I went there a few weeks ago for my dog. Dr. Sands is a great vet not affraid of animals. 2 weeks later we came in for my dogs check up and the new vet that took over the business was affraid of my dog and wouldnt come from behind the door. I had to show her my dogs paw as she tried to look at it from a distance. I dont know how she could get a good look at it like that. I dont know if I will be back. It's sad. My mother has been going to this place for over 20 years. Wish Dr. Sands would come back.

We started taking our dog wookie here 2 years ago and were so happy with doctor sands and the staff. From the begining the treated wookie like he was part of the apopka vet family. They always checked in on him even after his visits with follow up calls. We recently had to make a very hard decision with our 15 year old boy and lay our dog to rest. the staff and Dr. Sands were there to support us at each step. They even checked in on us continously after his passing with calls and cards. They made a contribution to the morris animal foundation in memory of wookie.
I can't thank the staff enough and would never take an animal anywhere else. The way they touched wookie and our lives will never be forgotten.

Really loved this vet until they decided to not approve my cats script for CD food they no longer carry. I now how to special order it. I offered to make an appt to have kitty seen after next week as my work schedule is crazy next week and was told no approval until she is seen. So they would rather I let my kitty starve then get her food and then be seen. I understand she is due for her check up but needs food before I can get there. The food has to ship as it is. Very disappointed they are choosing money over my pet being able to eat!

Dr. Sands and staff are the best! I have been taking my pets to her for over 6 years, since moving to the Apopka area and she has always taken the time to explain each recommended procedure. Her and her staff are excellent with follow up after each treatment. I have several animals that have needed a bit of "extra" care and Dr. Sands has always been ready and willing to offer the best care possible. i would recommend her to anyone who treats their pets like family.

She and her staff are the most professional, caring and pleasant group of folks I've ever encountered in my 30+ years of having pets. From the routine stuff, to serious chronic issues, and from kittens to seniors, Dr. Sands and her staff have seen us through it all. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful vet clinic for my cats!

You will not find a more caring and knowledgeable veterinarian than Dr. Sands. She truly cares about each and every one of her patients, and you can be confident about receiving compassionate one on one care for your beloved pet. I have personally witnessed Dr. Sands "making her rounds" at the end of the day... she goes to every animal that is boarding there to check on them and give them some loving attention. That's the kind of service you will not find at larger veterinary clinics.

I went there a few weeks ago for my dog. Dr. Sands is a great vet not affraid of animals. 2 weeks later we came in for my dogs check up and the new vet that took over the business was affraid of my dog and wouldnt come from behind the door. I had to show her my dogs paw as she tried to look at it from a distance. I dont know how she could get a good look at it like that. I dont know if I will be back. It's sad. My mother has been going to this place for over 20 years. Wish Dr. Sands would come back.

We started taking our dog wookie here 2 years ago and were so happy with doctor sands and the staff. From the begining the treated wookie like he was part of the apopka vet family. They always checked in on him even after his visits with follow up calls. We recently had to make a very hard decision with our 15 year old boy and lay our dog to rest. the staff and Dr. Sands were there to support us at each step. Really loved this vet until they decided to not approve my cats script for CD food they no longer carry. I now how to special order it. Dr. Sands and staff are the best! I have been taking my pets to her for over 6 years, since moving to the Apopka area and she has always taken the time to explain each recommended procedure. Her and her staff are excellent with follow up after each treatment. I have several animals that have needed a bit of "extra" care and Dr. Sands has always been ready and willing to offer the best care possible. i would recommend her to anyone who treats their pets like family.

Dr. Sands and her staff have been caring for my cats since I moved to Apopka approx. 5 years ago. She and her staff are the most professional, caring and pleasant group of folks I've ever encountered in my 30+ years of having pets. From the routine stuff, to serious chronic issues, and from kittens to seniors, Dr. Sands and her staff have seen us through it all. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful vet clinic for my cats!

You will not find a more caring and knowledgeable veterinarian than Dr. Sands. She truly cares about each and every one of her patients, and you can be confident about receiving compassionate one on one care for your beloved pet. I have personally witnessed Dr. Sands "making her rounds" at the end of the day... she goes to every animal that is boarding there to check on them and give them some loving attention. That's the kind of service you will not find at larger veterinary clinics.
