I was shocked by the fantastic service I experienced at Kindness Animal Hospital West. I am a new owner Lion Head Bunny and have an awfully busy schedule. I walked in after a long day at work for just a nail clipping, Friday 8/9 close to their closing time hoping I could make it. They allowed my bunny to see the doctor even though we didn't make an appointment. The doctor and assistant treated my bunny as they would treat their own. They were quick and able to provide a wellness check and a nail clipping last minute for an extreme affordable price. They printed out a document of all the helpful information I need to maintain the health of my recently rescued bunny. I learned tons about my bunny I never knew before. All of the ladies at the front counter were welcoming, helpful and happy and even helped me with the cage on the way out. I am relieved that I was able to check everything off my list before I had to leave my bunny with a sitter before my vacation. Kindness Animal Hospital West exceeded my expectations and I will never go any where else. Thank you to all the staff that helped me during my visit! :) Read Less

Nothing but praise for the amazing staff at Kindness Animal Hospital!!! I had to board my two cats for 9 days while I was on vacation, which was hard but I knew they were in awesome hands. I called the kennel staff daily to check up on Mocha and Merlot, being reassured of their eating, playing and bathroom habits. When boarding your pet, the staff takes extra care to ensure they spend quality hours outside of their cage, playing, interacting with and walking around. I can sing equally awesome praises when it comes to the veterinarian care as well. When Mocha was sick, they helped identify the best care plan for her that also was reasonable for my wallet. My wife and I have been coming to Kindness Animal Hospital sense 2007. We adopted our first rescue, which was a malamute full-blooded, and have not heard back from them since. We split her time between Orlando Florida and Cape Coral Florida. Before I met my wife , of 10 years, we went to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital in Orlando. We have taken two of our rescue animals there over the 10 years to be put down because of age. I myself have been in Cape Coral before ever meant one wife and with that and our first dog together I took two Kindness Animal Hospital. They have absolutely the kind of stuff that you will ever know. We had an issue with one of her first cats and he had a scratch in his eye. Dr. Green, who is ad the West location , took me in and was willing to show me everything within his eye that she saw. I've never had another that do that. This is what sold me on them from the very beginning. Their staff is absolutely amazing kind and accommodating. Not only do they know who you are but they know your pet by name. They'll do what they need to do to make you feel comfortable and make your pet feel comfortable. Yes they need to take blood or give your dog or cat shot and you're not comfortable with them taking them in the back they will do it in front of you so that you know exactly what's going on. These folks are the most incredible kindest staff that you would ever know in your life. The doctors weather you know them or not will be your best friends. They have no problem showing you letting you be there do what you need to do that you were comfortable with your pet within their hands. We have recommended them too many folks including my in-laws who have boarded their dog with them many many times. They are probably the most trustworthy kind and trustful people that I have dealt with in two different cities and four different counties. Read Less

We moved to Cape Coral in May 2016 with our 3 dogs.  We immediately sought a vet clinic as a priority.  We were fortunate to find Kindness and a particular vet with whom we immediate felt comfortable with and who made our dogs a priority.  Within a couple of months, that vet left the practice (or was forced out?) very suddenly.  We were not given any information as to where that vet went or why.  We were devastated but still needed care for our aging pets.  Unfortunately, the replacement was NOTHING like the original and things deterioted quickly in my opinion.  Instead of an energetic, aggressive and leading edge approach, we were paired with a cold, clinical, fee hungry individual who seemed to care less about the patient and more about the money and the clock as it pertained to her schedule.  At times she was condescending and judgemental and seems to not give much care to what we said and more about what she thought as the authority.  I'm surprised she even remembered ours pet's name.A recent trip with our pet who had stopped eating and was experiencing gastrointestinal issues resulted in over $500 in various tests (blood work, abdominal ultrasound and more) only to be told she didn't know what was wrong!  A neighbor's dog with the same symptoms at another clinic was told it was from fertilizer ingestion, common at this time of the year, and got treated for less than $150.  Our dog had a history of cancer of the abdominal tissue, not the abdominal cavity, and we feel the vet overreacted due to this.  Just our opinion.Their facilities are old and outdated.  Exam rooms are tiny and very clinical.  They are way overpriced and charge for any and every conceivable thing.  Office visit charges are charged each time you walk in even if it's an ongoing treatment that hasn't been fully diagnosed.  In my opinion this is unfair and unwarranted. The only good thing I have to say for them is that they responded quickly to our request to have our pets records transferred to another vet clinic where our original vet ended up moving to. The only reason  we gave 2 stars as opposed to 1 is for the few months our original vet was with the practice before leaving to go elsewhere...smart move as it turns out! Read Less

We recently worked with Dr. Morgan and the staff at Kindness Animal Hospital after our dog, Bailey, became ill. Their care, assessment and communication through the whole process was exemplary. This past weekend, when it became clear that Bailey was dying (acute kidney failure), we scheduled her euthanasia to take place with Dr. Morgan. We encountered nothing but the highest level of kindness, care, and respect from Dr. Morgan and her staff during this difficult time. They verbally walked us through every step of what was to take place, provided us and Bailey comfort through the procedure, and allowed us as much time as we needed to grieve and mentally collect ourselves before our sad departure home. As heartbreaking as this whole process has been, my family will be forever grateful that Bailey was shown kindness, care, respect and comfort during her final weeks and moments . We send a very special thank you to Dr. Morgan and all the staff at the Kindness Animal Hospital for making this process as easy as possible. Read Less

