We have been coming to this vet since we moved to Clermont, however the only and I mean ONLY reason we come back is because the VET takes good care of our pets. The front desk people are always extremely rude and are more invested in their personal conversation to check in the people who have been waiting. To top it off we are always on time, even a little early for our appointments and they always take us back at least 20-30mins late even if we are the only people in the building. Thank goodness a new vet is opening down the street. We will be taking all our pets there instead. It's just sad that the front desk people make you want to never come back. Read Less

Clermont Animal Hospital did an excellent job with my German Shepherd who had an allergic skin reaction. The staff was kind and helpful during this stressful time when my dog was desperate for relief. The vets are knowledgeable and thorough. I will continue to take my pet there as I know they care. My mother in law took her dog to treat a dewclaw that had gotten injured and was bleeding. The staff held her dog down and ripped the dewclaw out without any medication, numbing solution or anesthesia. The poor dog was nervous already and while this was happening was screaming in agony and even lost control of her bowels.This service was absolutely barbaric. I have been coming to this vet for a while with no complaints. Unfortunately the last visit my dog had to have some blood work done to determine what was wrong (visit and blood work $216.00). When results of blood work came in they said it was inconclusive and more blood work had to be done for another $106.00 and the vet standing about 5' away from my dog also told me my dog had 2 fractured teeth which needed to be taken out. By the time I left the office they handed me an estimate of just over $1,000.00. Took my dog to another vet and he looked at the blood work done by Clermont animal hospital (which they said was inconclusive) and he could see what the problem was and put my dog on the proper medication. Total cost with visit and medication $49.00. My new vet said my dogs teeth were not fractured and her teeth are very healthy. If you value your pet Don't take them to Clermont Animal Hospital. Had to wait for quite some time due to emergencies that came in early but it was worth the wait. The clinic was immaculate€, smelled clean, and the staff was super friendly and polite. The doctor was very thorough and had a wonderful bedside manner. Informative and provided great options. I've owned dogs for 20+ years and being new to the area, I was concerned. Just an incredibly unprofessional staff. Every time I go in and am waiting for a whiile, which is every single time even if I am the only customer/patient in the building, I get the pleasure of listening to their front office staff have continous and loud personal conversations. Whether it's how bad their drive to work is, how much their apartments cost and once I even got to spend ten enjoyable minutes listening to one staff member complain loudly about how bored she was.Well today was more of the same. I arrived right on time for my appointment and was told to have a seat. This was a tech appointment where my dog was only getting annual shots and so a vet was not needed. My dog was pretty stressed like he usually is when going to this vet  and kept getting more stressed as we sat there for the next ten minutes or so even though I was the only patient. When the girl finally came out my dog did not want to go with her at all. That's a first but not suprising. Without comforting him or even finding out his name she proceeds to start pulling him to the back room. I'm obviously not happy at this pointAlmost fifteen minutes later, we're only here for a few annual shots and a nail trim remember, and I am getting agitated about what is taking so long. A different girl comes out and starts stammering about how my dog's body temperature is rising rapidly. I'm freaking out. Why?  Is there something wrong with him?!! No, she says . He's just really getting stressed out but I called the doctor (no doctor on staff obviously) and she wants to know if the dog has been eating and drinking normally?  I couldn't believe it. My dog is so stressed from these people's unprofessional, uncaring and honestly incompetent behavior his life is now at risk. Animals can die if overstressed particularly to the point where their body temp is rising so rapidly.This place is a disgrace. I know one of the original owners left recently so I sure hope it was run better back then or I don't know how they stay in business. They seem to like to refer to themselves as having a "family" aptmosphere. Maybe amongst themselves but I can tell you the patients aren't part of that family that's for damn sure.STAY AWAY! This place is awesome. My girlfriend has taken her cat here for several years, but I've taken him the past two times. The staff is wonderful and knows our fur baby by name any time we come in... I'm from the city, but this little vets office makes everyone feel like Family (definitely a rarity in the city)... Also, Dr. Bork is wonderful! Read Less

We moved to Clermont in October 2016.  We love this place.  The staff are very caring, and the vets are knowledgeable.  They took their time explaining what treatment our dog needed.  We were so pleased with the wonderful atmosphere here that we had our daughter and son-in-law bring their dog here for treatment as well.  We are very happy to have found a great clinic here in Clermont. I would highly recommend this office! Our poor cat was shot with an arrow which resulted in a pretty deep wound. I didn't have an appointment and had never been here before, I just walked in and they saw us right away. They were upfront with the fees and made me feel comfortable leaving our cat in their care. We accidentally gave our tiny schnauzer a deworming dose meant for 60+ pound dog and she was flipping out. This vet was not our usual but the closest, so we brought her in as a new client and they saw her the same morning, early as possible. The front desk ladies were so incredibly sweet and professional, and kept playing with our pup and even let her wander behind the desk to look around since she was afraid. The vet was incredibly reassuring and helpful and even got us detailed estimates for teeth cleanings we were considering that wasn't at all required for them to do. Super helpful and now I'm bringing my bigger dogs there too since they did so good in our little emergency. Wish I had known there was such a good vet close to home sooner! Read Less

Love Clermont animal Hospital.... my dog Dookie has been going to them since he was a pup, he will be 9 on Christmas.... he has had everything from general check ups, being neutered, having his teeth cleaned and most recently a surgical procedure to remove a mass... the front desk staff is always polite and Sarah and Dr. Jones are the best! The staff at CAH are kind and passionate about what they do. The only thing I didn't like was when I called ahead of time to get my cat's x-rays to take to the internal medicine vet and when I came to pick them up, they were not ready. By them not being ready it delayed my cat from getting the care he needed and stressed him further. I hope in the future staff will be mindful of serious situations and ensuring records are ready when needed. That 20 minutes, could have made all the difference for my cat. First let me start by saying the Drs and front desk staff are great.Now with that said, my cat had a problem I thought was a lot worse than it was. I had told them I get paid Thursday and would be able to pay them then.I have been going to this clinic for 15 years with multiple pets. They told me they could not see her unless I paid. Their front desk told me about care-credit a credit card for medical expenses.I could understand if I had been a new customer but 15 years.Extremely disappointed in their accounting staff over this. I just adopted a new cat, and he came down with a cold over the weekend. The vet was able to see Jake the same day, and it was a great experience. Everyone from the receptionist to the Vet Tech to the Vet were very sweet, and took care of my very scared little guy. This is my new vet, and I'm glad I tried them out!Read Less

We brought in our weiner dog as she was feeling sore and didn't want to move around like she normally does. The woman vet (Martha) was very professional and came to the conclusion that it was her back. She gave us some anti inflammatory and a few pain pills. Great place to bring your pet. I brought my dog Zeus to see Dr. Wright on several occasions. Dr. Wright provided excellent care, and offered natural healing remedies, in addition to traditional drugs, as needed. His emphasis is on the pet's well being. I love Dr. Wright. Read Less
