Be cautious before purchasing services from Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital. My wife took our dog to a free consultation in early February. Dr. Man, under false pretense, persuaded her that an emergency existed and convinced my wife to spend $322 in pre-surgery wellness x-rays and schedule a next day $2500 surgery to remove a fractured premolar number 108. That evening I learned of this and had my wife contact the doctor immediately to cancel the surgery since we had not done our due diligence in getting several consultations and cost quotes. Dr Man, that same evening, then employed additional high pressure sales by texting photos to my wife of dogs with malformed faces and indicated this will happen to your dog. Dr. Man refused to refund a $350 deposit made towards the surgery even though we canceled the surgery later the same day. Any trustworthy or ethical doctor would have suggested she discuss the consultation and costs with her spouse before making a decision to perform a nearly $3000 surgery. After personally speaking with Dr. Man the next day to reiterate we needed additional consultations and cost estimates, it was clear he was more interested in just getting our money. He again used high pressure sales tactics such as: it was a medical emergency; you have such a sweet dog and he is in pain. Don’t make the same mistake we did and be sure you completely know what you are getting into before giving any deposit to Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital. Subsequently we received at least two additional consultations and the doctors indicated it was NOT an emergency and also were over $1500 less.

Dear Greg, We are disappointed to see that you state "tactics or pressure" was used during the appointment with your wife. Toby came to us for a third opinion which you were not involved with. Your wife and I had several conversations prior to and after the appointment. Photos of Toby's mouth were taken and reviewed with your wife during a curbside appointment. An painful, open fracture of the triple rooted chewing tooth (with the nerve exposed) was a diagnosis that had been made by another hospital months prior to the visit with our team. The care had been delayed prior to the consult with us and I was able to confirm with your wife that Toby's situation was a dental emergency. We also approved all the procedures that Toby needed and associated costs with your wife. Your wife consented to a nonrefundable deposit and scheduled a surgical procedure with our team, which she then cancelled. The deposit for that procedure remains as a credit remains at our hospital. The cost for the procedure was lower than the previous surgical estimate you received and included care provided by a dental expert. Not sure what to really say. I received and extremely sick puppy. Dr Man did not give up on her. He pretty much consulted anyone and everyone to try to figure out what was causing my 9 week old Malinois not to thrive. Dr Man convinced me to take her for a blood transfusion. The first Emergency Vet did not have the proper blood. I ended up at another ER. I got a call at 5AM saying that everything went well. The ER Vet told me he had already spoken to Dr Man. Dr Man called at 2-3AM and tracked down where I had taken her. There was a positive parasite test for an extremely dangerous and hard to find bugger called Coccida. When I brought her to the ER she weighed 5.1LBS. That was on 07/07/21. Today 7/29/21 she weighs 17LBS. Roberta and Shawna are awesome. They communicate and are always there to help. This is by far the best veterinarian I have ever been too. Having researched areas in Boca for my bosses many animals I came across Midtown, the staff is absolutely amazing and so understanding. Trish has helped me on so many occasions assisting my bosses cats who have anxiety. I personally live in West Palm but they have done such amazing work I am willing to drive all the way to Boca for my personal animal as well.Thank you all so much!Also they have pet cats that guard the building. Tabitha is the best ^_^

Brought 2 cats for micro-chipping and evaluation, first time. I am very satisfied with my experience. Few things to notice: 1. Awesome feedback and communication, staff calls back and emails, appointment was prompt to the minute. 2. Excellent stuff: very attentive, caring and smiling. Doctor is great and very knowledgeable. 3. The PLACE ACTUALLY SMELLS GOOD, which is a rarity among the animal facilities. It quiet, peaceful and very accommodating clinic, you can get a cup of coffee and relax. Pets are very sensitive to the stress, in this place they get calm and all the fears go away. Overall mark - 5 STARS.

Pricing is outrageous, just south of 200 for a follow up appointment. They also get angry if you want to take the time to think it over before proceeding with an expensive/overpriced service. Thankfully I found a new, less expensive vet, with better results from their treatment. However, when calling to get my pets paperwork transferred over they informed me that they would need approval from the vet.... if they really cared about the animal they should have no problem sending records over to a new vet. So happy I finally found somewhere else to go. Stay far far away from this money pit.

