So I am psychotic about my dog and cry the whole way to the vet to drop her off to be boarded and the whole way home, every time. This place is amazing though. I have moved further from the vet but I still continue to drive out of my way when there are many much closer in my area because they’re so great with my dog. They spoil her and treat her like she is one of their own. They will send you pictures of your pet while you are out of town as well to reassure you! Every time I drop my dog off they make a really big deal over her and make me feel much better about leaving her. I feel very confident that she is well taken care of and loved! Read Less

Very clean, very nice staff. The techs were helpful and caring. We brought our dog in because of vomiting. Based on the list of diagnostic tests, the vet wanted to test for anything and everything that made a dog vomit, ever. Great approach but it's all expensive. No problem right? We decided to pick and choose what we wanted done based on what we thought the problem could be and what we could afford. Then comes the condescending rolling eyes, change in demeanor and repetitive questions like our initial answers weren't true. A few days later, it turned out to be a stomach virus. The symptoms were treated with the medication perscribed and we weren't short the thousand dollars on mostly unnecessary tests. I get there's no good way to know until the tests are done but the judging of our financial choices can wait until you walk into the back room. It doesn't need to happen right in front of us when we're already worried about our dog. Read Less

Absolutely wonderful staff and vet! My 11 year old Weimaraner, Zelda, had been sick with diarrhea for a few days. I made an appointment on Saturday morning at 8:45am. I was able to get in at 12:30pm that day. When I went to VCA Hillsboro with my Zelda, I was greeted warmly by the staff. They even had her name up on the board welcoming her. We were seen immediately. The Vet Tech came and got our information, and Dr. Pisano came in immediately after they. They check her over, took a stool sample, discussed the diagnosis with us, gave us antibiotic and probiotic. We were on our way home at 1:00pm :-) Dr. Pisano personally called me on Monday morning to see how Zelda was doing. She was much better and over the diarrhea. Read Less
