Worst/Best day ever. I wake up, feed, and let my dog (Mikey.)out in our fenced in backyard and leave the door open for him to do his business and come back inside while I get ready for work. After getting ready, I realized he vanished.. he had dog a hole underneath the fence and escaped! We live in a gated community (on military trl 😫)with a cement wall bordering so I immediately start circling our development searching for him. I posted on social media and animal control website but nothing...several hours go by and still no sign of him.. then I get a phone call from his veterinary’s office so my heart drops. Coincidentally, someone picked him up and took him there to keep him safe. They were going to contact animal control to pick him up but the nurse recognized Mikey and called me immediately. Starting the day with one of the worst feeling to ending with my fur baby in my arms with made this a happy ending. I want to thank the staff of Dr. Angels for outstanding care and quality service..and the good samaritan/amazing person who took him in and made sure he was safe. There is still good in humanity.

Saw Dr Mann today having dealt with an adopted greyt/lab/retriever mix on Easter Sunday. She began demonstrating true fear- aggression. I have owned 24 K-9's, trained 3 into service for myself, chairbound 18 yrs now, awa 14 for the men & women returning from overseas w/permanent disabilities. I'm not certified, I consider it a gift from God & as I will be 70 y/old in a matter of days now, & given the fact both myself awa a personal trainer are in agreement re: her potential, failure is not an option. I'm determined to love awa train her to her potential as I see how bright she is, most likely abandoned by a death, picked up on the streets and in a shelter for 11 days. She was kenneled w/a beautiful pitty, I was assured that she got along with other k9's-.& I spent 45 mins alone assessing her & went fwd w/adoption.
Once home, inside, loving, would sit, paw or hi five, down, roll over, off, but clearly not leash trained, so either she had a run or fenced yard area. She allowed me to pull up on her, held me steady and was loving & playful. Underweight, malnourished, now a healthy weight.
Not afraid of a lg. specialized power chair, a bonus as well. Open the door and she's a maniac! Barking at nothing, highly reactive to bird's bugs, geico's and thunderphobic. Valium, benydryl, Tramadol... no more a remedy than the man in the moon! First time I ever had a personal trainer, 7 sessions later, following her direction vigilantly. Progress in training, not@ home. By now I am becoming stressed and sought out this vet.
I found his staff friendly, warm and welcoming as did she. Dr Mann spent a lot of time with me and my CNA. Found my dog to be healthy and she responded well to him. THIS IN AND OF ITSELF, IS A PRIORITY for me as her mistress. Having discussed behavioural matters, he did ask if I had considered this was not the right dog for me
I'm grateful for my choice in this new vet, found him to be compassionate and caring. He prescribed medication for her & told me to call him asap if I saw any side effects other than promising.
I would highly recommend this establishment, the Dr and staff. Now I pray we have found a remedy for my precious K-9. It's clean and impressive, another priority all should consider.
I am D. Corrieri and proud to be giving this review, which btw, is not common for me. I'm going to ask for prayer awa possitive energy to come our way!

A total and complete nightmare! Dr. Angel revealed his true colors when my babygirl was viciously attacked by an unvaccinated pitt bull he actually had the audacity to tell me not to sue the owner as if I asked for his opinion! He obviously doesn't care....so much for "compassion"! Plus, one of his "nasty" girls that works at the counter had the gall to interfere in my private conversation with the dark "angel" and ask me if there was a no dogs allowed sign (which there wasn't) as if it were any of HER business and I felt unsupported, attacked & betrayed. Not to mention that they didn't anesthesize her while cleaning out wounds and I had to listen to her crying the whole time and when we went for follow-up it was a complete waste of time because they did nothing besides tell me not to sue. They're also slandering my character to a new vet who called them yesterday to ask for my dogs file to be sent over. How mature and professional does all this sound to you????

Considered Boca-Delray Animal Hospital as a permanent vet for our newly adopted dog. Called to make an appointment and Amanda answered the phone. Perhaps she could not hear me when I asked to make a wellness appointment but she screamed HELLO! into the receiver then hung up. I called back as perhaps it was a drop in signal; she answered again and didn't say a word but simply hung up. No problem, we will take our dog and business else where.

