If you are considering using this animal hospital for even a goldfish, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT. dr. Netzly, the "veterinarian", is not only unprofessional, rude, petulant, and unsavory, he is a consummate liar. I made an appointment to simply have a rabies shot given to my beloved dog. When I saw that I was five minutes late for her appointment, I called the office and communicated the fact that I would be a bit late for the appointment. I arrived exactly twelve minutes late for the appointment. This "dr" stated in a response to my review that I was 40 minutes late. A lie! And later in the appointment he told me that I was too stupid to find his offices. FACT I assume that my Ph.D. is not ample educationally for his belittling, his rudeness and his unprofessionalism in his less than modern, uncomfortable and shabby offices.I brought Sophia into the tiny examination room with a muzzle that I requested as I know that she doesn't like to be prodded and needled. I held her and this "dr" entered the room, without a hello, without introducing himself to me and asked me if I was holding her. I stated to him that I was. He said to me, and I quote, "I heard that bullshit comment before." I stood up and calmly asked him not to speak to me in that manner. He looked at me in the same manner that Sophia looks at me quizzically! I should have left at that time as I realized his negative energy and attitude was from being twelve minutes late, but I didn't. So I said let's just do this and be done with it. I grabbed Sophia around the chest and secured her muzzled head while he injected her. Somehow she then managed to wriggle backward out of the muzzle and my grip and, unfortunately, bit the "dr" on his wrist. He became inconsolable and began yelling to the vet tech to call the humane society that my shepherd mix was a vicious dog. I pleaded with him to please reconsider, that I was so sorry that she had reacted that way but he was resolute (not realizing at that point that this would be considered an occupational hazard). Then I told him that I was a Vietnam Veteran and to please give her a break for my sake. His response, and I quote, was, "I don't give a shit who you are or what you did." Sophia never bit anyone, prior to this incident and the only report on her was her off of the leash. Another lie by this 'dr'. It is my humble opinion that he should seriously consider retirement before he inflicts his negative emotions, his nasty attitude, his ramshackle offices and his unprofessionalism on another unfortunate, unprepared animal and owner.

Dr Netzley and staff were extremely kind and informative when helping me with my cat. They very helpful in fitting me in on the day I needed her seen.I would recommend them highly. I am from out of state and was so relieved to find them. They not only treated my cat but relieved my anxiety with her situation.

I brought my cat in for a checkup about 2 months ago, first time going to a vet with her. Dr. Netzley was very nice ad sounded like he knew what he was talking about, but his office did not provide my cat with what she needed. She is a fussy cat but will trust you after about 10 minutes of letting her sniff you and petting her. I told him this and he proceeded with the inspection. Every time she got uncomfortable he gave up entirely on that part of the exam. When the fecal test came back it came back negative for anything wrong. I promptly took her to Boca Veterinary like I do with my kitten since I wanted a second opinion. Dr. Netzley's stool test is called floating. It is a very simple test and tells very little. Boca vet, for $52, took her stool and sent it to a lab to d every single test. It came back that she had hookworm and they promptly had the medicine ready and waiting for pickup, which was $56 in total for that. She also trusted the Boca vet staff more as well. I would not recommend Dr. Netzley if you want a complete thorough examination of your pet.

Dr Netzley is an hands down the greatest vet ever. He has taken care of 5 of my Rotties and 1 small mixed bread over the last 20 plus years and i cant thank him enough. He not only takes care of my pets but also taken care of me. He knowledge is incredible, his thoroughness and thoughtfulness cant be beet. I would recommend Dr. Netzley to anyone looking for a vet that truly cares about you and your pets!

the Dr. may be good, but the customer service there is horrible. we waited over an hour just to purchase flea medication and needed to weigh are dog to see what dosage would be correct for his heartworm medicine. they kept saying we will be with you in a minute and never did. my fiancee also had to reexplain herself multiple times for the reason of our visit. we understand if there are appointments...but to weigh a dog it take literally less than a minute. rude service. will never be back.

