I love Dr Daniels!  Dr Randy is awesome too, as are all the DVM's that are there.They have recently changed ownership, I was not thrilled with the previous Dr.'s that were there, so this was a nice change. The prior Dr's did not seem to care as much, as these new to the practice Dr.'s, do.I love how everything is explained, including what the meds are for, and how to dose. They listen to what your concerns are, and address them.  One of my Sphynx, was just diagnosed with HCM. Even though it's a deadly disease, we have a very manageable treatment at this point. I like that it wasn't necessary to start with a bunch of meds that were expensive, and probably wouldn't make a big difference. In the process of a multi medication treatment plan, it would have caused more stress and exacerbated his HCM. I have 5 cats and 4 dogs. Three of my cats are over the age of 10 and one of my dogs is 12.  It's important as they get older, to have a Vet you can trust.  They start needing more care, and age related issues start popping up. One of my oldest cats is not a very friendly cat, and they have been able to do all the tests she needs, and get her meds in her. Whenever I need an appointment they are very accommodating. Great place and I agree with others the staff is very friendly. I've been taking both of my dog's there for the two years I've lived here and they always answer all my questions and ask before doing a procedure that might cost a lot. I am not yet a client, but had to speak to someone about an issue I am having with my cats. I was lucky enough to get Alison on the phone. I must say, she was Very pleaent, and friendly! Even tho I am not YET, a client. She took the time to listen to my problem, and gave me some info I was in need of. I will most definitely be trying them out, when I need a vet! Had an awesome experience all the staff was super nice and helpful, especially Allison, I would definitely recommend this place!! I was actually going to another vet for a lump on my dog and they just shrugged it off and said she was fine so I called here they gave me an immediate appointment as soon as I explained what was wrong. They actually took the time to look her over and explain throughly what was happening and gave proper antibiotics and care instructions. Read Less

Went to Sunnybrook for my dogs monthly heartgard dose and they charged 22.00 for a single 1 month dose., .  We were new patients and had been going to Lemon Bay just down the street from Sunnybrook.  My wife told them no thanks and to remove it from my credit card which they promptly did.  I immediately drove 5 minutes away to Lemon Bay and purchased the identical medication for 52.00 for 6 months worth.   Sunnybrook charges 4-5 times more for the identical "heartgard" product.  Do the math for yourself.  For 30 bucks more I got 5 additional doses.  The staff was great but doesn't mean they should rip anyone off because they are friendly.  Lemon Bay is equally friendly.  In the past I've purchased single dose at Lemon Bay for I think it was 10-12 bucks if it was even that much.  Something like that which is reasonable for single dose Read Less

The doctors are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions you have with a smile. A wonderful place. Clean and well maintained. The staff are extremely nice and welcoming. Often coming out from behind the desk to greet you and your fuzzy friend(s) enthusiastically. The vet doctors very knowledgeable. They go above and beyond their call of duty; taking tough cases where they're stumped as a challenge. They always take budget into account. Finding cheaper alternatives when possible. They're very upfront. Never guilting you into paying for procedures, items or services that aren't necessary. Dr Titi is the best. I moved to San Diego, CA from St. Petersburg. When my 13 year old Molly was diagnosed with terminal cancer I tried desperately to find suitable and caring treatment for her in San Diego and frankly was shocked by what I found, not just how expensive things would be but also the treatment of the animal. For example, one vet I visited aspirated the tumor on the leg and taped over the tumor. Ok, but the tape was sticky and on the way ouf the office in front of my very own eyes I watched her yank the stinky tape from the wound causing great pain to my dog. WTH? I mean why didn't she just put a gauze on top of the tape? I ran, not walked out of that office. After that experience I just had enough. I called Dr. Tibi, whom I known while living in St. Petersburg. I decided that the only person I would trust to treat my baby was Dr. Tibi, even if it meant driving 2500 miles to see him. Dr. Tibi removed as much of the tumor from Molly's leg as he could, he gave me supplies of medications to make her last couple of months with us as comfortable and happy as possible. Negligent and Rude! I took a my dog that I recently adopted to Sunnybrook. He was up to date on all of his shots but had been recently completed treatment of heart worms by the rescue group prior to the adoption. When I called to make the appointment, I spoke to the receptionist/vet tech and told her that I only wanted a heart worm test and a license as he was up to date on shots. I actually had a package of heart worm medication for another pet that passed away a few months prior but did not want to give it to my new dog until we personally had him tested. I spoke to her at length explaining that I wanted to be extra careful about what I gave him and vaccinations since my dog's breed can have immune related problems. (My dog that had just passed had an immune related disorder that a veterinarian intern and a immune specialist diagnosed as related to over vaccination. I spent a tremendous amount of money caring for my sweet dog after he was diagnosed and had a special letter that exempted him from having to have additional rabies vaccination, still, he had to take many medications that were costly and eventually we lost him because of these issues) I was not able to go to the appointment, but my husband and I made a list of questions to ask the vet about vaccines and what was required. While my husband was talking to the vet about the fact that the dog did not need any vaccinations, he vaccinated him anyway! Yes, you read that correctly - he had all the paperwork that showed that he was up to date on shots, my husband was asking him what the county required and what would be necessary in the years to follow and the Vet gave him another rabies shot! Plus when all was said and done, they could not even give us the required license nor a full 12 months supply of heart worm meds. ( we live in one county, but this vet is the closest vet and in another county, I had specifically ask if they had license for my county and was told "yes") Needless to say when I found out all of this, I was furious. We began calling the owner/vet of Sunnybrook and he has refused to call us back. We reached the point of being out of heart worm medication this month so I called them once again to get the medication filled at a popular online pet pharmacy. They refused - saying that we no longer bring our dog there so they will not help us with a prescription. There has not been a required vet visit for our dog since his appointment with them earlier this year and we feel we are certainly entitled to the rest of the prescription without having to pay for an additional test. But since we had once again brought up their negligence of vaccinating a dog that didn't need it and no returned phone call, they apparently have decided that since they don't stand much chance in making more money from us that they won't help with the prescription, saying that "they are no longer our vet" I once again asked for the Vet to call me about these issues, was told he would be given the message as soon as he finished with a patient, but have not received a call from him. In addition when I told the person I was speaking to today that I felt that they were negligent and could have endangered my dog's health with this vaccination, she told me that was not possible. She is wrong and because I have faced the consequences of what happens and know better. When I told her this, she hung up on me. When I called back, she picked up the phone and then hung it back up.
