My Boston Terrier Maddie had been coming here for almost a year. We have used their grooming, boarding and veterinary services. Their boarding is amazing, they have a great back yard area where here the staff take the dogs out for play time and fresh air. At night the dogs are given their own space and their normal meal schedule is followed. Maddie can get very anxious and when we picked her up she was so happy and loves coming here for visits. For grooming, they offer next day appointments and will provide for if they will stay for the day. They also have ice cream pups and cup cakes!! Always a treat!! Dr. Ortiz is amazing! She truly cares about your pet holisticly. She addresses the physiological concerns but also talks through the emotional impacts for the animal. She offers accupuncture and laser therapy for chronic conditions and pain management. The entire staff loves all the animals and are so gentle! If you are looking for a true veterinarian office that years your pets like their own, this is it!

Great service and kind veterinary staff. I brought my dog here after she broke her nail on a Friday evening and the staff took care of her wonderfully. We also bring her to this clinic regularly for her shots and checkups and everyone has been nothing short of helpful and pleasant. The staff will work with you on the prices of services. The environment is open and clean and thoughtfully decorated. This is a great local animal hospital to bring your pet. I haven't had the opportunity to try the day care services yet but I look forward to it (plus it's the perfect excuse to take a vacation!)

I was supposed to board my boy, Max, with them for a week while I was going away on work. When I got there to drop him off I realized that, to my surprise, they had neglected to mention that they closed early on Saturdays. The whole reason I was there on a saturday(a day early) was because they had mentioned they'd be closed Sunday... So it's odd that they didn't mention the closing time. I got there about half an hour after closing... The receptionist was still there and didn't even bother coming to the door. She just signaled from behind the desk that they were closed. No f**KS given. It could have been an emergency, she could have at least had the decency to come to the door and either explain the situation or hear me out. I found it pretty odd since I had been there a few days before, checking the place out, and everyone was very nice. Needless to say, I no longer feel comfortable leaving him there. If that's the level of compassion and care shown while I'm present, I can't imagine how he'd be treated (or not treated) while he's there alone. Now, I am left trying to find a place last minute before I have to head out first my work trip on Monday.

My bad review is only in regards to the Daycare because that is the only service we have used. We dropped off our dog and for some reason he hated it there. We thought it was just a phase or separation anxiety but apparently he rough housed to hard with the staff and they said he was aggressive. They told us not to bring him back until he has had training, we were flabbergasted! We needed to find a place to take care of him quickly and we found Bow Wow. They took him in and none of the behaviors he exhibited with Pet Paradise are there. I know people who personally love Pet Paradise but it was a terrible experience for us.

First, let me say that my dogs have been clients of Dr Ortiz since 2003. She is the best and no one compare to her compassion and treatment of her clients. November 19th was a tough day for me. We had to place our amazing Dezi to sleep and she came into the office feeling sick and not well at all just to honor us with her doing the final task. She treated him since he was 8 weeks old and I am happy that she was there during his last breath. Paradise Animal Hospital is a place full of love and compassion. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Ortiz for 12 years. She is a wonderful vet that has actually saved the life of one of my babies. She always treats my babies with respect and dignity. Her technicians are well trained and also kind and gentle with your pets. My issue is dealing with the CONSTANT total lack of concern with the receptionist. I left my 10 year old maltipoo there for boarding for 6 nights. I took his bed and placed it inside the area where he would be staying. I was assured by the staff that his bed would be fine. He has arthritis and needs to sleep in an elevated bed away from the cold concrete floors. I was assured that if he had any problems that I would get a phone call. When I picked him up this morning the receptionist said he did not eat for two days and his bed was removed from his area because it was too much trouble to move it every day to clean. She said she didn't think I needed to be called about any of this. We also left treats for him which were still in his bag. Her attitude was that he ate for 4 days and it didn't matter where he slept. I have previously had problems with her by not giving messages to Dr. Ortiz when I needed to ask a question about medication. She always makes me wait to be checked out while she is talking o the phone with a friend, eating at her desk or visiting with her friends in the office. The first person you see when you walk in the door should be just as professional as the Doctor and technicians.