So for all you 5-star reviewers, know this as fact. Years ago, I used to take all our dogs here. Our 5-lb pin-min broke her leg and she was put in a cast. Over the period of 12 weeks, it had to be taken off (X-rays to check progress) and once because she got it wet. On the day it was removed, the call to pick her up was long overdue. So I called, only to be put through to the vet. He explained that there was a "complication" and she was experiencing vertigo. When I picked her up hours later, she was near death, blind, and in extreme pain. The assistant confided in me that they don't really monitor the dogs properly under anesthesia, and she actually "died" on the table. They were able to revive her in the previously stated condition. To make it worse, I was told this wasn't the first time it happened with her. We rushed her to the 24-hour emergency vet, where she was placed in an oxygen tank for over 24 hours. When released, it was with no promises that she would be the same or her sight would return. Over $5,000 later and the scare of a lifetime (she was only 2 at the time) God blessed us. Her sight returned ten weeks later, and today at age 8, she's as feisty as ever. I have never returned and if I could have, would have sued for negligence!!! BE CAREFUL WHEN GOING TO THIS ANIMAL "HOSPITAL!"

This was the first time I ever left a Vet and felt really good about the treatment AND price! My fur-baby left happy too! This is her new Vet!

I am new to Florida and was recommended to them by a local animal rescue organization.I have two senior dogs and they gave me great care and attention. What I love about this office is that it is small and they take the time to talk with you, evaluation and do not push test after test after....It's a small office and the staff are all very welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel very fortunate to have found this vet.

My dog woke up with an eye infection on a Saturday morning. I called my regular vet but they didn't answer. I called around and Boynton Beach Animal Hospital is the only one I could get an appointment with. It was 11:00am and the receptionist told me to come right in. The vet and staff were very knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend them!

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I have been using Dr. Netzley for 16 years and as a long time pet owner have found him and his staff to be professional, caring and intent on supplying me with the information necessary to keep my pets healthy. In fact, it was through Dr. Netzley's care that one of my dogs lived a lot longer than expected.
I have nothing but praise for this practice.

This place is incredible ! The number one thing I enjoyed was Dr.Netzly and his staff really advising me of every scenario possible for treatments . Most vet clinics give you a laundry list of what needs to be done and don't really explain the purpose behind all of them and with my chihuahua that likes to get into everything you will know if you have a small dog that it's important to keep them out harm but I was treated so well and my baby was treated like a queen !!! Thank you !!!!!

My experience wasn't a very good one. My puppy had his teeth cleaned and two teeth pulled. Dr. Netzley never came out of his office to speak to me. Later that evening my puppy was vomiting and couldn't breathe when I called his office, the Recording gave me a # for an emergency hospital.. After many tests, antibiotics, and shots for vomiting he was released. The only contact , after Dr. Netzley received papers from the hospital was from his office staff. The Vet never called me. He just is not the caring Vet I want for my puppy.

Netzly, the "veterinarian", is not only unprofessional, rude, petulant, and unsavory, he is a consummate liar. I made an appointment to simply have a rabies shot given to my beloved dog. Dr. Netzley was very nice ad sounded like he knew what he was talking about, but his office did not provide my cat with what she needed. Dr Netzley is an hands down the greatest vet ever. He has taken care of 5 of my Rotties and 1 small mixed bread over the last 20 plus years and i cant thank him enough. He not only takes care of my pets but also taken care of me. He knowledge is incredible, his thoroughness and thoughtfulness cant be beet. I would recommend Dr. Netzley to anyone looking for a vet that truly cares about you and your pets!

EXCELLENT!!! I left my previous Vet because I was unhappy and I chose this one based on the reviews and I am so glad I did! The Dr. and staff were very good with my nervous dog and they explained everything that she needed and why. This was the first time I ever left a Vet and felt really good about the treatment AND price! My fur-baby left happy too! This is her new Vet!

My dog woke up with an eye infection on a Saturday morning. I called my regular vet but they didn't answer. I called around and Boynton Beach Animal Hospital is the only one I could get an appointment with. It was 11:00am and the receptionist told me to come right in. The vet and staff were very knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend them!

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I have been using Dr. Netzley for 16 years and as a long time pet owner have found him and his staff to be professional, caring and intent on supplying me with the information necessary to keep my pets healthy. In fact, it was through Dr. Netzley's care that one of my dogs lived a lot longer than expected.

This place is incredible ! The number one thing I enjoyed was Dr.Netzly and his staff really advising me of every scenario possible for treatments . Most vet clinics give you a laundry list of what needs to be done and don't really explain the purpose behind all of them and with my chihuahua that likes to get into everything you will know if you have a small dog that it's important to keep them out harm but I was treated so well and my baby was treated like a queen !!!
