We are a quaint neighborhood type small animal clinic in Boca Raton. We love what we do and it is reinforced on a daily basis. This profession allows us to interact with devoted and caring people who also understand and appreciate the gift that pets give us, the ability to show us what it means to love fully and unconditionally. Our clinic is filled with dedicated team members with big hearts and compassion.

Dr. Tracey Hutson and her staff are very professional, extremely competent and very concerned with the care of their furry patients. I was fortunate to have found her in Sept 2018 when an outside cat that I had been feeding for 13 years with his 2 siblings became critically ill. Dr. Huston confirmed it was abdominal cancer. Her staff fit me in that day, and in a very compassionate way he was put to sleep, swathed in a big cacooning blanket in my lap while I said goodbye to him. Once again on this June 16th her staff fit me in that same day because another male stray cat that I've been feeding this year, showed up with a paw wound. I was able to have him neutered and his paw treated within 2 hours for me to pick him back up. Oreo did very well, he stayed away for 12 days as a stray but returned in great health and now stays close by and sleeps outside my door every night were he is comfortable. Very grateful for the excellent skills of Dr. Hutson, her caring, gentle ways and her friendly and helpful staff. I just passed her info on to the director of a wildlife sanctuary that I know, so he can become acquainted with Dr. Hutson as well. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

She was refer to me from Dr. Robin Holtsinger ( top orthopedic surgeon in Florida )
I had a terrible experience with my previous veterinarian and was so beside myself with fear that they were NOT taking my concerns seriously about my baby .
So when I spoke with Dr. Hudson , right from the beginning, she was so gentle with me and even more gentle with Emma . She listen to all that was wrong , made suggestions , and really took the time without rushing to get to the core of the problem .
I was so thankful and feeling so Bless that I found such a wonderful human being that cares so much for the furry babies .
I recommend her highly!!!
Once u meet her , you will Never seek out another veterinarian Again .:-))🙏🏻

My wife and I were referred to Compassionate from another family that are filled with dog lovers. The staff there has never let us down and has been exceptional in every way. We wound up moving to Indiana and then Washington State only to return back to South Florida almost two years later. One of the BEST things about returning here was the quality of care we knew our pups would get. We tried vets all over the country and hands down, they do not compare to Doc and her staff. We cannot day enough positives about them.

Today we took in our new puppy Charlotte. The place is super clean, staff beyond friendly & excellent care. As new puppy owners we had been given A LOT of advice. The Dr was so caring with helping with all our questions on the best care for Charlotte. We left feeling for at ease & knowledgeably on our new adventure as puppy owners. Very professional and down to earth. Reasonable prices, everything is priced up front unlike some of the other places. They only try to sell you services or tests they truly believe are necessary or beneficial. Do a great job with dental cleaning though wish they would invest in a digital dental x ray machine and a bigger operating table. Though, space is limited in the office, so i can understand why they don't get a bigger table. Not really a big deal unless you have a huge dog (like a great Dane or Irish wolfhound) or a large one with joint problems (as they might be a bit cramped on the operating table). That's the only quip, which is great, as chances are some slight cramps are of negligible concern if your dog is undergoing a surgical procedure. I still go there for my dog, as Tracy hutson makes a great primary care doctor for my dog. Way cheaper than vca, and the doctor is very responsive to email consultation, whereas with other firms I've had to play phone tag with the receptionists just to get a basic answer about anything.

I had been to two other veterinary clinics prior and was overpriced and ripped off but didn't can honestly say for the past five years could not be happier or more pleased with the staff, the doctor all of their services

Just brought my pup (Darla - age 14) to this vet for her first visit. Darla is scared to death of veterinarians... but with Dr. Hudson --- she didn't want to leave! She found her new best friend who carries treats! (And no... treats did not cut it with other vets... Dr Hudson was so good with Darla!)
I don't usually write reviews unless I am truly passionate (one way or another) with the service or quality or care that a business / person takes.
Just loved the technicians and doctor and the calming feel of the office!

