When we got our new cat, Lando, he was found to be very sick. Initially, they tried antibiotics but he did not respond to these. Dr. Haviland recommended we have him admitted as inpatient upon our second visit. We did that, and it saved his life. He has Calicivirus, but he is otherwise a kitten again! The staff called us twice a day to give us updates on his condition, prognosis, treatment and next steps depending on his status. We saw numerous veterinarians, vet techs and front desk staff. Each and every one of them was empathetic, and were never frustrated by our frequent questions and concerns. They will most certainly be our veterinarians moving forward. Thanks again!!! Read Less

Dirt bag doctors. They made us put our 4 year old cat to sleep. They told us he had a blockage in his urethra and was given the option to pay 5k with a 50% chance this would happen again. The doctor did not do any kind of exam other than feel his belly. There was no imaging test done to verify this was what was happening. We had to make the decision to put franklin our loving cat to sleep after begging them to let us make payment or something that would let him live. They refused. Worst experience I have ever been through. I'm heartbroken that I now do not have my otherwise healthy loving cat who brought so much joy to our family. Read Less

I called Windcrest to let them know I may be running late because I couldn't get my kitten in the carrier. I was told if I was more that 2-3 minutes late I would have to reschedule. There have been times when I waited for more than an hour to be seen, with no apology that I waited so long. If this was a sick visit and not just a follow up, would I have been forced to reschedule? The woman I spoke with was very rude. I will no longer be using Windcrest. Read Less

I scheduled an appointment last week and was told I would have Dr. Bell, since we never saw her before I did some digging and saw a lot of negative comments about her on here. I was really skeptical when meeting her and was on guard because my dog is my doger (daughter) no one can be mean to her!! I was really surprised at how nice she was. Dr. Bell was very informative and direct. I can see maybe in some cases it could be a little too much depending on the concern but for us she was great from the minute we met to the phone call about our results. Thanks Dr. Bell. Read Less

Dr. Haviland, the VT, Lisa and all of the front desk staff were amazing from beginning to end. They were informative and knowledgeable about our almost 18 year old kitty's health issues. The most impressive aspect was how much they care. We were given their phone numbers in case we had questions. Dr. Haviland called us the day after our appointment to inquire about our progress and we received a hand written card a few days later. They have helped our kitty become herself again and for that, we are truly grateful. Read Less

I took my dog with a hurt leg and long story short, Doctor White prescribed two kinds of medications. We gave my dog the first dose. The next day we realized that the number of pills marked on the label didn't match at all on both medications, making us realized that the pills were swapped so we were giving my dog the wrong doses. We went back next day to have it corrected. They realized the person that filled the prescription made a mistake and gave me back the medicine supposedly corrected. Then I resumed the treatment on my dog but after a few days I noticed again that the number of pills did not match with the number of days left in the treatment. Once again they were wrong!!!!! They left them the same way as the beginning. Really??? I didn't bother in going back to complain but I don't think I can trust them again with my pet's health.Read Less

We brought my 16 year old cat in to the emergency services last night. She had gone blind just the week before and started having difficulty walking, was throwing up and had a seizure. They took us in immediately. The staff was very compassionate. Dr. White was awesome. They didn't try to force us to do a bunch of expensive tests. They knew that she needed to be put to sleep. Putting an animal to sleep is hard enough without someone pressuring you to to spend a lot of money to "save" an animal that is old and does not have quality of life. We appreciate everything they did for us. Read Less
