I just wanted to say once that my dog Emma is not feeling better, and that I did not feel well during my visit. First I had to wait in a room where in the background the employees only laughed. I did not laugh because my dog was hurting. I found that impossible.
Then the doctor came he said no word did not ask what the dog has.
When he said that it could be a muscle inflamition medications were written down two different.
then the bill came up i asked the assistants why my dog was not examined properly like ears, eyes the teeth and maybe listen to the heart. He did not know the dog at all.
The assistant said only if you want we can still do that. Great, I thought.
Very friendly, I did not find the assistant who cleaned the anal. But no matter.
then in the report it said that it is the right side of my dog the doctor said it was the left side too.
And the worst part is that I also got the wrong drug I should get a muscle relaxer but it was for diarrhea. And my dog got diarrhea for the next 2 days.
That's not allowed to happen. Had to pay 200 dollars where nothing helped I'm not sure if it really is the right tablets. I am very disappointed. Anyway, my dog is not better she feels worse .
I will look for another competent veterinarian and I would like to have my money back

I really love this clinic. All of the staff has always been caring, friendly and helpful. They clearly love animals. Dr Stanton and Dr B are thorough and seem so loving and compassionate towards my dog. I feel like they take great care of my pet. Highly recommend. They are up front with pricing.

DO NOT MAKE YOUR DOG SUFFER. This place is all about getting your money.
I took my dog here after he started rapidly losing weight. One vet found a mass in his abdomen, took an x-ray and an ultrasound and said he couldn't see anything, so disregarded the mass. They ran every test under the sun on my dog and gave me countless medications for him over the span of 4 months.
After my dog had pooped blood, I ran him into Santa Cruz, and again after a FOUR hour visit, they sent me home with not only more medication, but this time a dog that was dripping blood out of his rear end. When I took him back inside, the vet tech said "oh, it'll pass when he uses the bathroom again" completely ignoring the fact that my dogs hind legs are covered in blood. I told her I was not putting him in my car while bloody, and she then got the hint that he needed to be washed.
Long story short, his last vet visit was to a more realistic and caring vet who let me know that his health issues were most likely stemming from the mass in his abdomen, but he was so sick at that point, I was not going to make him suffer through surgery and recovery. If the mass was cared about by Dr. Gordon in the first place, my dog may still be here.

We have taken all of our pets there for years. Our poodle LOVES to go, no fear at all. She starts wagging her tail as soon as we tell her where she is going, as she thinks it is her big social hour to visit all of her "friends" who work there.

This place is the best for your small animal/exotic pet's needs! We had an emergency with our guinea pigs and they took us in last minute even on a Saturday close to closing time. And also they educate you on how to take care of your animals if you're still new to owning the pet you chose. Another time we had to bring in one of our guinea pigs because he wasn't eating, it turns out their molars sometimes get too big and they can't eat and there's really nothing to do for them at that point, so they were very compassionate and we had to put him down. They even gave us a biodegradable bag to take Patrick home to bury. You don't have to choose this option, there are other options, but we chose to bury him. This is a great place, low-cost and they fit you in and educate you as well! Very nice staff! They were even thoughtful enough to send us a sympathy card for 'Ol Patrick.

We had an emergency with our guinea pigs and they fit us in even though it was a Saturday and almost closing time. They helped us out tremendously and educated us as well regarding the guinea pigs. One of ours passed away because their molars sometimes get too big to eat anything. They were very compassionate and gave us back our Patrick in a biodegradable bag to bury, we chose that option, you do have other options if that's not what you'd prefer. They were even thoughtful enough to send a sympathy card. This place is great!

I highly recommend Santa Cruz! On 7/1/16 i found this beautiful dog after he was hit by a car and left in bad shape, i called plenty of vets around Brandon and the only place that was willing to see us as an emergency was Santa Cruz. The staff are amazing and Dr Gordon came to see me right away! I ended up having to take the dog (whom i named Brutus because he had no owners) to an orthopedic surgeon at Blue Pearl. He is happy now thanks to Santa Cruz and their partner Blue Pearl!

I highly recommend Santa Cruz! On 7/1/16 i found this beautiful dog after he was hit by a car and left in bad shape, i called plenty of vets around Brandon and the only place that was willing to see us as an emergency was Santa Cruz. The staff are amazing and Dr Gordon came to see me right away! I ended up having to take the dog (whom i named Brutus because he had no owners) to an orthopedic surgeon at Blue Pearl. I do feel like I get overcharged, every time I go my dog gets a fecal exam and its $28, if you don't ask questions about what the shots your pup is getting they won't tell you. If you are a first timer ask all the questions you want even if you think it may sound dumb

Santa Cruz has been taking care of my "Fabulous 5 Felines" for several years. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. Other businesses could learn from them on how to deliver customer service. They always explain in detail from x-rays, photos, etc. what my furry mates issues are. I have never felt pressured to do any of the medical treatments. They get to the root of the problem, present the facts and options, and the final decision is always up to me. I cannot thank them enough for saving two of my cats that I had been nickeled and dimed at a previous veterinarian office with minimal results. Thank you Santa Cruz! You are the best in the Brandon area.