This one measly star is for the very kind, and friendly front office staff and vet techs. They were pleasant and professional and kind. If not for them, there would be no stars.This was our first time at Boca Midtowne and we came in because a friend recommended the vet. Our goal was pain relief for our very old dog with hip issues. The vet gave her a brief exam and then left to prepare a "treatment plan" for our dog. I swear he saw the age of our dog and dollar signs appeared in his eyes. The "plan" he came up with included way more treatments than requested, the price was outrages and he had an attitude that was more condescending than compassionate. When I questioned the price, he insisted we call my husband on the phone to discuss options. My husband was even less impressed that the vet didn't trust my opinions.I care deeply for our pets and I don't mind when we need to pay for services for their healthcare, but I felt the vet was playing that to charge a premium for services.We immediately called our old, trusted vet (which we should have done in the first place). He offered the same services but listened to what care we could afford to do first and what would be best for our dog.

Sorry but I agree with the other reviews which means this is a consistent issue. Start with the positive. The reception and vet techs are very nice and helpful, good people and employees. The doctor yes he is money focused. I have the money he kept going on and on about money as he tried to talk me into care credit assuming my finances. I am also realistic, pets have a life span and based on my second opinion I received I wouldn't go through with sedating an older dog with high risk. I only asked for a professional medical opinion and a treatment plan. I've done this game before I know most of what will need to be done if I was to allow the surgery. Just if you have boca money to blow on an elderly pet for no reason than them not waking up fine go here they will do the surgery and I'm sure they can do it right but there is common sense that has to be taken into account with elder pets. You have to leave the emotions out of it and be logical.

The tests revealed a large mass in his spleen. The spleen was removed, and Jake will be fine, thanks to Dr Man & his staff for taking proper precautions and providing excellent & loving care 🙏

We are so pleased we consented to having Gracie's teeth cleaned. She had several procedures including cleaning and polishing, impacted tooth extraction, root planing and periodontal filler. Thank goodness they didn't fix her underbite; it's what made us fall in love with her! A great big thank you to Dr. Man and to Dr. K. for a job well done. VERY pleased with Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital! We take our animals to Banfield for their check ups and vaccinations. However, our boxer, Magoo, had a tumor growing on his gum that they couldn't take care of. I found BMAH and they've been nothing short of awesome with us! They took great care of our dog and I felt very comfortable leaving him with the staff. The vet and dentist called, emailed me photos of Magoo and his x-rays and did a 3-way call with my husband and I to explain everything in detail so we could make the best decision for our animal. I highly recommend this facility!

Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital is the WORST VETERINARIAN I HAVE EVER MET IN MY 40 plus years taking care of animals.This veterinary ( if you can call him that ) is dishonest. He sees your pet as $$$$ signs only. I brought my cat with a loose tooth that needed immediate care. He said it would cost me $1.600,00 in running tests just so to see if the cat was a candidate to remove the tooth that was practically hanging from his mouth. Having so many years experience working with animals I left his office and took my cat to CORAL SPRINGS ANIMAL HOSPITAL and they took care of the tooth for $186.00 including antibiotic and pain medication to take home.A local anesthetic was administered and a mild tranquilizer was all that my cat needed.

After the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma my family an I were left with little to nothing. All of our animals vaccination paperwork was destroyed and we needed to have proof of vaccinations for our new residence. After spending most of what we had to find a new place to live we relied on Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital for help getting out digs taken care of. They gave me an appoint for the very next day ( ON A SATURDAY NONE THE LESS!!)Their prices are excellent and honestly that is the original reason we chose them. After our visit we have found that there are so many other wonderful reason ls to have Midtowne as our primary Veterinary Specialists. The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is very relaxing for our animals. Usually they have a very difficult time going to the vet but for some reason our dogs felt very comfortable. I highly recommend that you stop searching and allow Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital and staff to be your go to animal care clinic.

So I decided to look up a product that was sold to me for $30.00 and low and behold I found the EXACT SAME PRODUCT FOR $14.00 can you say RIP OFF. I should have taken the reviews of those before me and really payed close attention. The FIRST TIME FREE OFFICE VISIT, YOU GUESSED IT, NOT SO FREE!! Stay away far away!!

They are so kind and gentle with my 17 yr old kitty Neptune. The staff was equally as kind and gentle a year ago when they informed me that she had kidney disease. Since then they have been more than accommodating letting me bring her in at a minutes notice. They know her name when she visits and they price match which has made this very expensive care affordable. I highly recommend them.

My cat has been there twice and each time was a pleasant experience. (pleasant as a visit to the doctirs can be). Staff always remember my name and my pets name. Both Dr. Man and Dr. Woon are excellent at their profession. I hope I never have to go back because going to the doctors is never pleasant but if and when I do I'm definitely taking my cat to Boca Midtown Animal Hospital without doubt.

