The staff is wonderful and very patient. I have brought my dog and my cat here for years, they are understanding and flexible when it comes to last minute appointments. The vets are quite attentive and mindful of budgets when it comes to testing and treatments with real world suggestions rather than scripted responses. I brought my new kitten here for her second set of vaccines. The doctor was very kind, attentive and answered all my questions. The only problem was that I called ahead of time for an estimate on a spay and was told $120.00. When I arrived for my appointment and asked again, I was told it would be around $300.00! Read Less

We loved Dr. J and hated to hear that he sold this veterinary practice but I have to say that the new owners and the Vets that work there gave me the same service and loving care that we got from Doc J and Doc Beachum for all our small animals. The past 10 days have been very difficult for our family because we had to watch our beloved cat deteriorate right before our eyes. I have been going to Forest City Small animal Clinic since the early '90's. I really liked it their, but we moved out to Zellwood and I felt it would be best for my pet to have a vet closer to home. I remembered North Orange from twenty years ago when I gave a friend a ride to this office. I have to say I felt right at home and feel good about the switch. I called before I came because my chihuahua was attacked by a bigger dog. I asked do you take emergency? The lady asked are you a client? I said no, I have a emergency and your the closest vet hospital. Then she said yes and hung up. I thought um ok that's weird and against my gut I decided to go there anyways. There was a man with a cat sitting on the bench and a woman checking out with a puppy. I rushed in and said I'm here take her I called just a few minutes ago!! The lady said you will have to fill out some information, I said what! The man with the cat said, that dog has a pretty bad wound on its neck!!My dogs neck has been ripped open! I said really are you serious! She said you will have to wait your turn! I said what!! I said no way FU! The old lady's looked and me and one said fuck you too!  I went to our original vet and was told we were the second person to not receive emergency care from this office that day! Horrible horrible people who don't care and even though I threw out the first FU, no professional business should be speaking to a willing paying customer that way! Read Less

Their friendship and support as well as their guidance along the way has been invaluable. They've helped me treat ferals which nobody else would touch, affording me the opportunity to restore health to animals that would not have had healthy lives. They are compassionate beyond words when I've lost many a pet and I consider them an extension of my pet family - they are a necessary part of my life if I choose to continue to have pets. I had previously used Dr. Blum in Forest City for forty some years. After he passed I tried the other vet who took over but didn't like the bed side manners so we went back to North Orange because it had been the vet my wife used for twenty years. I've been taking my pets here for more than 30 years and have nothing but great things to say about everyone here, especially Dr. Jacobsen and Dr. Beechum. They all deeply care about my pets and your pets. I have taken two boxers and one cocker here, plus my mom always took her cats here. My current boxer LOVES coming here. His stub goes crazy when we pull up outside and then continues as we get inside. He's nearly 10 years old now and acts like a pup when we get there. That should tell you how they treat animals here. I have been bringing our pets to North Orange for the past 28 years. They have always treated my dogs and cats, as well as all of us, with kindness and dignity. We have boarded dogs there through the years as well. The care they have provided has always been excellent, and Drs. Beechum and Jacobson are wonderful vets! This clinic is the best I have ever been to. They took great care of my dog without a huge list of "standard" practice bologna! Wish there was a clinic like this one in Livonia. My clinic in Michigan makes me tap dance around endless shots and procedures I don't want before I can get the ones I NEED. Not here, they are the best! Read Less