Dr. Hudson and her staff are amazing.. I'm so glad I found her, and I agree with the other 5 star ratings here. I walked out of my previous vet's office in Boca years ago, after a staff member was pressuring me expensive and unecessary testing and had an attitude. They totally missed that my dog had swollen lymph nodes and had Cancer. Thankfully, I took Casper to see Dr. Hudson and she found it with a simple physical exam. Since we caught it early enough, he lived another 2 years with treatment which I'm very grateful for. Dr. Hudson also recently fit in my other dog for an emergency dental surgery, and did a great job. She also discovered that she has an oral cancer, so I'm very happy she was the vet to care for Chloe. Highly recommend, the staff is also very caring and considerate!

I first went to compassionate care when my senior dog hurt her leg and was in a great deal of pain. Their scheduling is great and the doctor is very quick but also thorough in examination. She's great overall and I couldn't really ask for more from someone to take care of my dog. The assistants are also very caring and will do everything they can to make sure you and your pet are in the best of care.
Dr. Hutson is extremely caring and knowledgeable, she received her degree of veterinary medicine from Florida and will get your pet the best care. She's great with animals and is very thoughtful and very direct and thorough to me. She won't order a bunch of unnecessary medical tests for you just to make some more cash. And if needed, she refers to great vet specialists that aren't going to tell you a procedure is necessary if it isn't, just to make a quick buck. Definitely go here if you want the best for your pets!

Dr.Hutson saw my beloved 10 year old GSD this Tuesday. She disdained doing a bloodtest because she said the results would not be helpful. The next morning another vet did a bloodtest and found my dog to be anemic - at a 50% red cell level. She did not insert a needle in his swollen abdomen to determine whether his fluid was blood or other. The subsequent vet did so and determined it to be blood.
She misquoted me what she was going to charge and has refused to correct the charge. What she did recommend was an ultrasound which she doesn't do in house and then probably surgery - thousands of dollars which as several vets have now concurred would probably at best have given him several months of poor living.
I find the very game of the practice a complete misnomer and -unfortunately- Dr.Hutson incompetent and she appears to value the money she collected more than keeping her word.

This is the third time that I have been to the clinic and plan to continue bringing my boxer there. Dr. Hutson is the best and gets down on the floor with your animal, calming the situation immediately. She really cares for her patients and it shows. She is very matter of factly about any problem that presents itself and tries to offer suggestions that can cut costs in some proceedures.
I have sung the praises of the office to all of my friends with animals. In each case, the friends have returned to thank me for directing them to the Compassionate Care Animal Center.

Dr. Hutson and company are a cut above! We owe a debt of gratitude for the level of care all of our dogs have received at Compassionate Care Animal Clinic. We wouldn't go anywhere else, just ask Sweet Pea, Twister, Casey and Tango! They have dealt with just about everything and Dr. Hutson and her staff have been there for them through all of it; from the routine to the complex. Our thanks to all of the staff at Compassionate Care Animal Clinic.
We never hesitate to recommend Dr. Hutson to our friends. If you want first rate care and a knowledgeable staff this is the place for you.

Dr. Hutson, and her team, are wonderful! My husband and I have 2 doxie rescues and recently found Dr Hutson, as we weren't 100% happy with our prior vet. Our pups have great sensitivity to vaccines and anesthesia, so we are always super nervous with any kind of medical procedures. Our older doxie needed to have a couple of procedures performed, and Dr. Hutson spent an incredible amount of time and energy educating us throughout the entire process. She is a true professional, thorough, kind, patient and genuinely compassionate. She spent time with us to make us feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure, and treated our pup like she was her own. She let us ask tons of questions, and never made us feel rushed or worried. I cannot say enough about Dr. Hutson - I have such peace of mind knowing I found a vet I can trust 100%!!!!