I'd give zero stars if there was such an option. Worst veterinarian experience I've ever had and I've owned pets for over 35 years! Examined first by a tech and was then told the vet would be in and go over the price list with me. During the exam by the vet my cat seemed very uncomfortable and even hissed. I know this is not uncommon and has happened with other cats I've had but never in 8 years with this cat. Vet seemed very inexperienced and when I agreed to do a blood test she wanted to take the cat in a back room. In all these years I've never done that so she proceeded to try drawing blood in the exam room. She made 3!! Attempts at drawing the blood but never held the needle in to make sure it didn't come out. A complete and utter failure! Stuck my cat 3 times and couldn't get one drop of blood. That's when I finally said Stop and got out of there as fast as possible. I let them give the 2 vaccinations that I originally came in for. Seemed much more interested In My money than my cat. If I let them do all that was on their 'menu' it would've been about $500.00. As I said the worst( by far) experience I've ever had at a vet. My cat was so traumatized that she vomited on the way home. This is the most relaxed and well behaved cat I've ever been around. My recommenendation to anyone is Stay Away from boca midtown!!

If it's possible to give this place a negative review I would. They were requesting tests which were unnecessary and the tests they ran were exceptionally over priced. I paid more in two visits than I did for two years at my previous vet in Miami. I Will be looking for another vet and not be going back here. Even if they were the only vet in Boca, I would drive to Orlando to find another vet.

After crying all day and taking the day off work I called back and told them I couldn't afford it. Then they said they could give her some antibiotics for $75. All they cared about was making money, not about my pet. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

Dr. Boaz Man and his staff are fantastic. Everyone at the office is super friendly and they've provided us with amazing service for our puppy. Dr. Man is extremely thorough and when our dog was sick he worked with us to try and find the root of the problem and then treat it as necessary. He also has excellent follow up skills and stayed in contact with us to make sure our dog was feeling better. I couldn't recommend Dr. Man and his practice more!

The very first weekend I had my puppy (Kendall), we made a last minute appointment and Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital was very helpful, friendly, and showed genuine care and concern for my pup. The Dr.s and staff are all very outgoing and very gentle with the pets. They are very thorough and informed. I feel safe and confident placing the care of my puppy in their hands. We plan to be part of the Boca Midtowne family as long as I live here.
I absolutely adore Dr. Woon, and Dr. Man...although we usually see Dr. Woon.

I was not happy with my visit. I used to love coming to Boca Midtowne when Dr. Marc was the vet. But I have not been happy since he left. On my last visit, I brought my cat and told 2 different people BEFORE the visit that I wanted on the T4 test because I believed she was exhibiting the same symptoms as my other cat-thyroid problems. And I told both of those people that I was having severe financial difficulties and could not afford anything else. I was bullied into an exam anyway-they refused to run the blood test after they drew the blood, saying I had to have an exam to find out what else could be wrong with her. Of course they found other problems with my cat-problems that had nothing to do with the issues that I had brought her in for. They charge $60 for a T4 test, where most other vets charge $25-39. And they charge $60 for an exam, where most others charge $40. I am very disappointed!

He is very reasonable priced compared to a lot of other places in boca and he honestly cares about animals. I also recommended a friend to him and he ended up saving her dog's life. Be cautious before purchasing services from Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital. My wife took our dog to a free consultation in early February. Dr. Man, under false pretense, persuaded her that an emergency existed and convinced my wife to spend $322 in pre-surgery wellness x-rays and schedule a next day $2500 surgery to remove a fractured premolar number 108. That evening I learned of this and had my wife contact the doctor immediately to cancel the surgery since we had not done our due diligence in getting several consultations and cost quotes. Dr Man, that same evening, then employed additional high pressure sales by texting photos to my wife of dogs with malformed faces and indicated this will happen to your dog. Dr. Man refused to refund a $350 deposit made towards the surgery even though we canceled the surgery later the same day. Any trustworthy or ethical doctor would have suggested she discuss the consultation and costs with her spouse before making a decision to perform a nearly $3000 surgery. After personally speaking with Dr. Man the next day to reiterate we needed additional consultations and cost estimates, it was clear he was more interested in just getting our money. He again used high pressure sales tactics such as: it was a medical emergency; you have such a sweet dog and he is in pain. Don’t make the same mistake we did and be sure you completely know what you are getting into before giving any deposit to Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital. Subsequently we received at least two additional consultations and the doctors indicated it was NOT an emergency and also were over $1500 less.

