They were so kind to us when our beloved baby Wonton fell ill. Although we were not able to save him, they made us feel comfortable and positive throughout the whole process. The DR. took her time when talking to us and looking at him. When he passed on, they sent us a beautiful card and helped us get him cremated as well. We love Dr. Todd! We have taken our puppy here since he was born, and I can truly say that Dr. Todd is the best. Our puppy unfortunately had some health issues, but I always knew that he was in the best possible hands with her. She sure helped us get through all those bumps in the road. She also made sure to contact the emergency vet to receive all of the information she could on my puppy's health and what she could do to help.One time I stopped in and was just getting some flea medication--she just happened to walk by and not only remembered my name and my pup's name, she even remembered that he had an ear infection at his last visit and asked how is ears were! All without looking at notes! I was amazed. I truly have never met a vet that has cared that much. She even took some time with us at the first visit to teach us how to be good puppy parents.Her pricing is also very fair. If she doesn't feel like she should charge you a certain fee for the set of services she provided you, she won't. Simple as that. For example, she requested that I bring my puppy in after his neutering procedure, but this check of his sutures was no charge. Take your pet to Dr. Todd. She truly is one of a kind! Read Less

I was worried when Dr Chip announced he was moving. He had been a fantastic vet to my 7 dogs and 3 cats for over 20 years. Now I must say I am so impressed with his very-very capable replacement! Dr. Todd is awesome, super smart and has a amazing bedside manner with all my babies. Daisy was adopted by me 6 months ago...but poor Daisy was constantly scratching herself . Subsequently...I took Daisy to the vet who was associated with the rescue 5 times to be treated for the scratching with zero results. After 6 months...I finally took Daisy (an 11 year old rescue dachshund) to Dr. Todd at Court Street Animal Hospital in Clearwater. After a bad experience at another Clearwater veterinarian, I took a chance on this veterinary hospital. My cat had blood in his urine and I knew it was serious. This wonderful doctor took him in right away, spent time with us and emediatly started treating him. He was treated for 3 days. She sent him home with medication, and a new diet. He's doing great. The hospital was spotless,the staff was careing,and Dr.Todd is one of the most careing Dr. I have ever met. I have a dog and another cat. I will put thier care into Court St. Hospital. Moved to Clearwater 1.5 yrs ago and was dreading finding a new vet for my two cats Five and Friday. Found Dr. Todd and loved her and her staff. Great care for them and was very helpful and caring as we had to make the hard decision to send them over the rainbow. 2.5 months later we now have rescued two sisters that an idiot put on Craigslist. We have four dogs that are family and are treated like it, we will do nearly anything for them! We are extradinarily pleased with Dr. Todd and the entire staff. I believe Dr. Todd is an excellent clinician while being very personable and willing to take the time to explain a diagnosis and cure. The rest of the staff is top notch, I would highly recommend Court Street Animal Hospital. We took our Clumber Spaniel to Dr. K and have continued with Dr. Todd now that she is the vet there. We are very happy with her and the staff. We have had our puppy Golden-Doodle "Abby" under Dr. Todd's care while she was practicing in Virginia.  We are at a total loss without her expertise, care, and insights about our dog. Dr. Kuykendall is incredibly rude and underqualified. I called in yesterday morning and spoke to the receptionist to set up an appointment to take my 2 dogs in to get tested for heart worms and get prescription strength flea treatment. The receptionist was very friendly and offered to contact my previous vet in California to get my paperwork faxed over. I didn't think it was necessary so I declined and we set the appointment for 4:15 PM. I took half a day off of work and showed up at 4:00PM with both of my dogs and started filling out paperwork. One of my dogs is a wolf hybrid and the other is a husky. The doctor asked if he was a wolf hybrid and I said he was. He then told me he doesn't work on wolf hybrids because they are too different. I asked how they were different and his reply was that their physiology is entirely different, so much so that he cant work on them. I told him that I was unaware of any major differences and that the fleas that bite him and my husky appear to be the same. His response was "well that's why I'm a vet and you're not."He then told me that he only works on Canines and that wolves and dogs are entirely different genus. Well Dr. Kuykendall, I 'd like to ask you how my wolf "hybrid" came to be if wolves and dogs are so radically different.  Horses and Donkeys are able to produce infertile "hybrids" known as mules, and even they are both of the same genus. Wolves and Dogs on the other hand produce fertile offspring because not only are they of the same genus, they are also the same species. A quick google search can show that dogs and wolves are clearly from the same Genus. So, Dr. Kuykendall, my advice to you is to go back to school and do some reading so that next time you want to throw your degree around and waste a customer's time you might actually know what you're talking about. I moved to Clearwater last summer with my two Springer Spaniel pups. It took me a while to find the right vet but Court Street Animal Hospital has earned my business. The vet took a good deal of time during the yearly exam to educate me on the things I might new to know as a new Floridian when it comes to my dogs. I have used their kennel services twice now and the boys love it there. The third time I had planned to use the kenneling, I had to cancel due to changed plans.
