I did not want to have to write this negative review but they left me no choice. I have two small dogs and took them in for a check up. I felt like I was sold on vaccines that were probably not necessary but giving them the benefit of the doubt, under normal circumstances, they may have been. Both my dogs are under 15lbs. They did not offer the option to stagger the vaccines and instead vaccinated both dogs with the maximum. I was not counseled on the possibilities of reactions. Within 20 minutes one dog was under distress. I returned and she was given steroids and Benadryl. 7 hours later the other dog was in extreme distress and I rushed him to the emergency hospital with horrible hives and tremendous swelling. I thank the CS emergency animal hospital for their tremendous passion. I spent over $600 at this vet for the vaccines and agreed upon other treatments which I expected. What I didn't expect was the additional $250 bill at the ER on top of that. In doing more research, I've learned that giving all of these vaccines to such a small dog was completely irresponsible and risky for reactions. When I called them the next day and reported the issue I was told the owner would call me. I had to call them again to get him on the phone. He informed me that he removed the batches of vaccines from his shelf but implied that the problem was with my dogs and the breeder. Asked me a few times if the dogs were related. No I answered each time. I never got an apology or any responsibility taken in their part. No offer of credit for the ER bill etc. Tough lesson learned but do your research before you vaccinate your dogs all at one time. I'm not convinced this wasn't a bad batch of vaccines as well. Overall the most traumatic experience for me and more importantly my two fur babies.

This place is terrible! They put a muzzle on my scared 1 year old husky and never even gave him the shots I came in for and still I paid $200 for the visit?? For basically nothing but an exam and heartworm. So I took him to Coral Springs vet hospital and they loved him! Gave him treats and all shots and said putting a muzzle on a dog is the worst thing. My dog sat there while they loved him up and he got all his shots and he was so happy! Do NOT take your dog here!! These people don't know what they are doing!

I have been a client of RPVH for years. Recently my cat was quite ill and was ready to end her suffering. Instead she was sent home one more night to suffer and inevitably put to sleep the next afternoon. I will not return to this vet again I was disappointed that she was not a priority to them, if I didn't insist the second day to put her to sleep it would have gone on until the next day..

I have known these doctos for almoat 10 years now, and ill never go to another vet until the day they retire.

Dr Wise is amazing! His staff and the other vets are all great. For over 10 yrs Dr Wise has been taking care of our pets. Doc has so many times, went far out of his way to help us with our old Heidi dog, and we can't thank him enough. On top of the great care the fees are very reasonable. Before we found Dr Wise we went to the "big animal hospital" in town and each time was a mortgage payment for each visit, and you really felt like just a number. Luckily, one of our customers recommended Dr Wise to us, and now we recommend!

After taking my first dog, Zoey, here for 12 years (from 10 weeks old to the day I had to put her down) I knew I had to take my new puppy, Willow, back to this office! Dr. Weiss and Dr. Friedbauer obviously love the animals they care for and do so with compassion and gentle hands. I appreciate their holistic approach and comprehensive exams. I feel confident that my baby is in good hands with them! Willow wasn't even nervous around them as they know exactly how to comfort their furry patients! Highly recommended.

I gave this place five stars because it is very important to me that my animals are well taken care of and well treated and are comfortable. I brought my lab here as part of the SNIP program normally my dog is very shy and can get very nervous around new people and upon our first visit she gave him a bit of a hard time because she was so nervous but the vet techs immediately change that I sitting down with me and my dog giving her treats talking to her petting her and making her feel welcome and comfortable. After all this we got all of our necessary tests done and I was told to come back later on the week for my appointment which I did the procedure was done very quickly and the surgeon did a very good job. The incision was straight clean meat you could barely tell that she had stitches she didn't want stuff or wine or tried to play with her stitches. She seemed very comfortable and acted as if nothing happened. Almost a week after her surgery she started to have some swelling I called the vet they told me to bring her in to check her out and they did she's supposed fine just normal swelling but the fact that they would be extra mile to make me feel better and to make my dog feel better made all the difference. This is the event I would definitely go back to you with no hesitation whatsoever and the pricing isn't bad at all. If you're looking for a good event where they take care of your pet and you feel comfortable and your pet feels comfortable this is definitely a place I recommend not to mention taking the vouchers for the SNIP program is a total Plus

Love this vet office! I found them on the SNIP providers website for spay services. The staff is wonderful, attentive, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I went to have my dog checked out for some issues she was having and to also get a pre-exam for her spay appointment in a few weeks. They called today as a courtesy to check up on my dog and I am very appreciative of their effort. Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. I will definitely continue bringing my pets here. My daughters brought the puppy here because they could not get an appointment at our regular vet. As soon as I learned this, I called our vet and was able to get an appointment nearly immediately. I was on the phone with my daughters and instructed them to decline services and pay any visit costs. They told the staff this and after she advised the doctor of our position, they closed the door and continued to treat our animal.
I find this to be the height of dishonesty and taking advantage of scared young ladies. After a complaint was made, they reduced the cost of service by only $23. They originally wanted $456.24 to treat a small spot that the puppy broke in his skin biting at parasites.
You can do better elsewhere; we do.