Dr. Busciglio is by far the kindest most understanding vet I've ever dealt with. We have been many times over the years, and although I've tried other offices, I always come back here, especially in dire situations. They are always accommodating in every way, from scheduling, finances, and what is best for us all around. I will never go anywhere else again. Thank you to the wonderful team there, I don't know how many times I may have lost my pup if I'd been somewhere else.

They ran every test under the sun on my dog and gave me countless medications for him over the span of 4 months.
After my dog had pooped blood, I ran him into Santa Cruz, and again after a FOUR hour visit, they sent me home with not only more medication, but this time a dog that was dripping blood out of his rear end. When I took him back inside, the vet tech said "oh, it'll pass when he uses the bathroom again" completely ignoring the fact that my dogs hind legs are covered in blood. I told her I was not putting him in my car while bloody, and she then got the hint that he needed to be washed.
Long story short, his last vet visit was to a more realistic and caring vet who let me know that his health issues were most likely stemming from the mass in his abdomen, but he was so sick at that point, I was not going to make him suffer through surgery and recovery. If the mass was cared about by Dr. Gordon in the first place, my dog may still be here.

We have taken all of our pets there for years. Our poodle LOVES to go, no fear at all. She starts wagging her tail as soon as we tell her where she is going, as she thinks it is her big social hour to visit all of her "friends" who work there.

This place is the best for your small animal/exotic pet's needs! We had an emergency with our guinea pigs and they took us in last minute even on a Saturday close to closing time. And also they educate you on how to take care of your animals if you're still new to owning the pet you chose. Another time we had to bring in one of our guinea pigs because he wasn't eating, it turns out their molars sometimes get too big and they can't eat and there's really nothing to do for them at that point, so they were very compassionate and we had to put him down. They even gave us a biodegradable bag to take Patrick home to bury. You don't have to choose this option, there are other options, but we chose to bury him. This is a great place, low-cost and they fit you in and educate you as well! Very nice staff! They were even thoughtful enough to send us a sympathy card for 'Ol Patrick.

We had an emergency with our guinea pigs and they fit us in even though it was a Saturday and almost closing time. They helped us out tremendously and educated us as well regarding the guinea pigs. One of ours passed away because their molars sometimes get too big to eat anything. They were very compassionate and gave us back our Patrick in a biodegradable bag to bury, we chose that option, you do have other options if that's not what you'd prefer. They were even thoughtful enough to send a sympathy card. This place is great!

I highly recommend Santa Cruz! On 7/1/16 i found this beautiful dog after he was hit by a car and left in bad shape, i called plenty of vets around Brandon and the only place that was willing to see us as an emergency was Santa Cruz. The staff are amazing and Dr Gordon came to see me right away! I ended up having to take the dog (whom i named Brutus because he had no owners) to an orthopedic surgeon at Blue Pearl. He is happy now thanks to Santa Cruz and their partner Blue Pearl!

I highly recommend Santa Cruz! On 7/1/16 i found this beautiful dog after he was hit by a car and left in bad shape, i called plenty of vets around Brandon and the only place that was willing to see us as an emergency was Santa Cruz. The staff are amazing and Dr Gordon came to see me right away! I ended up having to take the dog (whom i named Brutus because he had no owners) to an orthopedic surgeon at Blue Pearl. I do feel like I get overcharged, every time I go my dog gets a fecal exam and its $28, if you don't ask questions about what the shots your pup is getting they won't tell you. If you are a first timer ask all the questions you want even if you think it may sound dumb

Santa Cruz has been taking care of my "Fabulous 5 Felines" for several years. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. Other businesses could learn from them on how to deliver customer service. They always explain in detail from x-rays, photos, etc. what my furry mates issues are. I have never felt pressured to do any of the medical treatments. They get to the root of the problem, present the facts and options, and the final decision is always up to me. I cannot thank them enough for saving two of my cats that I had been nickeled and dimed at a previous veterinarian office with minimal results. Thank you Santa Cruz! You are the best in the Brandon area.

Dr. Busciglio is by far the kindest most understanding vet I've ever dealt with. We have been many times over the years, and although I've tried other offices, I always come back here, especially in dire situations. They are always accommodating in every way, from scheduling, finances, and what is best for us all around. I will never go anywhere else again.
