I took my dog in for urinary problems.  She had been on antibiotics to see if it was an infection but the problem kept recurring.  They did a sonogram and found a mass in her bladder.  Most likely cancerous.  They put her on anti-inflammatory medication which helped immensely with her frequent urination problems.  Sadly, her case is terminal but the staff was very compassionate and helpful.  We do not know how long we will have her with us but we are grateful for the doctors and staff here for helping us through this last journey with our sweet pup. Took my Doberman here after his ear cropping, have since changed vets. They messed up three of his tapings, and now months down the road, he had to go through a corrective ear surgery, that still may not work. This establishment has NO business dealing with ear tapings and croppings. No tutorial was provided, as they took him back and it immediately fell off by the time we entered the car. When I called back and asked, the person said it may have been a "new tech". Clearly, a "new tech" doesn't know how to tape ears well, or they wouldn't have come off 12 minutes after the fact. We take him for weekly tapings, because they do not last long. We pay each week, because I rather it be done by a professional, and are very committed, so it is no hassle at all. My rabbit was having troubles with one of his eyes so i was referred to Dr Sing by a friend and it was such a bad experience for me and for my rabbit. For starters while he was checking his mouth to make sure excessive tooth growth wasn't the cause of his watery eye his thumb was pushing on his bad eye what! Like that eye is causing him problems and you're not even gonna be cautious enough to make sure you're not pushing on it. Also every time i tried to comment or ask a question i was talked over or got an "are you dumb" kind of answer. After complaining to a couple family friends about my visit it came to my attention that there's a cat that's been roaming my neighborhood for at least 10 years that someone eventually took to Dr. Sing about a year ago, he was always a healthy, lively cat up until the doctor prescribed insulin saying he was a diabetic and now he's skinny, sluggish, and just looks awful every time i see him. Another case where one of my neighbors say they brought their cat to Dr. Sing just for a check up and what he prescribed for something so small ended up killing their cat. We recently had a new addition to our family - a Beautiful female Cane Corso. We decided to have her ears cropped as most Cane Corso owners do, and searched around to find a good vet who does this procedure. We discovered that there are very few vets who perform this procedure. However, after numerous phone calls, we finally found Dr. Singh at the All Pet Care Center who has excellent recommendations and utilizes lazer surgery. So we decided to have Dr. Singh perform the ear cropping procedure on our Mia and we are totally 100% satisfied with our experience at the All Pet Care Hospital and all of the staff there. I feel like this vet lied, deceived, gives false information, and only wants your money. Had X-rays done about two years ago. Currently go to another vet who reviewed X-rays only to tell us that our dog has an obvious acl tear and couldn’t believe that the vet wouldn’t have had our dog on anti inflammatory as well as pain medication. Additionally he should have recommended we see a specialist for the acl tear when it was first observed on the X-ray. Instead they recommended we give our dog monthly shots that cost upwards of $45. All they do is want to test your dog and get you to pay for any service so they can make money. They were never gentle with our dog. We stayed because we felt Dr. Rixford was decent. Unfortunately our dog is now suffering in pain because their lack of care for the pet. Additionally we had to insist that we come back for the exam as we were not invited. Not to mention, when we started going to our new amazing vet, Dunedin Animal Medical Center, the techs all told us they didn’t want to intern with all pet care because of how unorganized they are. This is the vet I always bring my dog to and after today's visit her tail was limp I figured it was cause they did a unasked for fecal rest and they tried to stick a thermometer in her rear end my dog wasn't having it so she says I'll take her in back it'll be easier my dog comes back unhappy and shaking I watched them yank her tail back and my dog was refusing she can't even wag her tail I figured it was just sore cause they yanked it wrong but not she can't move it and she won't let me touch her tail.. Dr. Singh and Dr. Rixford are fantastic! The customer service here is always excellent, no matter how busy they get. Usually we only have to wait behind one other pet owner if there's anyone there at all, but we only have cats. It seems like they get a few more dogs, so the wait may not be quite as good on that side (it's split between two lobbies). They always seem to be able to identify or guess at a problem, which is unfortunately uncommon with most vets. Selfishly, I'd say the best part is their prices beat the other vets we've seen. My son and i spent a month BEFORE we chose our pup researching veterinarians. Hesitant about ear alteration we took this serious. Dr. Singh and his staff are excellent. With great 3at reviews we decided to move forward. They use laser to perform and promote healing. They allowed us ALL the time we