I had an appointment for early May and i did not receive a call confirming the appointment. When I called in, they could not find any information for the surgery i scheduled 2 months prior. Now, mistakes happen anywhere. The Issue lies in how I was spoken to by a staff member, i do not know the spelling of her name as she refused to provide me with it but is sounded like Sashi. horrible attitude, horrible customer service. She even said something along the lines of , i would be upset if i were you and not want to bring my dog here, when i complained about waitng 2 months for an appointment to be told the next appointment is in another 2 months, she then cut me off and basically said i already told you i cant help you okayyyyyy bye and hung up on me! she did not try to help me get a sooner appointment, she was not nice about the situation, she gave me the vibe of like, oh well too bad, see ya. i could not believe how rude and unprofessional she was, she must be mean to the animals. she's that lady that would! i spoke to a friend of mine who is the one that referred me to this place, and when i told her i had an issue over the phone with a rude employee, she knew exactly who i was talking about and mentioned she has been rude to her as well, and always has a funky attitude in person as well almost like shes bitter and trying to argue... i think the vet will lose prospective patients if Sashi or however you spell her name is providing the customer service, showing face for this company or even answering the phones. She should be bathing the dogs somewhere in the back where people cant see her or have to deal with her. I am not giving up on this place because ive heard the Doctor herself is good, but i will let the doctor know about this lady and i will steer clear when i go there, i might take her a sundae, maybe a lick of ice cream will bring some sweetness to her bitterself. Wonderful Doctor! Wonderful staff! Last year when we had to put our beloved Tucker to sleep because he had cancer. Dr. Nowicki cried with us. We take our cat to Four Paws now and he is treated like royalty by everyone there. Read Less

Have been using Four Paws for my cat for around 5 years. Dr. Nowicki performed a life-saving surgery on my cat.  When I adopted my dog last year, it was a no-brainer to bring my dog to Four Paws.  The office personnel are friendly and professional.  They make you feel like family.  They tell you the price of services up front and their prices are fair and reasonable.  I have boarded my dog here several times (even for two weeks) and Michael does a great job caring for her!  My dog is always a happy dog when she returns and has no trouble adapting to her stay. The first time I went to four paws was with a friend many years ago, and I knew right away it was awesome. It's extremely clean and professional. The other day I met the doctor finally to put my fur baby to sleep. I just wanted to thank the doctor and the staff for being amazing, comforting, and empathetic to me. They made us as comfortable as possible, explained everything they were doing with my Toby, and gave us all the time we needed with her. Don't take your pet here! I boarded my dog for a couple of days. When I came to pick him up, they told me he wasn't behaving so they didn't walk him, feed him or bathe him. The poor dog was smelling and full of urine on his body. They said he only ate one time in 3 days! I was shocked. I never had a problem with my dog and they said he was growling and showing teeth. I couldn't beleive it because he has never done that before. I am assuming that maybe they didn't treat him nicely so he became defensive. I was really upset that they never even called me to tell me what was going on. They waited until I picked him up to tell me what happened! My poor dog suffered by not being walked, fed or cleaned! Apparently, they don't know how to handle dogs properly!!! Don't board your dog here! The staff isn't so friendly. They have an attitude and the lady who placed the dogs in the back has a mean demeanor. My daughter even said the lady was mean when we dropped my dog off. I will never set foot in this place again! We have been patients of Four Paws since moving to Florida 3 years ago and are extremely satisfied. Princess is boarded there often and has always received the best of care. When Princess had a problem outside Dr Nowicki's scope, she immediately got me an appointment with a specialist who then did a knee replacement. This happened twice and both times Dr Nowicki was exceptional in her diagnosis and care.  The staff is wonderful and can I say that Princess actually looks forward to going inside when we arrive. I really like the Doctor and most of the staff but they have a policy that they will NOT take results from another Vet of a Negative Heart Worm test. They wanted to charge me another $40 to do a test that had been proven negative 3 weeks before! I needed heart worm meds for my dog and would not give them to me. Read Less