Dr. Ortiz was so thorough with her exam and explanations. My dog is 12yrs old and I've never experienced that kind of thought and workup. She is definitely knowledgeable and experienced. Love her mix of contemporary and traditional medicinal practices. She gave us lots of choices for the future and several treatment options without pressure. A friend referred us to Dr. Ortiz and spoke so highly of her. We scheduled an appointment for our 16 year old cat who has arthritis and joint issues on his back legs among other issues. Our cat not only tolerated the acupuncture treatment but fell asleep. It appeared to be a very calm and peaceful experience for him. Dr. Ortiz had a great energy to her and it was a wonderful experience to watch. The next day we did see improvement which we didn't expect so that was great. We are back again for our second appointment!

My dog came from a rescue and has serious trust issues and hates car rides, typically it takes 3 people to get him in the car- unless of course I say "want to go see Ana?" And he literally jumps into the car! I don't know about you but I've always felt dogs are better judges of character than humans and Fletcher's review of Dr. O and her staff is a resounding A+++!! Her compassion and dedication to her patients is why we drive from winter park to Apopka to get all our vet needs taken care of! Do yourself and your pets a favor and see Dr. O and her staff today!!

I've been taking my pets to Dr Ortiz since she was in the old building. My pets have always gotten great care there. The Dr and Staff are all caring and friendly. They always recognize me and whichever critter I'm in for and make a fuss over them. Most of my pet care has been routine, but when I have had health issues the staff were compassionate and informative. When I had an emergency with my puppy they got her in immediately and took great care of her.

Dr Ortiz is great. She's knowledgable and caring. She's very thourough. I've had pets for over 20 years of my adult life, so I've seen a few vets. I'd rate her easily at the top of my list. Her office staff is great too. And unlike lots of vet offices her place is actually clean and well maintained.

My greyhound rescue group has been served there for more than 2 years and they have treated dozens of our greyhounds. We could not be happier or feel more secure taking our precious babies to them. If you live in Apopka or Altamonte, Dr. Ortiz could be your new best friend. My Boston Terrier Maddie had been coming here for almost a year. We have used their grooming, boarding and veterinary services. Their boarding is amazing, they have a great back yard area where here the staff take the dogs out for play time and fresh air. At night the dogs are given their own space and their normal meal schedule is followed. Maddie can get very anxious and when we picked her up she was so happy and loves coming here for visits. For grooming, they offer next day appointments and will provide for if they will stay for the day. They also have ice cream pups and cup cakes!! Always a treat!! Dr. Ortiz is amazing! She truly cares about your pet holisticly. She addresses the physiological concerns but also talks through the emotional impacts for the animal. She offers accupuncture and laser therapy for chronic conditions and pain management. The entire staff loves all the animals and are so gentle! If you are looking for a true veterinarian office that years your pets like their own, this is it!

Great service and kind veterinary staff. I brought my dog here after she broke her nail on a Friday evening and the staff took care of her wonderfully. We also bring her to this clinic regularly for her shots and checkups and everyone has been nothing short of helpful and pleasant. The staff will work with you on the prices of services. The environment is open and clean and thoughtfully decorated. This is a great local animal hospital to bring your pet. I haven't had the opportunity to try the day care services yet but I look forward to it (plus it's the perfect excuse to take a vacation!)

I was supposed to board my boy, Max, with them for a week while I was going away on work. When I got there to drop him off I realized that, to my surprise, they had neglected to mention that they closed early on Saturdays. The whole reason I was there on a saturday(a day early) was because they had mentioned they'd be closed Sunday... So it's odd that they didn't mention the closing time. I got there about half an hour after closing... The receptionist was still there and didn't even bother coming to the door. She just signaled from behind the desk that they were closed. No f**KS given. It could have been an emergency, she could have at least had the decency to come to the door and either explain the situation or hear me out. I found it pretty odd since I had been there a few days before, checking the place out, and everyone was very nice. Needless to say, I no longer feel comfortable leaving him there. If that's the level of compassion and care shown while I'm present, I can't imagine how he'd be treated (or not treated) while he's there alone. Now, I am left trying to find a place last minute before I have to head out first my work trip on Monday.

My bad review is only in regards to the Daycare because that is the only service we have used. We dropped off our dog and for some reason he hated it there. We thought it was just a phase or separation anxiety but apparently he rough housed to hard with the staff and they said he was aggressive. They told us not to bring him back until he has had training, we were flabbergasted! We needed to find a place to take care of him quickly and we found Bow Wow. They took him in and none of the behaviors he exhibited with Pet Paradise are there. I know people who personally love Pet Paradise but it was a terrible experience for us.

