The team at SWVCC are unbelievable. They are personal, compassionate, professional, and the absolute best in Cape Coral. They've seen me through scares with my 9 year old lab/pit rescue Blondie, given me guidance with my adopted (not bought) young English Bulldog (who I love but has some serious prior issues), and been friendly and inviting to me and my 3 children (2 10-yo daughters and a husband lol!). Dr. Mullins is the best, but his team deserves credit as well. All the assistants care deeply about us and our fur babies, but I have to give a special shout-out to Rachael and Sarah. If you are looking for a vet to count on like family, to be there to answer questions and investigate all concerns, but to do it reasonably and affordable, go to Southwest Veterinary Care Center in the Publix plaza at Cape Coral Pkwy and Chiquita. Dr. King and the entire staff are wonderful. I have been taking my 3 little ones to them for 2+ years. I have never been to a vet that shows their love for animals and treats our babies like their own. When I picked up my little Yorkie, after a cleaning with teeth extractions, the tech. had a sheet tied around her neck and had Peanut cradled in it while she worked to keep him comfortable. I love that Dr. King gives them a kiss on the top of the head before any evaluation/shots begin. I have a 16 year old Havanese, who does have health issues it meant a lot to me when the front desk was able to give me information for a service that will come to my home and pick up my baby and help us through the next step.. We have 4 cats & had 2 dogs, so finding a good quality Veterinary doctor is important to our family. We have lived in Cape Coral for 10 years. We had our pet family to 2 other offices here in the Cape.Our one dog had several health issues that the other offices did not seem to know how to help our dog. We brought Sasha to see Dr. King & her staff. They took the time to listen to our issues & truly were concerned about helping us find solutions for our beloved dog. Through the years, we along with Dr. King & her excellent staff did everything for our Sasha. Sad to say her illness was beyond our control. Dr. King & the caring staff helped us through a very difficult time once we made the decision to let our beautiful Sasha cross the Rainbow Bridge. We are lucky to have such a wonderful & loving veterinary doctor who has a staff that are always there to listen & look for solutions for any health issues . Dr. King and her staff have been nothing but wonderful to me and my family! One of the first times we went in, we had to have my precious cat, Pumpkin put to sleep. They handled her with such good loving care and they handled our family and same manner! My dog rocky has been very ill lately and they have been very helpful in trying to get him the best of care! working in conjunction with the emergency hospital in Bonita Springs, what he is now back home and hopefully on the mend! It was a tragic, sudden event that was wholly unexpected, considering her stability through an uncomplicated surgery. While the incidence of anesthetic death is very low (the only loss our team has experienced), we understand that when it happens to your pet, it feels like 100%. The hardest part is that what has happened cannot be undone; however, our team has been motivated to grow from this devastating experience.