Dear Greg, We are disappointed to see that you state "tactics or pressure" was used during the appointment with your wife. Toby came to us for a third opinion which you were not involved with. Your wife and I had several conversations prior to and after the appointment. Photos of Toby's mouth were taken and reviewed with your wife during a curbside appointment. An painful, open fracture of the triple rooted chewing tooth (with the nerve exposed) was a diagnosis that had been made by another hospital months prior to the visit with our team. The care had been delayed prior to the consult with us and I was able to confirm with your wife that Toby's situation was a dental emergency. We also approved all the procedures that Toby needed and associated costs with your wife. Your wife consented to a nonrefundable deposit and scheduled a surgical procedure with our team, which she then cancelled. The deposit for that procedure remains as a credit remains at our hospital. The cost for the procedure was lower than the previous surgical estimate you received and included care provided by a dental expert. Not sure what to really say. I received and extremely sick puppy. Dr Man did not give up on her. He pretty much consulted anyone and everyone to try to figure out what was causing my 9 week old Malinois not to thrive. Dr Man convinced me to take her for a blood transfusion. The first Emergency Vet did not have the proper blood. I ended up at another ER. I got a call at 5AM saying that everything went well. The ER Vet told me he had already spoken to Dr Man. Dr Man called at 2-3AM and tracked down where I had taken her. There was a positive parasite test for an extremely dangerous and hard to find bugger called Coccida. When I brought her to the ER she weighed 5.1LBS. That was on 07/07/21. Today 7/29/21 she weighs 17LBS. Roberta and Shawna are awesome. They communicate and are always there to help. You can watch my puppies story on Boca Midtown’s Veterinary Hospitals Facebook or Instagram page. I highly recommend that you don’t look for a vet deal aka Banfield. This is the place to go!!!

Awesome feedback and communication, staff calls back and emails, appointment was prompt to the minute. 2. Excellent stuff: very attentive, caring and smiling. Doctor is great and very knowledgeable. 3. The PLACE ACTUALLY SMELLS GOOD, which is a rarity among the animal facilities. It quiet, peaceful and very accommodating clinic, you can get a cup of coffee and relax. Pets are very sensitive to the stress, in this place they get calm and all the fears go away. Thankfully I found a new, less expensive vet, with better results from their treatment. However, when calling to get my pets paperwork transferred over they informed me that they would need approval from the vet.... if they really cared about the animal they should have no problem sending records over to a new vet. So happy I finally found somewhere else to go. Stay far far away from this money pit.

This one measly star is for the very kind, and friendly front office staff and vet techs. They were pleasant and professional and kind. If not for them, there would be no stars.This was our first time at Boca Midtowne and we came in because a friend recommended the vet. Our goal was pain relief for our very old dog with hip issues. The vet gave her a brief exam and then left to prepare a "treatment plan" for our dog. I swear he saw the age of our dog and dollar signs appeared in his eyes. The "plan" he came up with included way more treatments than requested, the price was outrages and he had an attitude that was more condescending than compassionate. When I questioned the price, he insisted we call my husband on the phone to discuss options. My husband was even less impressed that the vet didn't trust my opinions.I care deeply for our pets and I don't mind when we need to pay for services for their healthcare, but I felt the vet was playing that to charge a premium for services.We immediately called our old, trusted vet (which we should have done in the first place). He offered the same services but listened to what care we could afford to do first and what would be best for our dog.

Sorry but I agree with the other reviews which means this is a consistent issue. Start with the positive. The reception and vet techs are very nice and helpful, good people and employees. The doctor yes he is money focused. I have the money he kept going on and on about money as he tried to talk me into care credit assuming my finances. I am also realistic, pets have a life span and based on my second opinion I received I wouldn't go through with sedating an older dog with high risk. I only asked for a professional medical opinion and a treatment plan. I've done this game before I know most of what will need to be done if I was to allow the surgery. Just if you have boca money to blow on an elderly pet for no reason than them not waking up fine go here they will do the surgery and I'm sure they can do it right but there is common sense that has to be taken into account with elder pets. You have to leave the emotions out of it and be logical.

VERY pleased with Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital! We take our animals to Banfield for their check ups and vaccinations. However, our boxer, Magoo, had a tumor growing on his gum that they couldn't take care of. I found BMAH and they've been nothing short of awesome with us! They took great care of our dog and I felt very comfortable leaving him with the staff. The vet and dentist called, emailed me photos of Magoo and his x-rays and did a 3-way call with my husband and I to explain everything in detail so we could make the best decision for our animal. I highly recommend this facility!

Having so many years experience working with animals I left his office and took my cat to CORAL SPRINGS ANIMAL HOSPITAL and they took care of the tooth for $186.00 including antibiotic and pain medication to take home.A local anesthetic was administered and a mild tranquilizer was all that my cat needed.

