I wanted to share my personal experience with Coco-Park Animal Hospital. I was referred by my boyfriend who obviously takes his dog there. I was very pleased to meet Dr. Saporito, she was absolutely kind to my dogs, super loving, and I was so happy that I found my dogs a new vet place well, at least that's what it seemed like. After the years, I have noticed that the office staff was always changing. Well today was the day I saw their true colors. I really don't want to get into details because I would literally have to write a bible about it. So my personal conclusion is,   THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN YOUR MONEY! SAFE YOUR SELF, YOUR PET, AND YOUR MONEY FROM THIS PLACE. This place is going downhill, the vibe is so negative you can feel it in the environment. Read Less

PET OWNERS BE AWARE!!! I would not recommend this vet. We went for ONE YEARLY shot for my dog. the Doctor first entered the room with the wrong shot. She left and returned with the correct shot (we now hope seeing how they act when you have an issue with service) and gave the shot to my dog. We then talked about a very expensive medication she put my dog on that we wanted to stop. The Doctor started her lesson and began talking about ear infections skin issues eye issues because we went against her opinion to use a medication that is very over priced. My daughter and I left feeling very disappointed in this Doctor. At the counter my daughter paid the bill . when we looked at the bill several days later we did not see the shot on the bill but paid over 45.oo between credit card and credits from the office to the vet for the ONE shot. we called the office and got a nasty office manager who did not care just wanted another $38.00 for the shot as she said the other money paid was for the time with the vet. That makes ONE $5.00 shot over $70.00 to give to your dog. Other reviews were correct read all reviews...I have asked several times to speak to the Doctor but to date she refuses to call according to the office manager. I will update this review according to the actions of the doctor if any. they were holding the paper work for the one shot hostage till today, for their money!!! very unprofessional and uncaring to resolve issues when you have them. The staff here is the most friendly group of people and always have smiles upon greeting us and over the phone. Dr Kelly is very thorough and knowledgeable and doesn't go crazy with unnecessary tests if she knows what's going on with your pet (mine had hip dysplasia). They also offer price matching for medication. I have found the best vet team in the area! Read Less

The wait time is more than Ilike. I tried to get an appointment during April for Mollie’s free birthday exam, but they could not accommodate the dates I could come. The receptionist made the appointment for May 3rd (the next available appointment) and said they would honor the free birthday exam. When we were taken back to the room, the tech said, “So Mollie is here for her birthday exam!” Then when it was time for the bill, he put the charge for the exam. I told him what the receptionist said. He said it was past April and there were no notes about the offer still being good. How did he know she was here for her birthday exam if he didn’t read it on her chart? Time to find a new vet. Read Less

I received updates throughout the procedure and I felt completely at ease. This was my first experience and told myself I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Fast forward a few months and my dog had a swollen eye. They were able to take him in the same day and treat my dog as if it is their own. New patient fee is FREE! I chose to come here because of the low initial cost and the lady I spoke to over the phone was so friendly and helpful (unlike the first place I called). Once I arrived, I was greeted by a smiley, friendly, and pet loving receptionist. The waiting room was pet friendly and comfortable. They go over all costs before performing any services. Beware of all the overwhelming positive reviews you see online. They will offer you a discount if you post a positive review online. I use to take my dog here. I have nothing against the staff or veterinarian. They were always very nice and polite. The reason I stopped going there is due to their prices. They really overcharge and I felt like they tried to push unnecessary products and services on me. I now take my dog to a new vet office that is significantly cheaper and I dont feel like I've been robbed everytime I leave. My recommendation is if you feel like they are overcharging you, they probably are. Get a quote elsewhere. Read Less

Took our 16 year old cat, who was very sick. A girl comes in to get a summary of what the problem is and tries to sell us products. The vet finally comes in, does a quick exam and wants to run blood test. I get a call from the office that unfortunately the blood sample got lost and I need to bring the cat back to do it again. I say no way, I want a refund what I paid. She asks for my name and then says Oh wait, it wasn't yours that was lost. The vet will call with with your results. I missed the vets call and called right back. I'm told the vet is on the other line, please hold. 20 MINUTES LATER, I hang up from being on hold and call immediately back and NOW the vet is not available.  My cat is very ill, I'm anxiously waiting to find out what's wrong and they're treating me like this.. Eventually I talk to the vet who says that blood was normal so she recommends a blood test for 'toxins' for $500. Never went back.  I took my cat to another vet who felt a tumor, did an ultrasound in front of us and showed us why it wasn't operable. We decided to put him down so he wouldn't suffer anymore..all for less than half. Read Less

Great experience every time. We've been customers for years, always just for the normal annual and semi-annual check ups. However our pup got very sick 2 different times in 2016, and we were so incredibly grateful for the professionalism and love that we received from the entire staff. They did not try to gouge us with tests that didn't need to be done, or give us any information that wasn't relevant to the current condition and care our pup needed. She has fully recovered from both incidents, and I don't know if I believe she would have if it wasn't for the staff and expertise from Dr. Saporito. Read Less