needed the day of the appointment, working unti their lunch to allow us to feel 100% comfortable with our decision. Let me say, I drive 2 hours EACH WAY to see this Team, I would drive farther. Marley had no evidence of residual pain or discomfort. She healed perfect and now she is a growing beautiful happy pup. Several months ago brought in my cat for a urinary obstruction. He had no crystals according to the tests, was put on a catheter and given an anti-biotic. Dr. Singh kept on telling me that the cat needed several tests ( unrelated to the obvious problem) I decided after $1200.00 to take him home. I was told the cat would probably die (scare tactic) He was hungry and alert once the medicine wore off and made a complete recovery almost immediately. I still don't understand why my animal had to be tested for things he had already been immunized for, or tested for parasites, etc. (This is a cat who has never been outside) I am glad the immediate problem was taken care of, but after that, I was obviously being "milked" with unnecessary tests and time hospitalized. (I was never called to receive the results of some of what I was charged for either) The whole atmosphere is kind of creepy and commercial, everything from the glitzy ads on the t.v. screen in the waiting room to the the overly chipper receptionists that doesn't really listen to concerns, just "how are we going to pay today?" As an added note: A woman at the pet store suggested putting several water dishes around the house to encourage water drinking after I was looking for special food or any kind of preventative help for the future. This has worked like a charm, no problems since, but if it ever happens again, not going back here. Read Less

This place is SUCH a fantastic hospital! I brought my cats here after a bad experience with Sunshine Animal Hospital on Gulf to Bay Blvd and these people were sooo incredibly friendly. They were nice to my lovely cat (who is 15 years old). The people there treat your pets like they are their own. They pet them and talk to them as if they really care and I like that. :)They also offer natural solutions as well so you can be sure that your pets get the best care for an affordable price. I've since moved and one of the things that I'm most sad about, is not being able to bring my pets here anymore. :(I fully recommend bringing your animals here. :) Read Less

An amazing veterinarian office!! I recently took my newly adopted puppy here for a check up and to get all of her shots. They schedule me for the very next day! Dr. Rixford was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with everything that she was telling me. Dr. Singh has been my parent's vet for all of their pets since the 90's, I originally was calling to see him but he was out of town. Then, about two weeks later I noticed what looked like a boil/blister on my pup's stomach. It was late at night when I noticed so I snapped a picture and sent them a message on facebook and asked if they had an idea where it could have come from. They replied the very next morning and told me what it appeared to be and that I did NOT have to come in for a check up right away (I was half expecting that, honestly) Awesome staff, Awesome vets! My first visit to All Pet Care a few months ago was a kind visit with Dr. Rixford. We discussed my almost 10year old Great Danes health. I had every reason to expect decent care from the facility & workers when i scheduled my pup, Vega, to stay June 31 PM- July 5th AM. Prior to dropping Vega off, I discussed over the phone and in person with multiple members of the staff at APC the protocol of what they do if Vega has a mess at night. They assured me that they provide bedding for the boarded dogs, & wash them if there is a mess. I showed up on the evening of June 31st with Vega, & a queen sized comforter she likes to lay on. I had signed up for the basic program to which i understood to cover potty time, & some interaction. I arrived back at All Pet Care around 10am on Tuesday July 5th to pick Vega up. My first question being "How did she do? Any incontinence or issues?" To which the girl at the desk replied that she had been working most the weekend & Vega had no fecal incontinence. I was overjoyed! They brought Vega out & there was a little light pup-dog excited chaos with an Alaskan Malamute in the waiting area so a new employee helped me get Vega & her things out to my car. The front desk girl did notice Vega had some dried fecal matter on her tail, in all this shuffle, & said outloud 'she must have had an accident this morning'. I lifted Vega into my CRV and Immediately noticed her rear end was red, raw, bloody. I asked the girl who helped me, what that was, & she went to get someone who was on call over the weekend to come out & look over Vega with me.The girl who came out just said that Vega must have rubbed herself raw on the floor. This seemed unlikely but Vega was hot & miserable looking so we left. I came home and washed off her tail... under the dried fecal matter she was missing hair with an open wound underneath and on either side of her tail she was red raw and bloody. Her nose was rubbed raw & her foot was cracked red, raw. Among a few other smaller spots of missing hair on her legs. I took pictures, applied some coconut oil to her affected areas & called APC asking to speak with the office manager. The O.M. called me back the next day & while i voiced my concerns, she spoke over me without