We have seen two different docs at the Viscaya location and both were very caring, compassionate vets. All of the staff seem to really love what they do and there is a very family-like vibe to the business. Both of my dogs acted very comfortable and at ease with all of the staff. It's hard choosing a vet out of a long list in this area, so I hope the reviews here help people make a decision I know they'll be happy with 😊

There is not a time I have called that they haven't had me come in that da.y knowing pet owners are concerned for their babies and want help. I commend them. My old vet would be 7 working days out and...
There is not a time I have called that they haven't had me come in that da.y knowing pet owners are concerned for their babies and want help. I commend them. My old vet would be 7 working days out and ten "We'll try to squeeze you in". Who needs that when your pet is vomiting and unable to pre or whatever ailment. As it is she failed to recognize a serious kidney failure which is now being treated with 2 dialysis treatments a week. Could that have been avoided? Perhaps. We'll never know but his life is shortened dramatically because of not following up with us. But this clinic - both locations- are there 24/7 365 days a year.

For the first time in a long time I was surprised in a good way!!! We are new to the area, had to find a vet to follow up on medications started elsewhere. Everyone at the office is kind, compassionate and just plain awesome!!! Can not say enough good things about our experience here. Would never consider going anywhere else. Very reasonably priced also which is always a nice bonus.

Dr McKelvie and his staff are amazing! We found an injured domesticated rabbit in our yard. It had been attacked by animal and had a horrible case of ear mites and fleas. They were able to get me right in to have her looked at. They administered her flea/mite medication and her antibiotic in the visit and showed me how to administer it too so I wouldn’t have any problems nursing her back to health. Fingers crossed she makes a full recovery! I can’t thank this staff enough for getting me on the right track to get her recovered!

If i could give this "vet" hospital a negative 10 star rating i would. About a week ago my boyfriends mother and my boyfriend and i took their 63 POUND pitbull in due to him slicing one of his front paw pads almost completely off. We get there and his mom goes in to let them know we were here after calling ahead of time to which they said to bring him in immediately. My boyfriend and i stay in the car with him as to keep the dog still and to keep paper towels on the wound that is bleeding profusely. His mom then comes out and says that a vet tech was going to come out to check how bad the wound was....the tech comes out and doesnt even look at the wound and turns around and goes back in telling us we had to wait because it was surgery day and they had other poeple who were ahead of us(none of which were emergencies) we then sat in the car for over an hour trying to keep his 63 POUND dog still and to keep pressure on the wound which had already bleed through at least a whole roll of paper towels and not once did the vet office offer to come out to at least put a wrapping on it. Finally they tell us to bring him in and we get into the office and put him on the table and there was blood everywhere and then they hand us a towel for US to clean up the mess. The tech then FINALLY looked at the wound and in her exact words "oh wow that is a really bad slice" she then goes to get bandages to put on his paw to help us control the bleeding.and then to top it all off they wanted to charge over 400 dollars. Now today their dog is now out of pain medication. His mom has called to get a refill but theyre "too busy" to fill out a script and put it at the front desk and said it will be over 2 hours before we can pick it up. So now this dog has to been in pain literially all day because this "vet" clearly doesnt care one bit about the animals they are treating. All they care about is ripping people off.

I've been taking my dog here for 12 and a half years and they are the nicest staff all the doctors are very knowledgeable and will do anything to help you help your pets plus their prices are better than anybody's around and now they're 24 hours 6 days a week.

We've been customer of both location for more than 15 years and could not give higher praise. We've been through a dog with hip displaysia, two diabetic cats, a cat with cancer, a dog with allergies, a rescue dog with a broken leg, and all the other aliments that go hand in hand with being pet owners. We wouldn't go any where else.

The only place I take my fur kids! Since we arrived in this area 15 years ago, we have used this and the Del Prado location as our best source of care for our dogs and cats. We tried two others, but once we came here, that was it. We rescue, and we presently have 2 dogs and 9 cats, but we have had more, and they have always gotten superb care here. They are not close to us location-wise, but I will happily travel to take my little ones there. They have seen whole generations come and go with sensitivity and patience. They also have given us a discount for being a group!!!

We have seen two different docs at the Viscaya location and both were very caring, compassionate vets. All of the staff seem to really love what they do and there is a very family-like vibe to the business. Both of my dogs acted very comfortable and at ease with all of the staff. It's hard choosing a vet out of a long list in this area, so I hope the reviews here help people make a decision I know they'll be happy with 😊

There is not a time I have called that they haven't had me come in that da.y knowing pet owners are concerned for their babies and want help. I commend them. For the first time in a long time I was surprised in a good way!!! We are new to the area, had to find a vet to follow up on medications started elsewhere. Everyone at the office is kind, compassionate and just plain awesome!!! Can not say enough good things about our experience here. Would never consider going anywhere else. Very reasonably priced also which is always a nice bonus.

Dr McKelvie and his staff are amazing! We found an injured domesticated rabbit in our yard. It had been attacked by animal and had a horrible case of ear mites and fleas. They were able to get me right in to have her looked at. They administered her flea/mite medication and her antibiotic in the visit and showed me how to administer it too so I wouldn’t have any problems nursing her back to health. Fingers crossed she makes a full recovery! I can’t thank this staff enough for getting me on the right track to get her recovered!

If i could give this "vet" hospital a negative 10 star rating i would. About a week ago my boyfriends mother and my boyfriend and i took their 63 POUND pitbull in due to him slicing one of his front paw pads almost completely off. I've been taking my dog here for 12 and a half years and they are the nicest staff all the doctors are very knowledgeable and will do anything to help you help your pets plus their prices are better than anybody's around and now they're 24 hours 6 days a week.

The only place I take my fur kids! Since we arrived in this area 15 years ago, we have used this and the Del Prado location as our best source of care for our dogs and cats.
