davis, and as long as the other vets do a good job then I'm happy.
Recently, our dog became really sick (we knew he had diabetes but something else had begun to take ahold of him) and we knew it was going to a place of no return. I called up Davis because her vet a) wanted an extraordinary amount of money to put the dog down ($500+) and b) didn't really seem to care to answer questions/know the answers.
We obviously wanted him checked before we went thru this decision and as hard as that phone call was to make the customer service we received was amazing. Not only did they talk us thru absolutely everything, nd didn't treat us like we were wrong in our decision but they also got him in next day. The price for the procedure was literally 1/3 of what the other vet wanted to charge and he was going to be examined before the decision was made. Unfortunately, during that exam, we found out that what Petco (Banfield Animal Hospital) had told us to do in regards to the insulin being given, when to do/ how to do it and etc. was completely wrong!
In the end, the day went as we expected but, at least, the vet was honest with his opinion on what to do and what could be expected. It wasn't "ugly" and the staff was great towards us. I took care of the payment and they did everything quickly and as discreetly as possible. Obviously, no one really wants to pay when the procedure is done. When his ashes came in they still gave us the same respect. This experiences really opened my eyes to how much they do for their customers and for their customer's family members. Great place... I won't pick a different vet!

We have gone to Davis for everything from well visits, to knee surgeries to tumor removal. The level of knowledge and compassion is incredible!

My cat Pookie received a rabies shot from Dr. Celella last spring and developed cancer in her hind leg due to the shot. I was told there are two types of vaccinations, one that is known to cause cancer in a small number of cats and another that is more expensive but apparently doesn't cause cancer. The type that does not cause cancer was not an option at the time my cat was given this shot and the risk of cancer was not mentioned. When Pookie was diagnosed with cancer, I had to pay over $400 to get the biopsy and was told that the only option was to pay another $1200 to remove the leg. I told the doctor that I couldn't afford $1200 so I couldn't do that. Now, several months later, we're getting to the end and I brought her in again. They have decided to stop using the cancer causing shot because three weeks after Pookie was diagnosed, another cat they treat was also diagnosed with cancer. I've had Pookie for over 10 years and I love this cat more than anything, and if I could have afforded the $1200, I would have done it. Maybe this is unreasonable but never once did they offer to work with me on the price for anything. In the next few weeks I'll have to pay to have her put down. It just feels like it adds insult to injury every time I have to pay for their services when it was the shot that caused all of this. And there is more that I don't have the time or inclination to go into but lets just say I'm pretty angry and feel the need to express it.

I can't thank Dr. Davis enough for the putting my mind at ease and taking such wonderful care of my Dog when I brought him in because of some concerns!! My Dog Dickens is a healthy 11 years old, and my service dog, he is my Everything!!! Due to a change of Vets at the Vet Hospital I use to go to, and no longer feeling that my concerns were being met but instead they were pushing unnecessary testing, I needed to find a Vet that would make my Dog feel comfortable and myself understood! Dr. Davis not only did you do that but you have no idea the feeling of relief I felt as I watched you take your time with my boy Dickens and me by answering all my concerns and questions, I can never thank you enough for putting my mind at ease, you Sir are truly an amazing Man and Veterinarian, thank you again and to your wonderful staff who were not only caring but show a true interest in all of my concerns!!! To me it does not matter were your Veterinarian is but who he is, and I am proud to say that Davis Companion Animal Hospital is mine!!!!!