listening, to state that Vega must have scooted all her blankets to one side of the limited space she had & laid on the hard floor rubbing herself raw....that I should have brought more cushions for her. I asked for the Care Sheets to me sent to me as well as a full refund of the money i spent. Upon receiving the care sheets there is no record of Vega having any incontinence issues or waste mess in her kennel. I am not sure what is worse...that they neglected to report or that they neglected to notice that my dog, (who was dropped off with no raw wounds), had accumulated them over her stay with them & while in their care. I can conclude that they provided unclean conditions and neglected to even alert me of her changed condition prior to picking up or upon pick up the morning of July 5th. Had i been given a phone call asking for additional services to help Vega while i was away, even at additional cost, ...i would have said YES! Had they given me a heads up to whatever caused her wounds & given me a full report of what they did to help, i would not have been so upset & much more understanding. A trusted Veterinarian Facility should have been able to notice & attempt to return my dog in the same or better condition then i left her. I have had this dog her entire life and nothing like this has ever happened to her in my care or anyone else's care. 7.11.16 Update: After an initial offer of $55/$130 boarding cost refunded, i asked for a full refund and it was granted. I do appreciate the refund and hope All Pet Care has learned from this experience on how to communicate better with pet owners and pay closer attention to each pets needs within their trusted care. Although with my personal experience, I do not recommend boarding your pet at All Pet care. Read Less

Being new to the area, I looked to recommendations from neighbors on vets nearby to take my dog for routine care. Considering the slightly further distance from our apartment (compared to other vet options), I was surprised at how many neighbors recommended All Pet Care. Although it was a bit far, we still decided to try them out based on all the positive things people had said--and I'm so glad we did. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and the wait to be seen was short, which was nice since we came in without an appointment. The vet and vet's assistant were very sweet and gentle with my dog who has high anxiety in new situations. They also both seemed very knowledgeable about my questions and concerns. Recommended! Our dogs and cat see Dr. Rixford, and usually Meghan or Brittney are their techs. They always remember our crazy little pets, and get genuinely excited to see them. I've never felt comfortable boarding, but we board them here when we need to go away since we know they're in good hands. They are the type of people who get to know your pet's little quirks, and embrace them. I could seriously write a book about how much I love this office, and will never take my pets to anyone else! By far the best place to take your pets to for the best care. I live out towards Bradenton / Sarasota area and did my research to have my pitbulls ears cropped. Not only were the prices great but they used laser surgery. So less bleeding, less painful and faster recovery. Dr. Sing makes sure you know how to continue care for your beloved pets. I have been coming to Dr. Singh for over 20 years. He has always been amazing and taken great care of my pets. The last 5 surgeries this year have all been passed off to Dr. Rixford. If i was told this up front i would have been fine with it but when I'm not told until i walk in the door that someone who has never met my cat or me is going to take her eye out i was nervous but trusted Dr. Singh. That surgery was so many nightmares and i dont think it would have been if Dr. S did the surgery like we planned for 3 months! The next 4 tumor removals on my dog were all done by her as well and did fine, just not fair to think someone else is doing it. The last thing that made my decision to not go back is when he saw my 12 yo mastiff for her suture removal and saw she could not even get up her arthritis was so bad. He had a tech call me and tell me he would not ok my script for her NSAIDs without more bloodwork, even though she had bloodwork 5 months ago. It then comes out that if i buy the pills for literally 3x the price from him he wont require more bloodwork. I have spent thousands in the past year on surgeries alone and he has the audacity to try to squeeze more money out of me in anyway possible. I'm so disappointed in the way all this went and i will now not be back. They truly care and take great care of the pets but apparently money comes first nowadays.Read Less

I came from a vet that I'd been with for 8 years.  My dog needed surgery and although my former vet had been adequate for her needs up to that point. I did not want to leave our dog there with staff who were overworked, frazzled and disorganized.  I went to Dr Springer who came up after I asked for recommendations on Facebook.  The office there is peaceful.  (Cats and dogs separate entrances)  The staff have the time to really care.  They are organized and welcoming.  Dr Springer herself is an exceptional person.  My dog LOVES Dr Springer and even wagged her tail and was calm when I brought her back after surgery.  I would highly recommend Dr Springer and her staff to others who's dogs (and cats) deserve loving, high quality care.