First, let me say that my dogs have been clients of Dr Ortiz since 2003. She is the best and no one compare to her compassion and treatment of her clients. November 19th was a tough day for me. We had to place our amazing Dezi to sleep and she came into the office feeling sick and not well at all just to honor us with her doing the final task. She treated him since he was 8 weeks old and I am happy that she was there during his last breath. Paradise Animal Hospital is a place full of love and compassion. Courtney and the staff rocks as well!

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Ortiz for 12 years. She is a wonderful vet that has actually saved the life of one of my babies. She always treats my babies with respect and dignity. Her technicians are well trained and also kind and gentle with your pets. My issue is dealing with the CONSTANT total lack of concern with the receptionist. I left my 10 year old maltipoo there for boarding for 6 nights. I took his bed and placed it inside the area where he would be staying. I was assured by the staff that his bed would be fine. He has arthritis and needs to sleep in an elevated bed away from the cold concrete floors. I was assured that if he had any problems that I would get a phone call. When I picked him up this morning the receptionist said he did not eat for two days and his bed was removed from his area because it was too much trouble to move it every day to clean. She said she didn't think I needed to be called about any of this. We also left treats for him which were still in his bag. Her attitude was that he ate for 4 days and it didn't matter where he slept. I have previously had problems with her by not giving messages to Dr. Ortiz when I needed to ask a question about medication. She always makes me wait to be checked out while she is talking o the phone with a friend, eating at her desk or visiting with her friends in the office. The first person you see when you walk in the door should be just as professional as the Doctor and technicians.

Dr. Ortiz was so thorough with her exam and explanations. My dog is 12yrs old and I've never experienced that kind of thought and workup. She is definitely knowledgeable and experienced. Love her mix of contemporary and traditional medicinal practices. She gave us lots of choices for the future and several treatment options without pressure. Maybe I want to drive to this clinic for my regular care...!

The practice staffs is efficient and prompt. Prices are fair and affordable and they don't try and pressure you into unnecessary test. I know what the are recommending is what my boys need to continue to be happy and healthy. The facility is super nice and welcoming.

A friend referred us to Dr. Ortiz and spoke so highly of her. We scheduled an appointment for our 16 year old cat who has arthritis and joint issues on his back legs among other issues. Our cat not only tolerated the acupuncture treatment but fell asleep. It appeared to be a very calm and peaceful experience for him. Dr. Ortiz had a great energy to her and it was a wonderful experience to watch. The next day we did see improvement which we didn't expect so that was great. We are back again for our second appointment!

Love pet paradise! They are always so friendly and they truly care about your animals. Our pups love everyone here and get excited when we visit. Wouldn't want to take them anywhere else.

Dr. O and her entire staff are simply wonderful! They are patient, kind and always make you feel like you are the only patient they have. My dog came from a rescue and has serious trust issues and hates car rides, typically it takes 3 people to get him in the car- unless of course I say "want to go see Ana?" And he literally jumps into the car! I don't know about you but I've always felt dogs are better judges of character than humans and Fletcher's review of Dr. O and her staff is a resounding A+++!! Her compassion and dedication to her patients is why we drive from winter park to Apopka to get all our vet needs taken care of! Do yourself and your pets a favor and see Dr. O and her staff today!!

Dr Ortiz and her staff are hands down the best ever! Our 14 year old lab spent many days in his last 4 years with them and they treated him like nothing less than close family. It will be a long time...

I've been taking my pets to Dr Ortiz since she was in the old building. My pets have always gotten great care there. The Dr and Staff are all caring and friendly. They always recognize me and whichever critter I'm in for and make a fuss over them. Most of my pet care has been routine, but when I have had health issues the staff were compassionate and informative. When I had an emergency with my puppy they got her in immediately and took great care of her.

Her office staff is great too. And unlike lots of vet offices her place is actually clean and well maintained.

Dr. Anna Ortiz and her staff at Pet Paradise Animal Hospital on 436 in Apopka are the most caring and knowledgeable people!!!! My greyhound rescue group has been served there for more than 2 years and they have treated dozens of our greyhounds. We could not be happier or feel more secure taking our precious babies to them. If you live in Apopka or Altamonte, Dr. Ortiz could be your new best friend.