Just brought my pup (Darla - age 14) to this vet for her first visit. Darla is scared to death of veterinarians... but with Dr. Hudson --- she didn't want to leave! She found her new best friend who carries treats! (And no... treats did not cut it with other vets... Dr Hudson was so good with Darla!)
I don't usually write reviews unless I am truly passionate (one way or another) with the service or quality or care that a business / person takes.
Just loved the technicians and doctor and the calming feel of the office!

Dr. Hudson and her staff are amazing.. I'm so glad I found her, and I agree with the other 5 star ratings here. I walked out of my previous vet's office in Boca years ago, after a staff member was pressuring me expensive and unecessary testing and had an attitude. They totally missed that my dog had swollen lymph nodes and had Cancer. Thankfully, I took Casper to see Dr. Hudson and she found it with a simple physical exam. Since we caught it early enough, he lived another 2 years with treatment which I'm very grateful for. Dr. Hudson also recently fit in my other dog for an emergency dental surgery, and did a great job. She also discovered that she has an oral cancer, so I'm very happy she was the vet to care for Chloe. Highly recommend, the staff is also very caring and considerate!

I first went to compassionate care when my senior dog hurt her leg and was in a great deal of pain. Their scheduling is great and the doctor is very quick but also thorough in examination. She's great overall and I couldn't really ask for more from someone to take care of my dog. The assistants are also very caring and will do everything they can to make sure you and your pet are in the best of care.
Dr. Hutson is extremely caring and knowledgeable, she received her degree of veterinary medicine from Florida and will get your pet the best care. She's great with animals and is very thoughtful and very direct and thorough to me. She won't order a bunch of unnecessary medical tests for you just to make some more cash. And if needed, she refers to great vet specialists that aren't going to tell you a procedure is necessary if it isn't, just to make a quick buck. Definitely go here if you want the best for your pets!

Dr.Hutson saw my beloved 10 year old GSD this Tuesday. She disdained doing a bloodtest because she said the results would not be helpful. The next morning another vet did a bloodtest and found my dog to be anemic - at a 50% red cell level. She did not insert a needle in his swollen abdomen to determine whether his fluid was blood or other. The subsequent vet did so and determined it to be blood.
She misquoted me what she was going to charge and has refused to correct the charge. What she did recommend was an ultrasound which she doesn't do in house and then probably surgery - thousands of dollars which as several vets have now concurred would probably at best have given him several months of poor living.
I find the very game of the practice a complete misnomer and -unfortunately- Dr.Hutson incompetent and she appears to value the money she collected more than keeping her word.

This is the third time that I have been to the clinic and plan to continue bringing my boxer there. Dr. Hutson is the best and gets down on the floor with your animal, calming the situation immediately. She really cares for her patients and it shows. She is very matter of factly about any problem that presents itself and tries to offer suggestions that can cut costs in some proceedures.
I have sung the praises of the office to all of my friends with animals. In each case, the friends have returned to thank me for directing them to the Compassionate Care Animal Center.

We wouldn't go anywhere else, just ask Sweet Pea, Twister, Casey and Tango! They have dealt with just about everything and Dr. Hutson and her staff have been there for them through all of it; from the routine to the complex. Dr. Hutson, and her team, are wonderful! My husband and I have 2 doxie rescues and recently found Dr Hutson, as we weren't 100% happy with our prior vet. Our pups have great sensitivity to vaccines and anesthesia, so we are always super nervous with any kind of medical procedures. Our older doxie needed to have a couple of procedures performed, and Dr. Hutson spent an incredible amount of time and energy educating us throughout the entire process. She is a true professional, thorough, kind, patient and genuinely compassionate. She spent time with us to make us feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure, and treated our pup like she was her own. She let us ask tons of questions, and never made us feel rushed or worried. I cannot say enough about Dr. Hutson - I have such peace of mind knowing I found a vet I can trust 100%!!!!