I just started going to this vet last month. All of the staff are very well informed and the doctor is wonderful My dog needed surgery, and the doctor called me just before the surgery, during the surgery and as soon as it was done . Then the assistant called me as the anesthesia was wearing off. I've never seen such fantastic customer service at ANY doctors office. They are all so loving to their patients. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Brought our dog here on a referral. They told us the first visit was free (ALSO on their advertising)for the consultation. Although they were nice(wanted to make money of course) they turned into complete LIARS. My daughters dog had a growth beginning close to her eye and I went with her and brought her in last Thursday to see what they said. They didn't give alot of information or details but wanted $381 just to do a needle biopsy to see if it was benign or $1189 to remove it. They suggested we think over which one we wanted to do and wanted to schedule it for TUE. They offered CARE CREDIT financing which they told her to apply for when we got home. The technician told us that even though the visit was free, they required a $50 deposit to hold surgery. We didnt even know if she would get approved so I made sure to SPECIFICALLY askif it was refundable in which she stated verbatim," Oh yes! The only way they wouldnt refund you is if you did a no call no show." We went home and my daughter applied for credit but was only approved for $500. My daughters friend said that was a very high estimate and to contact her vet. ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF UNIVERSITY DRIVE IN SUNRISE. We called him and he asked us to text over pictures. He called and I SPOKE WITH HIM FOR 20 minutes OVER PHONE in which he gave me more information than this office did the entire time I was in office. He said to bring her in the following morning. After looking at her and giving us the price he did the surgery that same day PLUS a 6 MONTH SUPPLY OF HEART GUARD MEDICINE FOR $604 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! This vet is a COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We called them on FRIDAY AM to tell them to cancel the surgery for TUESDAY. Today, A WEEK LATER, they had not refunded her money. I called the office and spoke with Monica the office manager who  is a B*&&^^. She refused to even let me speak to the doctor saying she is the manager and it was her decision and she was NOT refunding her the money. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. THEY ARE LIARS. It's Thursday AM and I just found out the results of a culture Bailey had done several days prior! We made an appointment for Monday (first available)to have a procedure done! As time went on I started to panic thinking she needed to be seen sooner! The rest of that day was booked and so was Friday and Dr. Sapparito had the weekend off. I went recommended to this vet from a person I met in the dog park said it was great ...but when I went there with my puppy to get checked they told me the puppy package was what they recommended I should purchase I did so, once purchased they started telling me I needed other vaccines that wasn't covered by the package and quickly started adding up. I left there with a $180 bill I asked before leaving if we were done or if I needed to schedule another appointment, the lady said "no" not till the end of the year. About a month later after the first round of shots were administered I received a postcard saying that we were due for the second round of shots. However once I arrived at COCO-PARK Animal Hospital they told me that it has been to long from the first round of shots that I would have to purchase the first round again and come back in couple weeks to purchase the second round and administer them.They were very misleading, and unapologetic for there mistake and did nothing to correct it.I do not recommend using Coco-Park Animal Hospital! I recently relocated from NYC with Benny, my precious 6 year old Maltese doggie.  I was diligently researching local veterinary doctors when I came across Dr. Saporito at Coco-Park Animal Hospital.  Dr. Saporito and Coco-Park had gotten so many glowing reviews from satisfied pet owners that I decided to bring my little Benny there for his semi-annual check-up.Frankly I was skeptical that any Vet or Animal Hospital could really rate such overwhelmingly positive reviews as they had gotten.  However, after my experience with Dr. Saporito and the staff at Coco-Park I can now unequivocally say that my skepticism was totally unwarranted.From the moment Benny and I arrived I was impressed with the warm, welcoming atmosphere and professionalism of the staff.  Every staff person that came in contact with my Benny got down on the floor to meet him at eye level and make him (and me) feel at ease.  I could immediately tell that these people were true animal lovers!  Dr. Saporito as well, immediately got down on the floor to meet my Benny and make him (and his mommy) feel comfortable.  I was really impressed with the gentle, clearly loving way she interacted with Benny.  Equally impressive, and important, was her knowledge of veterinary medicine.She gave Benny an thorough physical exam and took a great deal of time (and patience) explaining her findings and going over a treatment plan for him.I left Coco-Park feeling confident that I had made the right choice in selecting Dr. Saporito and Coco-Park Veterinary Hospital for my little Benny.  I also should mention that I even got a follow-up phone call from Elizabeth at Coco-Park the next morning to see how Benny was doing after his visit the previous day!I absolutely and unequivocally recommend Dr. Saporito and Coco-Park Veterinary Hospital as the place to go to get quality, professional, and caring treatment for your beloved pets!Raina Paul Read Less

Coco Park Animal Hospital and Dr. Saporito are the best. Extremely caring and professional. The entire office staff is welcoming and very professional. The explain all processes and procedures and make sure you completely understand everything. They are upfront with the cost and it is extremely reasonable. I will never go anywhere else. They also are equipped with a respirator and all essential devices most animal hospitals are not equipped with. This office is very personable, efficient, organized, helpful and understands owners and pets. What can I say COCOPARK is the best!! I have been to many different vet offices and this one is the most friendliest and personable office I have ever been to. From the time you walk in the door and Kelly at the front desk greets you, to Diedre the nurse who finds out what is wrong with your pet and ensures you they will help.
