Great staff. They listen to and answer all questions thoroughly. They treated our dog very well during her latest stay in doggy daycare. The next time we travel I will have zero concerns with dropping our beloved pet off with the great staff at Highland Animal Hospital. Service? When you walk in they are prompt with a hello and to getting down to business and helping with yours and your pets needs. They are great, 'nough said ;)

Started in their Safety Harbor Office, moved to Dunedin when we moved closer. Our 1 1/2 yo Sheepadoodle Ivy has some particular congenital anomalies and Dr. Brett has been amazing helping us to figure out treatment as he explains in detail what is going on. And I love the staff SO MUCH. They're really wonderful. I board her there as well, and the care is EXCELLENT. She seemed ill during one stay, and she was seen by the vet and I was not even charged for the checkup. When I take her home after a boarding, she's happier than when I drop her off, no anxiety! I can't recommend this practice and boarding highly enough.

We adopted a cat and decided to come here since close to home. 1st visit was great! Then our kitty had an episode and needed to be seen immediately. He seemed uncomfortable but stable. Go in 1st thing...
We adopted a cat and decided to come here since close to home. 1st visit was great! Then our kitty had an episode and needed to be seen immediately. He seemed uncomfortable but stable. Go in 1st thing in the morning. They seemed annoyed that it was so early. Then said no vets in for a couple hours. Asked them to recommend another place. Said Animal ER. Advised would like to not pay double. This woman said if I'm on a budget this is not the vet for me. 1st off didnt say I'm on a budget just didnt think i should go to an ER when other vets are open now. So rude and tried everything to discourage my business. Found a better place and have a healthy kitty again. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

Dr. Brett is the absolute best in the business! His compassion and understanding is of the highest standard. He has been our primary Vet for over 15 years and we always keep him, his family ( two legged and four ) , and his staff of equally skilled professionals in our thoughts and prayers. He has performed "miracles " for some of our four legged family members and will always be humbally appreciative for his GOD given passion.

We are new to the area originally from New England. We started going to Highland Animal Hospital since last fall 2015 after a not so good experience elsewhere. They go above and beyond for their furry clients. Feeling the love . We highly recommended them. We had an emergency situation recently and they went above and beyond to fit us in their busy schedule. It's nice they have two locations.

Recently moved to the area from another state. I needed to take my aging pet to have him looked at due to some recent health changes. I am very pleased with the care my pet received. The vet and the tech were beyond knowledgeable and kind. The Vet spent a good amount of time in the exam room and we were not rushed.
I have a lot of experience in taking animals to the various vets back home through rescue work and even working in clinics. I did not feel like a number here and did not feel like the vet was rushing to get us in and out. AMAZING clinic. I will be establishing care for my other pets here.

My dog, Reggie, is a newly adopted, very shy and timid Pit Bull Terrier. Dr. Brett and the entire staff have taken a lot of extra time and patience with Reggie to make him comfortable in the office during his visits. They did our exams on "Reggie's" level, did not rush him, and really took every effort to put him at ease. The staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of the questions that I had. I was referred to Highland Animal Hospital through a friend, and I am so glad! I definitely trust Dr. Brett and the staff to take the best care of Reggie.

There are somethings that money just can't buy which is class, caring and tact. This place just helped me with the loss of my dog. Knowing they did everything they could to save him and care about my well being after the fact. I have the up most respect and loyalty for this place, I will be taking any and all my pets and future ones here from now on. These are the people to go when it comes to caring for your fuzzy loved ones, couldn't ask for a better staff of folks.

Dr. B. and the staff at Highland are wonderful. We take our dog to Highland and he gets quality care and love when he spends a few days boarding there. We have referred friends to Highland and they love it. One friend quoted, "This is the only vet Roxie has been too where she is not shaking and afraid." I believe this comes from the top down giving love and understanding to all animals who walk through their doors. Great staff. They listen to and answer all questions thoroughly. They treated our dog very well during her latest stay in doggy daycare. The next time we travel I will have zero concerns with dropping our beloved pet off with the great staff at Highland Animal Hospital. Service? Started in their Safety Harbor Office, moved to Dunedin when we moved closer. Our 1 1/2 yo Sheepadoodle Ivy has some particular congenital anomalies and Dr. Brett has been amazing helping us to figure out treatment as he explains in detail what is going on. And I love the staff SO MUCH. They're really wonderful. I board her there as well, and the care is EXCELLENT. She seemed ill during one stay, and she was seen by the vet and I was not even charged for the checkup. When I take her home after a boarding, she's happier than when I drop her off, no anxiety! I can't recommend this practice and boarding highly enough.

We adopted a cat and decided to come here since close to home. 1st visit was great! Then our kitty had an episode and needed to be seen immediately. He seemed uncomfortable but stable. Recently moved to the area from another state. I needed to take my aging pet to have him looked at due to some recent health changes. I am very pleased with the care my pet received. The vet and the tech were beyond knowledgeable and kind. The Vet spent a good amount of time in the exam room and we were not rushed.
I have a lot of experience in taking animals to the various vets back home through rescue work and even working in clinics. I did not feel like a number here and did not feel like the vet was rushing to get us in and out. AMAZING clinic. I will be establishing care for my other pets here.
