I don't ever make complainants towards businesses or people unless I feel what they did was absolutely wrong and/or they are unwilling to make amends to their mistakes. I would advise anyone who is or plans on taking their beloved fur babies to Viscaya Prado Animal Hospital to NOT be seen by the Veterinarian Dr. Dean. I cannot speak for any other Veterinarians there but him I can say that he is a liability to your animals health and I am almost tempted to file a lawsuit against him for animal malpractice. Dr. Dean should be more experienced before dealing with actual animals. He gave me 2 days with my beloved fur daughter rather than the 2 weeks maybe 2 months I could've had with her if he would've taken the time to care and not just want to make money off of us. Let me ask you this, if you took your sick child into the Dr would you let them give him or her a flu vaccine? NO! Because their immune system is already under attack because of what they're fighting off. I have had my baby since I was 15 years old, I am 24 now. I let an ego, money driven, man fast act the cancer that was in my baby. I get she was terminal and I believe everything happens for a reason but she didn't have to go that quickly. We called and explained everything to them, talked to Dr. Dean himself all he had to say is well he asked for the vaccine (youre the Dr, the professional Sir, I'm coming to you because I am not and am trusting you) and he has to respectfully disagree. That's no way to make a situation right especially when a family is grieving the loss of their fur family. Please be careful not only at this Vet but every vet, do your research on Vaccines, and get blood work done on your animals as often as you can afford. It will be worth it in the end.(Yelp won't let me post the full story, if you'd like to hear it feel free to email me at