My dog was having severe food allergies. He was itchy, continuous ear infections etc. After about 2 months of bringing him to an inexperienced vet I was reccomend to bring him to Royal palm vet. Dr. Friedbauer ran an allergy test to see what exactly is causing these reactions. She didn't even charge me!!! She is so friendly and really truly cares about her patients. I won't go anywhere else and reccomend every one of my friends and family here!!!!

I have never met any vets more caring than Dr. Friedbaur or Dr.Weiss. they will go above and beyond for any patient that needs them. They just need the staff to back them up. But they'll get there. P.s. Judy is their hospital manager, she's tough, but she knows her stuff she's good and has a great heart as well. She always looks after her staff and the clients best intrests as well. I may not work there any more, but you better believe I would still send my friends or my own pets to Dr. F or Dr. W.

This is my primary veterinarian and I live all the way in East Pembroke Pines. Although the distance sometimes is a bother I would like to recommend this veterinary office for their excellent service. I have two dogs a 1 year old hyper German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) and 3 year old docile Dapple Dachshund. From the moment you walk in, they treat you wonderfully and receive your pet with so much care. Stephanie, a vet tech here is by far the only vet tech able to handle my crazy and hyper GSP!! She is able to calm him and handle putting him vaccines or anything needed. She's very good and explains things in great detail! My 3 year old dachshund suffered a back injury. She has the IVDD disease and the vet here with acupuncture and laser therapy was able to get her back to walking again! No surgery needed! I am beyond grateful for this! She didn't walk for 2-1/2 weeks! I'm so happy they took such good care of her! I recommend this veterinarian office to anyone!

I have probably been to more than 5 vets in this area in the past 10 years, so I'd like to think I have experience on the subject. I came here by way of a recommendation from relatives. I (and my pets...
I have probably been to more than 5 vets in this area in the past 10 years, so I'd like to think I have experience on the subject. I came here by way of a recommendation from relatives. I (and my pets) have rarely been treated so well at a facility ever. The vets (a husband and wife team, along with an associate vet) are so incredibly personable, sympathetic and knowledgeable that I feel completely at ease. At a time when it's hard to justify such medical cost for an animal, they do everything they can to minimize the expense. I left one nearby vet because they wanted to refer you to a specialist at every turn. Dr. Friedbauer has spent more than a half hour on more than one occasion just talking to me about my cat over the phone. She regularly tries to find the least intrusive solution to a problem. The staff regularly calls to check up after a visit. Every time I've been there (too many times to count lately, I'm afraid) I see the vet helping people to their cars with their pets. This is true personalized service! I don't know what happened to the other reviewer but I can't imagine it being the same place!

This clinic is not the same, my dog has been a patient at the Royal Palm Vet for several years, but I will NEVER take him or any of my pets here again. There was no compassion for my dog who was suffering. I spoke to the vet herself over the phone and she was extremely cold, not willing to help with my situation. This clinic's only concern was getting money out of me, not the well-being of my dog. I would not recommend bringing your pet here. I do not trust any vet who cares more about how much money they can make from me over how they can heal my dog.

After taking my first dog, Zoey, here for 12 years (from 10 weeks old to the day I had to put her down) I knew I had to take my new puppy, Willow, back to this office! Dr. Weiss and Dr. Friedbauer obviously love the animals they care for and do so with compassion and gentle hands. I appreciate their holistic approach and comprehensive exams. I feel confident that my baby is in good hands with them! Willow wasn't even nervous around them as they know exactly how to comfort their furry patients! Highly recommended.

I gave this place five stars because it is very important to me that my animals are well taken care of and well treated and are comfortable. I brought my lab here as part of the SNIP program normally my dog is very shy and can get very nervous around new people and upon our first visit she gave him a bit of a hard time because she was so nervous but the vet techs immediately change that I sitting down with me and my dog giving her treats talking to her petting her and making her feel welcome and comfortable. After all this we got all of our necessary tests done and I was told to come back later on the week for my appointment which I did the procedure was done very quickly and the surgeon did a very good job. The incision was straight clean meat you could barely tell that she had stitches she didn't want stuff or wine or tried to play with her stitches. She seemed very comfortable and acted as if nothing happened. Almost a week after her surgery she started to have some swelling I called the vet they told me to bring her in to check her out and they did she's supposed fine just normal swelling but the fact that they would be extra mile to make me feel better and to make my dog feel better made all the difference. This is the event I would definitely go back to you with no hesitation whatsoever and the pricing isn't bad at all. If you're looking for a good event where they take care of your pet and you feel comfortable and your pet feels comfortable this is definitely a place I recommend not to mention taking the vouchers for the SNIP program is a total Plus

Love this vet office! I found them on the SNIP providers website for spay services. The staff is wonderful, attentive, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I went to have my dog checked out for some issues she was having and to also get a pre-exam for her spay appointment in a few weeks. They called today as a courtesy to check up on my dog and I am very appreciative of their effort. Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. I will definitely continue bringing my pets here. Thank you Royal Palm Vet!

