This was the worst vet I have ever dealt with and it is SO unfortunate. **PLEASE READ BEFORE VISITING** We took our puppy here to get her puppy shots - we went back a few days later because she wouldn't stop itching her eyes. The doctor gave us eye drops in case of allergic reaction. The doctor prescribed drops that gave our 12 week old puppy ulcers on her eyes that were BURNING HER and has lead down a whole new path of problems. She now (6 months later) requires a $2500 eye surgery from these eye drops. They keep saying they will refund for the visit & the shots and still have yet to refund us for anything. Not only this but the doctor REFUSES to come out and speak to us while we are there. I'm human - I understand mistakes happen but the level of customer service we have received from this guy is everything but professional. Nice people and nice facility. Found the vet herself to be very umpersonable the first time we went. Figured it was an off day but a month or so later I took my dog to be neutered and never spoke to her or any other vet that day following his surgery, at pick up. I also think they're a little over priced compared to other vets we've gone to in the past. Read Less

We've been to almost every vet in this city but this is by far the best. We love windcrest for their boarding but because they are a big corporate vet, we felt they were often pushing meds that might not have been necessary. Circle does not do that, and they try and help you make wise financial choices (like when I couldn't decide on flea/tick/heart worm meds).Also, my dog is scared of other dogs and Circle's waiting room is big enough to hide your 70 lb trembling pit bull. Another vet (well the receptionist) in town sneared at me when a lady had her dog off leash in the office and I asked her nicely to keep her dog away from mine. At Circle, the gals went out and made sure my pup could get to the door without other dogs getting near her. (This may seem like I'm "one of those people" but really, if my dog bit someone's dog, even if they were at fault, my dog would be in trouble bc of her breed.) so, I found it really assuring that the office staff took my concern seriously and kindly. I transferred my puppies to this office years ago. Do not get me wrong the Doctors ate great but in the last few months the front desk needs to learn responsibility and treat the clients with respect. My youngest pup developed issue with eyes so I immediately called and basically was told too bad and gave me an appt for 4 days later. I explained I could come anytime and did not mind wait and expressed my concern since it was her eye . Still told no we are leaving soon! I asked if could call any cancellations and told “we don’t do that”. I got call today asking if I wanted to schedule appt - I have appt! Well equipped, Dr. Wilkins and Dr. Allison are beyond awesome.  The staff is welcoming and the talent, second to none.  Couple that with reasonable costs, you have a great place for quality care for your pet.  I put a lot of time and effort into my dog, and I feel good knowing she is in their capable hands Read Less

I brought my dog to this location because he had some weaknesses in his hind legs. I was sent home with $200 with of medication to relieve inflammation. The following morning my dog could not stand or walk at all so I rushed him to the emergency hospital. My dog is now paralyzed and went through $7000 in surgeries and care. When I called Circle Veterinary to see if I could return the medications they gave me, they declined because he was given 1 dose. I will never return to this Veterinarian.Read Less

I switched to this vet after I felt my current vet was a bit expensive. I selected this vet because of good reviews and the fact that it was in a working class neighborhood. Figured it could not be overpriced. It was a great decision. The doctors are caring and friendly and it was much more reasonable. They do not gouge you for every little thing like my vet in the Bear Delaware area did. My cat had a serious neck injury and the follow up bandage change appointments were extremely reasonable. At the final one he also received another dose of antibiotics. My bill that day was $23! Read Less

Clean facility, professional and friendly staff.  I have taken my cats here ever since they opened several years ago. Lisa, my cat, does not like going to the vet for her annual check up and for any needed shots. When she see's the pet carrier, she runs and hides, so it is chase the kitty.  Once caught and at the vet, the staff knows how to make her feel relaxed. I highly recommend Circle Veterinary Clinic. As a 20-year client, I have brought at least 4 dogs and 15 cats to Circle Vet for a lifetime of treatment. We have experienced everything from standard health checks/shots to injury/wound care to the treatment and eventual euthanasia of a 19-year old beloved pet (and other senior pets). Circle Vet and its owner, David Wilkins, is a caring and knowledgeable care facility that loves all animals and combines practical knowledge with humor and patience. They regularly call me at home and follow up to check in on the patient after an illness. In addition to being aware of the latest and greatest treatments, they manage to keep costs way down. My friends and family pay (on average) about $75 more for the exact same treatment my animals receive. Their staff is caring and friendly, yet practical. My brother picked up medication for his dogs yesterday here and watched them turn away a woman with a sick dog crying because she didn't have $53 to give them. Even though she said she would pay for it and was holding her dog in her arms. My brother ended up going back in to pay for it so the woman could get help for her dog. Shame on them. I understand we all need to make money, but where is your compassion? I would never go to a vet that had staff that can be so cold and callus. Read Less

Worst Vet probably in the USA! Dr. Wilkins killed my cat he was just looking slightly sick when he came in then he over dosed him on antibiotics and he died less then a month after on the medication that Dr. Wilkins prescribed. Thanks for killing my cat and my dog now never going back. Katie had an attitude with my husband she acted like a bitch and went crying to Dr. Wilkins and he came out looking like he was on drugs. I pray for both of those people. I feel bad for them that they have to be so rude to people whose animal is dying and they killed. *Not just my opinion the vet hospital in New Castle AGREES* STAY AWAY from them is you know whats good. Was able to been seen same day with a new patient (kitten).  Nice space, cozy, quaint, warm feeling in lobby.  People were not as friendly as I excepted based on experience at other vets.  From what I understand, they are more afforable than other places though - all visits with docs cost $53.