Dear Dr. Morgan, Frankie, Autumn and Kindness Animal Hospital West staff, My wife and I would like to thank all of you for the gracious and kind treatment we received when we brought our cat Sandy in for his final visit on May 11, 2016. It was a very difficult and emotional time, especially for my wife, to have to make the decision that, in his own best interest, it was finally time to say goodbye. The gentle consideration exhibited by all your staff was more personal and heartfelt than we had any right to expect. While it did not assuage the difficulty of the ultimate decision, the empathy exhibited by all of you went a long way to lessen the resulting trauma. We would also like to thank you for your sensitive follow up. Dr. Morgan's and Frankie's sincere concern and sympathy could not have been more apparent. Autumn's tear inducing emotional poem and the paw print memorial keepsake, while absolutely unnecessary, made us sure of our decision to come to you in the first place. You have all demonstrated a great love for animals, and we felt that you showed that to Sandy in particular. He had a wonderful personality and had never been any trouble at any time whatsoever. Sandy and my wife had bonded just as a mother and son. So it is with much gratitude that we thank you for making his last hour as peaceful, gentle and loving as possible. We still miss him, as does our other cat Susie, and we probably always will. Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts, for caring for and loving our Sandy in his life, as well as in his death. Sincerely, Mr. & Mrs. Peter Perry Read Less

This is a wonderful clinic with very nice, caring veterinarians. I have had no issues with the doctors, and they truly seem to care about your pet like it was their own. My issue is their prices. OH. MY. GOODNESS. I had to bring my cat in for a UTI; it cost me over $250. Not happy, but fine. That's not the worst part, though. I was told to come back in 2 weeks for a follow-up; I was also told that if the issue was not resolved, I would not have to pay, because it's an issue they've already addressed and were not successful. Well, I brought her in today, and the issue was actually worse. When I go to check out, I was told it was another $250. I told the receptionist that I was told it's no charge if the issue is NOT resolved. She corrected me, telling me it's no charge if the issue IS resolved. Yeah...... So, what's the incentive for them to remedy the problem in the first place then?!? If they have to charge such astronomical prices because they have to cover such high overhead costs, they could hire a few less bitchy receptionists. Read Less

This place will try to take any money possible from you. They misdiagnosed my moms dog who was having a hypoglycemic attAck with parvo then told me there's no way the test was inaccurate even though 1.) the line was incredibly faint and 2.) she had to the parvo vaccine only 8 days prior and after doig even the slightest bit of research it says if a dog has had the parvo vaccine 4-10 days prior it can create a false positive (even on MERCKS(manufactuar of the test they use) web archives it states the same info.... My dog was administered dextrose at Chiquita animal hospital prior to coming to kindness and was completely fine after. Then they tell me "oh well since she's so small that's why it was faint" (????) They kept her overnight and told me in the morning "great news she's doing fine" then when asked if they did the CBC test the doctor proceeded to tell us "no" they just "monitored her" so basically we paid an insane amount for literally nothing Anyways....1,500 later she's still fine probably because she never had parvo. Kindness animal Hospital is such a wonderful vet office. My girls, Roxy and Stella have only been treated at Kindness. Dr Boozer and Dr Salcedo have always taken great care of both of my girls. The Technicians, especially Frankie, know my girls on sight and always are warm and make a point to say hello. He never fails to share some tip with me on how to care for my pugs, whether it be, how to sneak a pill to them to how to help teach the little one to simmer down a little. He is always interested in how they are doing, what they are up to and if all is well. When I bring Roxy in, he never fails to ask about her sister Stella. The doctors have always taken great care of the girls as well. They keep them healthy and I am always able to bring them in. Additionally, the kennel services are first rate. I know my girls are so well taken care of when i go out of town. Ali is like a second mother to both girls. they love her and are always excited to see her! We initially brought our now 10 year old Labrador retriever here 2 years ago after moving to Cape Coral from Connecticut. We now have three labs all clients of Dr. Morgan and the friendly animal loving staff at Kindness.  They have treated our oldest through two cancer episodes.  Welcomed and helped to heal our shy rescue from Lee County.  Plus, they keep allowing my terror back into their office!   I have always had every procedure explained beforehand and estimates were fairly exact. My dogs range in age and personality but Dr. Morgan, Frank and the rest of the staff can relate to each of them in a calm manner.  Everyone at Kindness truly cares about your pet.  The dogs are not afraid to go to the vet, or be boarded overnight.

Read Less

Took my 2 dogs in to get a wellness exam. That's about all I would do there. Walked out spending almost $200 for a 15 minute check up on my Lab and a 5 minute exam on my Yorkie. They quoted me almost $900 for a teeth cleaning and to have 2 skin tags/bumps removed from my Lab. Quoted me $350 to neuter my 6.5 lbs Yorkie. I had my yellow lab neutered for around $120. I won't be going back as they seem to price gouge their customers.