We made this appointment due to the good Google reviews. As a first time visitor we used the coupon for a free first exam. We knew our cat had ring worm and just wanted advice on treatments. As we were having a free exam it was obvious that all they wanted to do was make money out of us. During the exam the technician asked if we wanted to have her use the 'woods lamp' to see if the fungus luminesced - there was no mention of charge for this as part of the exam and then we proceeded to have to pay $25 for the privilege of 20 seconds with our cat under UV lamp. We were then advised that further treatment was needed with 4 treatments costing $55 each. This is double what other vets charge for the treatment and they neglected to tell us we could buy the treatment and do it ourselves saving hundreds of dollars. In short, treatment was ok, business ethic is shocking. Avoid if you don't want unexpected expense. In all our 'free' exam cost us $60.

I do not recommend. They were polite but double dipped. My dog has had chronic ear infections all his life, he is a lab with big floppy ears. I routinely use ear cleaner and when necessary otibiotic ear drops. My previous vets knew that I knew how to handle. I had some otibiotic that I brought from Virginia from the Virginia vet. to use prn. Buddy's ears have been in pretty good shape for awhile and I did not need the meds. When I tried to fill it the Boca Delray rx 10 months later, they refused to cooperate with the online vet pharmacies. I took the rx to a walk in pharmacy and they had to call the doc because they were not familiar with this particular med and Boca Delray Animal Hospital cancelled the rx without even bothering to give me a call. I get the feeling that they are just trying to generate more revenue. I have scheduled an appt for tomorrow from a recommended vet in this area. I will not be fleeced by this vet. The other vet comes highly recommended, they match med prices with 1-800 pet meds and will call in prescriptions in a pinch when I return to Virginia. Two thumbs down Boca-Delray Animal Hospital.

Not to mention that they didn't anesthesize her while cleaning out wounds and I had to listen to her crying the whole time and when we went for follow-up it was a complete waste of time because they did nothing besides tell me not to sue. They're also slandering my character to a new vet who called them yesterday to ask for my dogs file to be sent over. How mature and professional does all this sound to you????

Dr. Mann & Dr. Angel have both been great!!! Dr. Angel even 'talked me off a cliff' on a Sunday when my dog was limping for no apparent reason! Definitely would suggest using them

Considered Boca-Delray Animal Hospital as a permanent vet for our newly adopted dog. Called to make an appointment and Amanda answered the phone. Perhaps she could not hear me when I asked to make a wellness appointment but she screamed HELLO! into the receiver then hung up. I called back as perhaps it was a drop in signal; she answered again and didn't say a word but simply hung up. No problem, we will take our dog and business else where.

We made this appointment due to the good Google reviews. As a first time visitor we used the coupon for a free first exam. We knew our cat had ring worm and just wanted advice on treatments. As we were having a free exam it was obvious that all they wanted to do was make money out of us. During the exam the technician asked if we wanted to have her use the 'woods lamp' to see if the fungus luminesced - there was no mention of charge for this as part of the exam and then we proceeded to have to pay $25 for the privilege of 20 seconds with our cat under UV lamp. We were then advised that further treatment was needed with 4 treatments costing $55 each. This is double what other vets charge for the treatment and they neglected to tell us we could buy the treatment and do it ourselves saving hundreds of dollars. In short, treatment was ok, business ethic is shocking. Avoid if you don't want unexpected expense. In all our 'free' exam cost us $60.

I do not recommend. They were polite but double dipped. My dog has had chronic ear infections all his life, he is a lab with big floppy ears. I routinely use ear cleaner and when necessary otibiotic ear drops. My previous vets knew that I knew how to handle. I had some otibiotic that I brought from Virginia from the Virginia vet. to use prn. Buddy's ears have been in pretty good shape for awhile and I did not need the meds. When I tried to fill it the Boca Delray rx 10 months later, they refused to cooperate with the online vet pharmacies. I took the rx to a walk in pharmacy and they had to call the doc because they were not familiar with this particular med and Boca Delray Animal Hospital cancelled the rx without even bothering to give me a call. I get the feeling that they are just trying to generate more revenue. I have scheduled an appt for tomorrow from a recommended vet in this area. I will not be fleeced by this vet. The other vet comes highly recommended, they match med prices with 1-800 pet meds and will call in prescriptions in a pinch when I return to Virginia. Two thumbs down Boca-Delray Animal Hospital.
