When my pup wasn't feeling good I started looking for a new vet. My old vet was good, but super expensive. After hearing from some friends and Yelp I decided on Balasky. My experience here was great, everyone was friendly and welcoming. After the exam and testing we found out what was wrong and were given medication. The prices here are very good and they don't do unnecessary testing. I highly recommend them as a vet if you're looking for one. Read Less

I was reffered here by a friend and I am forever greatful. This is the only Vet that hasnt has to mussle my dog and actually got to examine his teeth! I have been coming here for years and all of my dogs are under the care of Dr Jennifer Ballasky.She is an amazing veterinarian, has a sense of humor, great bedside manner, and not to mention she is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She is conservative in her approach and says it just the way it is. She has been spot on with her diagnosis's and I bring all 4 of my dogs here. Dr Balasky and Dr Dingfelder are 2nd to none. They are both the most caring, smart, and compassionate vets I've met. They've gone above and beyond to help me with my Doberman Ace. We incidentally found a tumor in my dogs leg. He referred me to Dr. her again to get biopsies done. The first one came back inconclusive so I needed to go back for a second. The biopsy was $1500 and I just wasn't in the position to get the second one done right away. Dr. Dingfelder took it upon himself to contact Dr. Horgon to try to help me out with pricing. When I decided to get my first dog this vet was recommended to me by numerous friends. As a first time dog owner I would freak out over the smallest things and the staff and DR. would be patient with me and explained everything I needed to know and what to expect. I have a male Rottweiler that had a big abscess on his front paw. The abscess was making him limp. Dr. Jen Balasky immediately recommended surgery, and he was under their care for three days. When I picked my dog up from the vet, I was greeted with warm smiles, and kindness from the staff . When I saw my dog, he was back to his normal self walking and running again. Due to a bad experience at an entirely different vets office we had a fear of taking our girls to the vet. It had been two years, well past their due date. Our oldest girl got something in her eye and that was a sign we needed to bring the girls in. The office wasn't aware of our fear of vets but treated us with kindness and compassion, and plenty of treats for my snack lover, and our nervous wreck! And the best part didn't try to oversell us on things our girls don't need. Our last vet said our oldest "NEEDED" her teeth cleaned (which is what caused the problem with the last vet, and they never cleaned them). We give our girls bones and chews to help keep their teeth in good shape, Dr Dingfelder was amazed at how great of shape their teeth were in, no overselling of things we don't need, just so they could make money. Took care of our girls and brought back our faith in vets again, and Dr Dingfelder has a great disposition, and great sense of humor. I'm glad they came highly recommended to us. Cathy the office manager is incredibly helpful from start to end and I honestly felt like my cat Bailey (13 years old) and Earl (3 years old) received a THOROUGH exam. I have been going to Balasky Animal Hospital for over 10 years.  Fortunately it was for annual visits only until this past month.  Long story short our dog had developed a brain tumor.  The compassion the staff showed the day we put our dog down was amazing.  Then I was totally blown away when I received a ceramic ornament with her paw print and name on it.  I was touched to my core with such a thoughtful remembrance. Dr. Balasky has been treating our animals for almost twenty years. The people in his office are super as well. They are all helpful and very patient with us and our animals. Dr. Balasky will not suggest treatments that are not necessary and has always been incredibly right in his diagnostics and treatments. I strongly disagree about the negative review regarding Dr. Dingfelder. He is the most compassionate animal and people loving person on the planet. I never wright reviews, but I just could not stand by and not give my opinion. He helped my very sick dog like it was his own. My Ralphy passed away with Dr. D's help and gentleness. He sent me a sympathy card stating how sorry he was and how much he became attached with Ralphy. What doctor does that? I wish I could go to Dr. Dingfelder and Dr. Balasky as my own doctors they are the greatest. Read Less

Dr. Balasky advised and supported me through a very difficult time when my pet was dying. He is not in it for the money; he really loves animals and wants the best for his clients. His fees are reasonable and will not recommend a treatment that is not needed. Read Less