After the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma my family an I were left with little to nothing. All of our animals vaccination paperwork was destroyed and we needed to have proof of vaccinations for our new residence. After spending most of what we had to find a new place to live we relied on Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital for help getting out digs taken care of. They gave me an appoint for the very next day ( ON A SATURDAY NONE THE LESS!!)Their prices are excellent and honestly that is the original reason we chose them. After our visit we have found that there are so many other wonderful reason ls to have Midtowne as our primary Veterinary Specialists. The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is very relaxing for our animals. Usually they have a very difficult time going to the vet but for some reason our dogs felt very comfortable. I highly recommend that you stop searching and allow Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital and staff to be your go to animal care clinic.

I have also never had a vet NOT want to give a receipt with the breakdown on what was done and what was purchased. So I decided to look up a product that was sold to me for $30.00 and low and behold I found the EXACT SAME PRODUCT FOR $14.00 can you say RIP OFF. I should have taken the reviews of those before me and really payed close attention. The FIRST TIME FREE OFFICE VISIT, YOU GUESSED IT, NOT SO FREE!! Stay away far away!!

They are so kind and gentle with my 17 yr old kitty Neptune. The staff was equally as kind and gentle a year ago when they informed me that she had kidney disease. Since then they have been more than accommodating letting me bring her in at a minutes notice. They know her name when she visits and they price match which has made this very expensive care affordable. I highly recommend them.

My cat has been there twice and each time was a pleasant experience. (pleasant as a visit to the doctirs can be). Staff always remember my name and my pets name. Both Dr. Man and Dr. Woon are excellent at their profession. I hope I never have to go back because going to the doctors is never pleasant but if and when I do I'm definitely taking my cat to Boca Midtown Animal Hospital without doubt.

I'd give zero stars if there was such an option. Worst veterinarian experience I've ever had and I've owned pets for over 35 years! Examined first by a tech and was then told the vet would be in and go over the price list with me. During the exam by the vet my cat seemed very uncomfortable and even hissed. I know this is not uncommon and has happened with other cats I've had but never in 8 years with this cat. Vet seemed very inexperienced and when I agreed to do a blood test she wanted to take the cat in a back room. In all these years I've never done that so she proceeded to try drawing blood in the exam room. She made 3!! Attempts at drawing the blood but never held the needle in to make sure it didn't come out. A complete and utter failure! Stuck my cat 3 times and couldn't get one drop of blood. That's when I finally said Stop and got out of there as fast as possible. I let them give the 2 vaccinations that I originally came in for. Seemed much more interested In My money than my cat. If I let them do all that was on their 'menu' it would've been about $500.00. As I said the worst( by far) experience I've ever had at a vet. My cat was so traumatized that she vomited on the way home. This is the most relaxed and well behaved cat I've ever been around. My recommenendation to anyone is Stay Away from boca midtown!!

I paid more in two visits than I did for two years at my previous vet in Miami. I Will be looking for another vet and not be going back here. Even if they were the only vet in Boca, I would drive to Orlando to find another vet.

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. They told me it would cost $1,000 minimum (and that it would probably be a lot more) to save my cat and would give me time to think it over. After crying all day and taking the day off work I called back and told them I couldn't afford it. Then they said they could give her some antibiotics for $75. All they cared about was making money, not about my pet. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

Dr. Man is extremely thorough and when our dog was sick he worked with us to try and find the root of the problem and then treat it as necessary. He also has excellent follow up skills and stayed in contact with us to make sure our dog was feeling better. I couldn't recommend Dr. Man and his practice more!

The very first weekend I had my puppy (Kendall), we made a last minute appointment and Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital was very helpful, friendly, and showed genuine care and concern for my pup. The Dr.s and staff are all very outgoing and very gentle with the pets. They are very thorough and informed. I feel safe and confident placing the care of my puppy in their hands. We plan to be part of the Boca Midtowne family as long as I live here.
I absolutely adore Dr. Woon, and Dr. Man...although we usually see Dr. Woon.

I was not happy with my visit. I used to love coming to Boca Midtowne when Dr. Marc was the vet. But I have not been happy since he left. On my last visit, I brought my cat and told 2 different people BEFORE the visit that I wanted on the T4 test because I believed she was exhibiting the same symptoms as my other cat-thyroid problems. And I told both of those people that I was having severe financial difficulties and could not afford anything else. I was bullied into an exam anyway-they refused to run the blood test after they drew the blood, saying I had to have an exam to find out what else could be wrong with her. Of course they found other problems with my cat-problems that had nothing to do with the issues that I had brought her in for. They charge $60 for a T4 test, where most other vets charge $25-39. And they charge $60 for an exam, where most others charge $40. I am very disappointed!

He is very reasonable priced compared to a lot of other places in boca and he honestly cares about animals. I also recommended a friend to him and he ended up saving her dog's life.