My daughters brought the puppy here because they could not get an appointment at our regular vet. As soon as I learned this, I called our vet and was able to get an appointment nearly immediately. I was on the phone with my daughters and instructed them to decline services and pay any visit costs. They told the staff this and after she advised the doctor of our position, they closed the door and continued to treat our animal.
I find this to be the height of dishonesty and taking advantage of scared young ladies. After a complaint was made, they reduced the cost of service by only $23. They originally wanted $456.24 to treat a small spot that the puppy broke in his skin biting at parasites.
You can do better elsewhere; we do.

I have been to almost every vet in the area in my almost 15 years here and they are truly exceptional- always going above and beyond for us. I have been with Dr. Weiss since my Princess and Peanut toy poodles were 3 months old. Dr. Weis is a caring and gentle Vet. When my Peanut got Cancer at the age of 13 years and the decision was made to stop his suffering by putting him to sleep in May of 2016. They have a genuine love for all their furry patients and their families. All the doctors, veterinary techs, assistants and administrative staff are tops. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

She is holistic, does NAET allergy testing and acupuncture. She was wonderful when my Max had cancer, we saw her every week, sometimes twice a week. She helped him tremendously.

My dog was having severe food allergies. He was itchy, continuous ear infections etc. After about 2 months of bringing him to an inexperienced vet I was reccomend to bring him to Royal palm vet. Dr. Friedbauer ran an allergy test to see what exactly is causing these reactions. She didn't even charge me!!! She is so friendly and really truly cares about her patients. I won't go anywhere else and reccomend every one of my friends and family here!!!!

I have never met any vets more caring than Dr. Friedbaur or Dr.Weiss. they will go above and beyond for any patient that needs them. They just need the staff to back them up. But they'll get there. P.s. Judy is their hospital manager, she's tough, but she knows her stuff she's good and has a great heart as well. She always looks after her staff and the clients best intrests as well. I may not work there any more, but you better believe I would still send my friends or my own pets to Dr. F or Dr. W.

This is my primary veterinarian and I live all the way in East Pembroke Pines. Although the distance sometimes is a bother I would like to recommend this veterinary office for their excellent service. I have two dogs a 1 year old hyper German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) and 3 year old docile Dapple Dachshund. From the moment you walk in, they treat you wonderfully and receive your pet with so much care. Stephanie, a vet tech here is by far the only vet tech able to handle my crazy and hyper GSP!! She is able to calm him and handle putting him vaccines or anything needed. She's very good and explains things in great detail! My 3 year old dachshund suffered a back injury. She has the IVDD disease and the vet here with acupuncture and laser therapy was able to get her back to walking again! No surgery needed! I am beyond grateful for this! She didn't walk for 2-1/2 weeks! I'm so happy they took such good care of her! I recommend this veterinarian office to anyone!

I have probably been to more than 5 vets in this area in the past 10 years, so I'd like to think I have experience on the subject. I came here by way of a recommendation from relatives. I (and my pets) have rarely been treated so well at a facility ever. The vets (a husband and wife team, along with an associate vet) are so incredibly personable, sympathetic and knowledgeable that I feel completely at ease. At a time when it's hard to justify such medical cost for an animal, they do everything they can to minimize the expense. I left one nearby vet because they wanted to refer you to a specialist at every turn. Dr. Friedbauer has spent more than a half hour on more than one occasion just talking to me about my cat over the phone. She regularly tries to find the least intrusive solution to a problem. The staff regularly calls to check up after a visit. Every time I've been there (too many times to count lately, I'm afraid) I see the vet helping people to their cars with their pets. This is true personalized service! I don't know what happened to the other reviewer but I can't imagine it being the same place!

This clinic is not the same, my dog has been a patient at the Royal Palm Vet for several years, but I will NEVER take him or any of my pets here again. There was no compassion for my dog who was suffering. I spoke to the vet herself over the phone and she was extremely cold, not willing to help with my situation. This clinic's only concern was getting money out of me, not the well-being of my dog. I would not recommend bringing your pet here. I do not trust any vet who cares more about how much money they can make from me over how they can heal my dog.
